voting for LPVO lineup of reviews -- whatever the new stuff these guys got coming out after shot show! Your videos are by far the most practical for optic visuals in more than a flat range setting.Has anyone ever asked you what you're doing running around with a light and optic on a wood block? LOL
LPVO's are my favorite type of scopes. They are so practical and useful for nearly every single type of shooting. With thr expection being bench rest or very long distance small group shots at 500+ yards. I want to get my. Hands on as many LPVO's as possible and do exactly that.
I'm currently going through the whole optic decision. I have a 10.5" 556 that I just sold my MRO -- deciding if I want to go with an Eotech EXPS 3-0.... or try a LPVO... maybe the steiner 1-4 or the PA raptor.... I know PA JUST released their 1-8 raptor that i'm extremely interested in and i'm hoping steiner introduces a new budget optic this year as well! Will be my first LPVO so these vides help TREMENDOUSLY -- i'm also extremely interested in the new Sig tango lineup (especially since they won the army contract) Thanks for doing something different and refreshing !

Oh, i'm patiently waiting -- i'm praying eotech finally releases something NEW -- I KNOW they have new magnifiers... hoping for an update on the holographic lineup...I also know Trijicon posted a "teaser" for 1/8/20 for product announcement I assume.I can't wait!! Hoping with the recent LPVO buzz that we see more budget lines to get people into them as well as some budget 1.93 scope mounts -- $180 to get in the door is steep!
@@SynFuLLLz Trijicon LPVO's from all that ive gotten to play with them, are among the best. Id be very interested to see a slightly more affordable option from them and a decent BDC. Its going to be a great next couple of weeks!
I think it could be useful. Similar to what Trijicon has but with a finite center dot. The bottom ends of the triangle could be used for ranging/windage. However it wouldnt really be for any specific distance or wind speed.

Great review. I have one on my ar and personally love it..refresh rate is great and love the retical. Killflash is meh..but doesn't bother me so I left it. For about half the cost of a t2 and all the durability can't go wrong..the good holosuns don't break
Due to the poor cheep weld with any sort of optic, I actually run that with the factory irons. If/when I get a Magpul Backpacker stock for it, then Ill probably run a wide FOV reflex on it.

Could you please give me an advice witch red dot sight to buy between Holosun 515C or Sig Sauer Romeo 5 in terms of glass and red dot quality. I have watched both your reviews but I still can decide between the two.
The 515 is nicer then the Romeo 5 in terms of reticle. Glass is completely clear on the Romeo, the 515 has a tint. But if price is your concern. The Romeo 5 is a good choice for those on a budget.
Man I wish I could've seen this magnified, and does the red shadow in certain light get bad? Does it look good magnified? Also I have heard the fixed the red glare...? I'm not sure, but people recently don't mention anything about it..?
Do you mount the scopes on just a mount or is it a airsoft rifle of some sort? Do you Hunt? What do you think about reddots like this vs normal dot reddots for hunting? Gah the green tint on the glass is anoying.
I made a custom rig for these videos. No guns /toys were used for legal reasons. I do not hunt but if I were to use a red dot for hunting. I would want the smallest aiming for with the best fov and the least amount of distractions. The 2 MOA dot on this if very fine. The 65 MOA circle isn't a bother, and the fov isn't too bad either. It would be a decent choice imo. Merry Christmas

If your going for groups or just hits on target. A good 6x will get you to well into 400 yards on a bore. A bdc is really nice for quick on target shots. And of course; the price range your looking to be within.

Classic C Does content. On the merits, the red “bloom” ring and the blue glass tint are kinda disappointing - this is supposed to be a mid tier (not budget) optic and is priced accordingly.
I think I would choose this 515 over a Eotech. It has a lot going for it that i really liked. The only thing that i would change is to move the power buttons to the left hand side. Its a good size, has a near exact reticle, insane battery life, feels extremely well built, the caps work well, can adjust the height of it, and the quick release mount is excellent. All for usually under $300.

Would love to see the Romeo 5 Predator version. It’s hard to tell if the predator reticle is useful or just a gimmick

I get the red glare on my Aimpoint Comp M5b, so maybe it's a design issue as both the 515 and Comp M5 have bottom emitters?

so the reticle washes out with white light or is that just on camera?
The camera couldn't keep up with the bright light against a dark sky. The glass of the red dot holds its own against lens flare.
