  • We continue onto Ausländer. the fourth song from the Untitled album. Rammstein are knocking my socks off so far and this keeps along that trend.

This album is an album of Rammstein sounding really refined and grown up (coming of age). and the video's are just masterfulness of telling a story visually for non- German speaker's.👍♥️

19:56 I think you guys might have a not quite accurate translation there. "Das mann Sprachen lernen muss" translates to "that one has to learn languages", which can refer to the other aswell as to the lyrical I.
In the verses there's specific mention of "Auslaenderinnen", which is the German female form of "Auslaender". Giving the whole song and lyrics a sexual undertone.

    Hello.
This is a humorous song, but the laugh kind of get stuck in your throat.
Because it's a light summer hit, the lyrics contradicts to that light feeling. So typical of Rammstein.
Germany was a little late when it came to colonialism and it was never really a national project (probably others were quicker 😉). As far as I know, three countries were colonized and robbed by us. The colonial era ended in 1918.
I like the song, but I almost never listen to it. I honestly don't know why.😂
    With love from Germany ❤🤘🏻
