Hey, regarding Judy Romance Messages Extended we had to hide it for the time being just to avoid the problems for users. We've been notified there are some problems with messages not showing up properly (even those from the base game). We're trying to identify what's causing the problems.

to be fair thats usually how most games go. Theres only so much of a script that can be written and voice acted, and youre gonna run out eventually. I like what they added with the texts in 1.5, it expanded the content a bit without requiring more voice acting, and this expands on that.

While Geralt was separated from him beloved for much of the remaining game, there were numerous changes and additions later in the story, including swearing by them in the tournament, your lover moving in at the end, and changes to the story surrounding both battles. Not to mention the double-romance dump possibility. For the same developer, it's a downgrade in one of the things they did exceptionally well. I think there should have been a way for all of your lovers to accompany you in the final battle, not just the Aldecados. Bring Judy and the Mox, River and the straight cops, or Kerry and his rockers.
For the record, all of the romance enhancement mods exist for everyone, including Kerry. I'm unsure about the text enhancers, but the romance enhanced and stay at your house exist for all four
since these are mods, just mod the character to be romanceable. It's not "scandalous" as some might make it out to be. Kerry was married to a woman for years and had a family, he even shows V/Johnny a picture...seems people forget the actual game story with all these horny mods, or just skipped all dialogues in speed run see their waifu dress up doll nekkid with Judy 🙄@@lucciadelmoira1487

there was a patch included that made the curtains blacked out for some privacy but 2.0 broke the mod lol but still better than bathing in a bucket 😅 even in today's age, we have RV's with indoor showers
Normally I’d agree but this is the type of game where a fresh play through will be much more fulfilling if you earn your stuff along the way, if you started out a cyberware god off the bat the game would probably get boring there wouldn’t be a challenge at early levels plus with fresh play throughs you’ll learn and discover stuff you didn’t before.
I was talking about this with my friend the other day. I think I recall them giving the reasoning that it wouldn't quite work with the story beats at the beginning in respects to life paths, but I think it just opens up the opportunity to create more unique ones. Like maybe when you new game + you keep all your gear and cyberware and an explanation/life path option could be that you were a merc elsewhere and wanted to make it big like the mercs of legend from Night City. Or maybe you were a Veteran of a conflict and got relocated to Night city after a Corp forced you off your land. I know they can pull stuff like this off, and I think it would be great so that you can try different dialog options with your now leveled stats or introduce new dialog options based off the new game + path you picked. They probably won't which makes me sad as I'm on console so mods can't save me, but a man can dream.
I just finished my second playthrough of Cyberpunk since it released, and it really is one of the best games ever made. I'm glad it finally received its due.
I just finished my playthrough with the Judy Mod installed and I have ot admit, the fact she started refering to you as Val I thought was the sweetest thing. I loved that little touch in that mod.
I'm currently playing Cyberpunk 2077 unmodded, 170 hours in, first time playing it, and with the DLC. I thoroughly intend to mod the heck out of it for my next playthrough!
There are some mods that are nice without huge impact on the game. I have a mod that puts the real vendor names on the map. Instead of a glass icon that just says "Bar" it will actually tell you what bar it is. Another one I have removes the dark edge of the screen when you crouch. Another mod I have change at what speed time passes in the game. There is many options but I went for real time. 1 real minute is 1 minute in the game. To change time I just use the wait or sleep. Just tiny quality of life improvement that I like better.
be careful of what mods you pick. there's literally mods for almost everything, from changing what weapons you can buy to the overhaul mods like these romance ones. you want futuristic flying cars? or a tram system that lets you look around while traveling (aka not instant tp between places)? or maybe you want a terminator as a companion? or just different clothes and/or colors? or maybe new cars? or the ability to upgrade and fine tune them? yea, there's mods for all of that. i got to the point where my mods took up as much space as the game itself.

Note, that the Judy Messages mod has been set to Hidden, and is unavailable. Another user name put the Panem version up. And there is a combined Messages mod now out there that has messages for all the main characters and romanceable ones.
I think it’s in a collection on nexus. I’m pretty sure I have it. Can’t remember what it’s called off hand but the picture has a cardboard sign saying “my wife and kid were abducted by aliens”
Great to see the immersion centred mods are starting to come through now. Hopefully now the mods can settle and build without the danger of all those updates breaking them. I've been holding off modding the game for a while now but it feels like a good time to (carefully) start modding again. These enhanced relationship mods are excellent already and will only get better and more expansive. Great work modders.

