Thanks so much for this. The included mount for the NT1 is so big and heavy, it's ridiculous. Luckily these Boseen mounts are available in the UK too, although they're more expensive at the equivalent of 22 US dollars. Still, not too high a price to pay to ditch the megamount.

That's a bummer they cost more but it's probably still worth it if I put the original shock mount or this little shock mount on a boom arm and I tap on the desk and the boom arm I hear a lot more unwanted with the original shock mount so I feel like the bossen does a better job and it's not some big monsters so it's kind of a win-win situation, that does suck at cost more money but at least that's not a huge amount of money, I really love these little shock mounts Kim I actually have two of these and I have one of their bigger shock mounts that's about the same size as the original one but it's lightweight, I used to use that for my big giant heavy condenser and that shock not dead awesome so I really like that company shock mounts, they have a couple different styles but these little ones are super awesome

I bought this microphone, and I lost one of the screws for the pot filter. I’m gonna buy this shock mount you advised and yeah, it looks much better. Just a question, do you have any advice for pop filter? I still have the pop filter it came with it but i lost the screw, so it can't hold itself.

I think just about anybody would really like that little shock mount now as far as pop filters goes I've always heart had a hard time finding one I liked, a lot of times the goose next two short to fit on your boom arm properly or who knows what cell it's always a pain trying to find one with the right length gooseneck but if you want to save a few bucks go out and buy some of that aquarium fish filter and some craft wire and then you just wrap the wire around the microphone, cut the fish filter the size you want and then attach it to the craft wire I mean it looks like crap so if you're on camera I wouldn't suggest it but those $150 or $120 hacking pop filters that's all they are is fish aquarium filter, proar makes a version of that on Amazon for about 20 bucks but the gooseneck is not quite as nice as the name brand one but it's just aquarium filter. If you want a metal pot filter the Stedman SP101 is really cool but kind of expensive, I think Gator frameworks makes a cheaper version of that, if you want a more traditional pop filter the sure popper stopper is pretty nice but personally I don't use pop filters unless the microphone is really prone to plosives. But with proper microphone placement and technique you shouldn't need one on most microphones also if you put your hand about 3 in in front of your mouth just keep saying the word Peter over and kind of pay attention to how much air is heading your hand and kind of change the way you're saying it and once you notice hey there's hardly any air hitting my hand if you can say your pees in that manner you won't have as much of a problem, especially with good technique and Mike placement but I've just always had a hard time finding pop filters that fit properly but some craft wire and fish aquarium foam is normally what I use, I did buy one of those proar brands and it's quite nice but I wish the gooseneck would have been a little longer
