Hahaha…good video, love family shoots, enjoy the kids as they grow quickly! I was going to buy the Neovista but ended up buying the Wave Runner 2 from Mizuno and love them!
Man im really inspired by your running videos. Iv been a runner for 15 years focusing purely on 5 and 10 km only. But since tuning in to your channel of the past 5-6 months iv taken my running to enother level of half marathon distance to 15 milers and will go more distance in short time...and i thank you for that....But just take a day of from running to charge your system up...
I like this shoe. Just recently got it and it’s growing on me more and more. I use it basically for recovery and just daily miles. Not the fast or long stuff but I’ve really enjoyed it.
I love my Neo Vistas - I also like the GlideRide Max, though not as much, but I use them only for easy/recovery/warmup runs, and I run on grass and/or dirt.
Dude it's wild. That's what happens when you have 15+ years of base building and competitive experience. I learned recently that Conner mantz ran a 1:11 half when he was something like 11 years old
I was literally thinking about this shoe the other day! Been getting some miles in the GlideRide Max and while its definitely a bulkier/heavier shoe in comparison, the overall experience was very reminiscent of the Neo Vista. Both good shoes for some easy cruising, with some pep with pace pick up, but largely uninspiring for me beyond that. Would love to see your thoughts in a comparison of the two as well! Thanks for the update! 🙌
I do feel a pretty nice bounce off this shoe and it does roll me forward. I have different mechanics and a much lighter foot strike than you though. DOR did a whole podcast on how different runners could have wildly different experiences from the same shoe. I will probably be putting more miles in the Neo Vista now that I have over 300 miles in the SL2 and I'm trying to extend its life until the EVO SL is released. I'm also curious how long that soft outsole will last; at 150 miles it's showing a decent amount of wear.
Hey Yowana - I would benefit from an "If you loved this...then you'll love..." i have > 700 miles on two pairs of SC Trainer 2s and I want a Plated, Rockered, Soft, Recovery/Long Shoe for slow days of 8-10 miles. I have > 900 miles on three pairs of Bostons and I want a plated firmer yet protective fast shoe for 8-10 miles of daily running with 4 miles of marathon pace included. Ya get me?
For sc trainer replacement id go glideride max or glycerin max - glideride is plated and feels lighter on foot. Glycerin max isn't plated but it doesn't need it - if you want the most comfortable shoe this is the one I'd go for. As for Boston replacement either the hoka Mach x2 or brooks Hyperion max 2. Hoka if you want more bounce and don't care as much about a comfortable upper and the brooks if you want a firmer ride with a better upper
Honestly i feel the invincible 3 is miles above every other max cushion shoe on the market especially the glycerin max which just felt meh after wearing both back to back
@ No kidding hmmm! I love my vistas in within the return window. Issues I have is, heel slip, and to fix it I have to cinch it down a lot then I get pressure on the top of my foot from laces.
The shoe is just another nuh everyday shoe..the vast majority of running shoes fit in that category..heavy-hot-flat-dull boring-no bounce-no roll-no comfort..almost all of them can take you for a spin around the block or park..it's not until you start getting up around 9-10mi when all it's poor qualities show up..that's probably why most running shoes are made for the 3-7ish miles..with the fabrics and foams available today making a GOOD shoe shouldn't be that difficult..putting gimmicks in the build almost never works successfully..have a great Halloween 🎉🎉🎉

The 61 mm max stack zebra pillow case on feet mafia is in the chat.
🏃 🦓 💨
Neo Vista is badass!!! Nice squidge for slow runs and has a bit of pop when you pick it up. Throw it on no worries, dont have to think about it

Ayy it's awesome to hear that! Thanks for sharing. And I took today off - 8 miles only 😉

Running in hooper shoes let’s go!

I've seen some elites running 06:20 at 120-130 HR. It's very relaxed for them which is insane to me.

I own both - to me the Glideride Max is a lite version of the Neo Vista - a little firmer, a little less cushioned, and less bouncy, but similar.

You should dress up as Connor Mantz or Clayton Young or Eliot Kipchoge for Halloween....
11:16 - 11:25 👏🗣️
Shout out to the Dad Shoe-tubers, Yowana and Matt not CCP
Neo vista or Mach x 2 if you could only have one shoe
Mach X2 without a question. It's bouncier, more resilient and faster
@ No kidding hmmm! I love my vistas in within the return window. Issues I have is, heel slip, and to fix it I have to cinch it down a lot then I get pressure on the top of my foot from laces.
If you value the your heels I'd go with the Neo Vista. I had both and the X2s sawed a hole in my heel in under 3 miles along with multiple blisters...
I wear padded socks (Feetures low cut usually with the Achilles tab) and have no issues across 50+ miles in the Mach x2
@@supwell I’m not a fast runner, not sure I’d benefit with the Hoka. My fast pace is 7:45-8
The crust looks like it's not baked yet. Maybe it done rare, not well.