I don't have any of the Panam mods installed but I think the part telling her about the FIA is part of the game now. I was able to do that and only have a few Judy romance mods installed.

Fully agree, but I'd settle for the bug fixes that modders have posted that STILL aren't fixed in 2.02 CDPR should post 'mod' fixes on nexus unofficially before a full game patch, there are more 'free qa testers' there than the entirety of their staff, we've already seen how poorly their QA team is, even outsourced...it's like they don't have time to play the game, literally their job

Imagine this: You can take your partner out to missions, have them help you out. Depending on situations (where you order them to go, like using the eye scanning and pressing L3 on PS5 to command where to enter cover; weapons they used; how quickly you help them up or not; enemy encounters; etc.), your partner can have slightly different conversations with you at the bar. They'll comment performance and such in the car. Romances in games can be so much more immersive and meaningful in even gameplay. Sleeping at home bonus vs sleeping at home vs sleeping at their home; letting them use their favorite weapons; etc.
like how this video came out today yet the first mod i go to check out (Judy Romance Messages Extended) was listed as private 2 days ago because the author pulled it as the mod doesn't work with the current version of the game. the Dance Off and NC Interactions look great though! "Romanced Enhanced" and "I Really Want To Stay At Your House" for both Judy and Panam were great additions to the game.
I was hoping the first few text ones were compatible with Phone Messages Overhaul :( Also Deceptious' mods are really great, glad to hear there's a new one on the way.
I always felt cyberpunk was missing interaction with other characters. I would love to see more of Jackie before the heist, maybe as a companion or something with some dialogue. The romances are interesting but I wish there was more and I doubt I’ll ever be 100% satisfied but maybe a wedding and some different endgame dialogue from your spouse.
I felt like if you were corpo hanako should have bin a romance option and make judy for street punk and panam for nomad and being able to marry hanako and take over arasaka and being able to save yourself and give johnny a robot body and also jackie
TBH, I wish there was a cyberpunk game just like this, but without the overarching, pre-determined narrative that pushes you to the end. I want an open-ended game world where you can do gigs and just live in the world without pressure by the devs to get to some pre-planned ending.
You might be interested in Nivalis, from the developers of Cloudpunk. It is sort of more like a life sim in a Cyberpunk setting Another game like this is Shadows of Doubt

They should make these official content at least with the main romance options. Since we are not getting anymore expansions, CDPR should focus on adding more QoL changes and additions like what these mods have done. And its not like they haven't done so before.

I love this video. Subscribed do to it. Feel like the modding community has helped so much. We need a few things. 1) Panam positive ending to the new ending that ending was unacceptable. 2) Romance whenever they’re your partner after all. 3) More in person conversation at least a how are you? With the romance immediately prompting a few different replies “Today we worked on our cars” “played pranks on Saul” etc. 4) Rivers sister - Let us romance her making those questions she asks a lot less awkward if you’re just trying to be friends with River.
WOW!!!! Some are better than others but the Judy (and Panam) better NPC at home and visiting mods are Extremely good ideas. Even the extended text mods.
I modded version 1.63 like crazy. Now with 2.0 I only did basic stuff that runs well. Shows how much of a comeback Cyberpunk made from disapointing millions during a pandemic to being a solid RGP that makes titles like Starfield look like they from the stone age :) Iam a simple guy, I will romance Judy again this playthrough :)
The base/vanilla romance options is the one thing I feel as though CDPR didn't pay attention to with 2.0. So many complaints were addressed, most of the best mods out there got added to the game in some way, but they just fell short with the romances. With Judy and Panam being gender specific and River being (sorry) lame and boring, and Kerry coming so close to the end of the game, the replay options are pretty limited. As a Mox and how she is written, it's hard to see Judy as anything but lesbian, but Panam certainly seems like she could swing either way. ANY of the new main characters in Phantom Liberty would have been great romance options as well. These mods are all pretty great additions to expand things out.
god bless mods. I sincerely hope that the move to unreal engine doesn't hinder modder's ability to create. hard to argue that this game wouldn't be as good without them. still, i guess we'll just have to cross that bridge when we get there...
yeah I think i meant to say desire not ability. Though I totally agree that in contrast unreal is a much easier engine to manipulate, begs the question why the top modded games from proprietary engines like Creation Engine & RED Engine? IDK, but it's interesting to think about anyway @@edenassos
Them useing there real name instead of just V is a great way of adding to the romace. The only people i know that Calls v by her real name in game is Johnny when if youve met the right requirements he forgives you for and wishes you the bes and calls V Valerie. Only other thime is the chick from clouds and v tells her only people that she loves of something call me that.
you know what i want modded in dates like actually calling or texting a romance option setting a date and time and picking them up the whole thing i think it would add a bit more life to the game

fr some of the stuff in vanilla PL frustrated me just from the fact male V wasn't able to tell her anything with the ending of it feeling like a middle finger (not going to spoil it) with some unrealistic reactions, im glad the mods addresses some of these issues. also props to all the modders making versions for both characters, that takes alot of time and dedication
I wish mods were on console 😢 I’ve just completed my first playthrough of the game and the DLC, but I did find the romance options kind of pointless other than Panam, but if it was more fleshed out like this it would have been great
The reason i became friends with my best friend in school days was because I was the only one calling him Richard not Richie. He liked being called by his name more than the nick. Regarding to Judy calling V Valerie.
Oh God.... what was that game from the Commodore 64 days... it was kinda proto cyberpunk and you had to learn to dance successfully to romance NPCs.... I only remember because of all the loading and reloading of 5.25 floppies as I moved through zones.

(I actually discovered on my last play through that you could run into Sandra Dorsett again) idk if it’s because of bugs or what but I think it’s wild I am still finding stuff! CDPR is so dope
I wish CDPR would create mod DLC packs for PS5 for a small price (the same mods that are on PC but bundle a few mode in a pack). This way we can buy the mods we want. We get the cool mods we want. CDPR gets paid. Everyone wins! This would be ideal for the holidays. But even if it has to wait for next year i personally would really love for CDPR to start releasing purchasable DLC mod packs on PS5. That would be beyond awesome.
I was really confused when you get the call from Alex to come talk with her at the bar and shes acting all flirty and you can dance with her and all seems like it is leading to a romance option when shes just like ok see you later.
So many times in this game I ask myself if there is cut content around this. Game is good but would have been so much better with another year or two in the oven.
I just played that part yesterday for the first time and was fully expecting Alex to hit on me. Prepared myself to refuse her since my V is faithful to Judy, but then nothing happened and I really wasn't sure if I was reading too much into it. Glad to see it wasn't just me.
They should really add the option to CALL or txt the people you want to go dancing or drinking with before going, and asking them if they wanna go out. Instead of just showing up and saying, "drink with Judy".

i usually don't care about romances in videogames, but judy's romance felt so real and engaging that i loved every second of it. even with all the limitations that the game has, all the texts that she sends you after you become a couple are really cute. too bad i play on ps5, these mods look really nice.
I installed the "I really want to stay at your house - Judy" mod, but despite following instructions and installing all the other requisite mods, she has never called me 😢
I dno if I like the valerie/vincent thing, V is ME, it's a good placeholder name. Just like u can choose a first name in dragon age 2, but ur second name is hawke. That'd take me out my char being called that, as to me, it's just an alias.
I'm not gonna lie, adding this mod into the game just feels like your setting yourself up with more depression after every ending. Especially the one with the coma...Even without this mod, im still cryin over Judy.

My biggest issue with romance in cyberpunk was that it felt like there is nothing you can do beyond the initial romance

One of the cool things about Phantom Liberty is if you romance Kerry you and him already text back and forth about missions and such.

The romances are interesting but I wish there was more and I doubt I’ll ever be 100% satisfied but maybe a wedding and some different endgame dialogue from your spouse.
I felt like if you were corpo hanako should have bin a romance option and make judy for street punk and panam for nomad and being able to marry hanako and take over arasaka and being able to save yourself and give johnny a robot body and also jackie

TBH, I wish there was a cyberpunk game just like this, but without the overarching, pre-determined narrative that pushes you to the end. I want an open-ended game world where you can do gigs and just live in the world without pressure by the devs to get to some pre-planned ending.
I honestly wish I could just play as V and not a vessel for Johnny. I don't care about his storyline.

@@bandit6272yeah, but think of how GRA or RDE is. Sure. You can do the story, but there is no pressure to like Cyberpunk because there is no timeline for the cgaracters
They should make these official content at least with the main romance options. Since we are not getting anymore expansions, CDPR should focus on adding more QoL changes and additions like what these mods have done. And its not like they haven't done so before.
They're sort of open sourcing the red engine soon to the public.

CDPR needs to pay these modders to incorporate these mods into the base game IMHO.
It’s crazy that GTA IV (from 2008) had hang outs where you could call people up and hang out… I still remember Roman calling, “Cousin! Let’s go bowling.”

We need a few things.
1) Panam positive ending to the new ending that ending was unacceptable.
2) Romance whenever they’re your partner after all.
3) More in person conversation at least a how are you? With the romance immediately prompting a few different replies “Today we worked on our cars” “played pranks on Saul” etc.
4) Rivers sister - Let us romance her making those questions she asks a lot less awkward if you’re just trying to be friends with River.
Makes the ending all the more harder when you get the messages about Judy and Panam

WOW!!!! Some are better than others but the Judy (and Panam) better NPC at home and visiting mods are Extremely good ideas. Even the extended text mods.
I wish the romance texts were in the game to start with. I know it was rushed, but it would've also been nice if they added it later.
Cyberpunk was released 2 years too early.
I modded version 1.63 like crazy. Now with 2.0 I only did basic stuff that runs well. Shows how much of a comeback Cyberpunk made from disapointing millions during a pandemic to being a solid RGP that makes titles like Starfield look like they from the stone age :)

The base/vanilla romance options is the one thing I feel as though CDPR didn't pay attention to with 2.0. So many complaints were addressed, most of the best mods out there got added to the game in some way, but they just fell short with the romances. With Judy and Panam being gender specific and River being (sorry) lame and boring, and Kerry coming so close to the end of the game, the replay options are pretty limited. As a Mox and how she is written, it's hard to see Judy as anything but lesbian, but Panam certainly seems like she could swing either way. ANY of the new main characters in Phantom Liberty would have been great romance options as well. These mods are all pretty great additions to expand things out.

Them useing there real name instead of just V is a great way of adding to the romace. The only people i know that Calls v by her real name in game is Johnny when if youve met the right requirements he forgives you for and wishes you the bes and calls V Valerie.
Only other thime is the chick from clouds and v tells her only people that she loves of something call me that.

fr some of the stuff in vanilla PL frustrated me just from the fact male V wasn't able to tell her anything with the ending of it feeling like a middle finger (not going to spoil it) with some unrealistic reactions, im glad the mods addresses some of these issues. also props to all the modders making versions for both characters, that takes alot of time and dedication

The reason i became friends with my best friend in school days was because I was the only one calling him Richard not Richie. He liked being called by his name more than the nick. Regarding to Judy calling V Valerie.

Oh God.... what was that game from the Commodore 64 days... it was kinda proto cyberpunk and you had to learn to dance successfully to romance NPCs.... I only remember because of all the loading and reloading of 5.25 floppies as I moved through zones.

(I actually discovered on my last play through that you could run into Sandra Dorsett again) idk if it’s because of bugs or what but I think it’s wild I am still finding stuff! CDPR is so dope

I was really confused when you get the call from Alex to come talk with her at the bar and shes acting all flirty and you can dance with her and all seems like it is leading to a romance option when shes just like ok see you later.
So many times in this game I ask myself if there is cut content around this. Game is good but would have been so much better with another year or two in the oven.
I just played that part yesterday for the first time and was fully expecting Alex to hit on me. Prepared myself to refuse her since my V is faithful to Judy, but then nothing happened and I really wasn't sure if I was reading too much into it. Glad to see it wasn't just me.
I want mod where we can fully custom the appearance of the romance we choose, i want to change the hair and facial, as official feature not mods
and now i really want to stay at your house was integrated into the game
They should really add the option to CALL or txt the people you want to go dancing or drinking with before going, and asking them if they wanna go out. Instead of just showing up and saying, "drink with Judy".

i usually don't care about romances in videogames, but judy's romance felt so real and engaging that i loved every second of it. even with all the limitations that the game has, all the texts that she sends you after you become a couple are really cute. too bad i play on ps5, these mods look really nice.

V kinda was never your character tbh, the path in the story is pretty predetermined and your choices barely alter what happens

I'm not gonna lie, adding this mod into the game just feels like your setting yourself up with more depression after every ending. Especially the one with the coma...Even without this mod, im still cryin over Judy.
