Villagers certainly aren't humans in Minecraft. They don't look like the player, and we can't understand them. Their behavior is very simple. Zombies look exactly like Steve but they are all dead. Steve is the only human alive, struggling for survival all alone... this song fits the lonely theme of Minecraft perfectly. Lost one of my best friends in a car accident yesterday. He was a Minecraft pro when it came to builds. This song will always connect me with him and the memories we share
As a player who started in 2011, I was disappointed by the fact that so many people overlooked the creative soundtrack. It makes me so happy that people are starting to find out that the creative tracks are just as good as the survival tracks.

I know what you mean. I get a sense of nostalgia with a lot of classic Minecraft music, but also loneliness and a feeling of emptiness. Considering that the music was designed for a game where you are essentially a speck of dust in an endless sandbox, the music does its job. A little too we’ll if you ask me 😅

I'm actually kinda glad it only plays in creative mode. The memories that come back to me when I listen to this remind me of my superflat worlds, and the opposite is also true for survival worlds.
This is why Minecraft discs should have base game music drops as well. Cause like how many times are you gonna be in creative just listening to the music. Especially if you play on a server, unless it has a world specific for creative. Like say a creeper is killed by a skeleton and it drops Sweden. That would be awesome to play on demand in game.
I always use a resource pack that adds the creative music to survival. I like that the modes have different soundtracks, but I basically never play creative so it's nice to still be able to hear the tracks in survival.

When I first heard this in creative mode, I told my friends over Skype that this thing was playing, and for the full duration I just sat there and told them how unbelievably good this track was. Still remember it like it was yesterday, and this track has always felt connected to floating islands because that's what I was doing at that time.
My connection is that of a cottage on a cliff overlooking the ocean, ice spires in the distance. I had an elevator heading down towards a dock, with a sailboat I just built. That world had lore I made up on my own. It was a world rich in stories, of the scars of the past, of the peace of the present, and hopes of a brighter future. Every time this song plays, I remember looking out the window of my bedroom, watching the sunset, knowing the next day would be just as beautiful as the last. Life was good. That world is gone now.
C418 is a genius. I feel this almost... Godly? sense with his music. Am I looking too much into this? Maybe. But does anyone else feel what I'm talking about? It's like the heavens themselves talk through his music.
I know what you mean. To me it's the excitement and nervousness of discovery, the feeling of completion after doing something important, not knowing what's gonna happen next even if you think you can predict it, all the while making you want to push farther and farther just to see what's next. To me, it's life cheering us on through the existential dread of possibilities
I remember downloading these huge expansive worlds people had made and just flying through them exploring what all they had offered, seeing the insane amounts of detail they put in with this song in the background. Pretty sweet.
Yeah....I hate that Microsoft pushed him away....by telling him he doesn't own any of the songs he makes for Minecraft... it's ridiculous.... It's stupid.... It's painful
This track and Blind Spots are my 2 favorite creative tracks. Though there are a few others... Sweden is, of course, Sweden. And the Nether music is fire, obviously. Both C418 and Lena did great with those ...And for some reason, I really like "The End". It's more calming than creepy to me, idk why
I feel a strange sensation when I hear this song; it's a divine feeling but extremely sad. I remember old moments when I used to play Minecraft, creating a world and inviting my siblings to build a house together. Unfortunately, the last time we played together was nine years ago.
This is 100% my favorite of the Minecraft songs. Such a deep nostalgia, for the lost glory days and simpler times, simultaneously melancholic yet uplifting. You really get that feeling of losing yourself in an infinite, empty world. C418 is a musical genius.
no matter how many times i hear this song it still feels nostalgic, the new Minecraft just isn't the same. But dont be sad its over be happy it happened and we had the chance to make those memories.
@@ThatNerdAlbert most games you can’t judge on the community, Minecraft is a good game but then little kids got ahold of it. Games like Fortnite however you can, because the game made them that way.
@@m4_sherman most OGs were kids when the game went out. I still remember asking my grandparents to get me the game, to be able to play on their laptop.. Now my grandpa is gone, I miss him so much. Don't be harsh with "little kids" they're not responsible for our sourness. They deserve to build the memories that we once built ourselves.
I just came out of Space Engine VR with this playing in the background in a loop. Its has been 4 hours. I'll now proceed to sleep my existential crisis away.
I just unlocked a million memories and I just can't go in to detail the amount of pure nostalgia playing this game offline on an Xbox 360 coming home from school in 3rd grade brought a tear to my eye
Wish my Xbox 360 wasn’t broken. I rlly miss playing old Minecraft. Not saying new MC is bad, but there’s just something about the old versions that’s so special to me. Listening to MC music brings back so many memories lol
There aren’t a lot of songs that can only through their music convey loneliness and expanse of world like this song. One of my few other examples would maybe be one of Gilmour’s later Pink Floyd pieces like Marooned or the later parts of high hopes. But this one captures it in its own way with the blocky tones almost feel like they’re played from a note block. And it’s amazing. A real piece of art
C418's soundtrack is a masterpiece that will bring a tear to even the toughest man's eyes. It reminds you of the good times that are gone forever, but also gives you hope for the future 🥲
This was the first song i ever listened to. It was a warm night of summer 2015. Me and my two cousins were playing my first world on my ps4..... This was playing, and its now a memory inside me....sadly in 2021 the world got corrupted.... But i still have old photos of that house......God, time really flies..
I had the PS4 version, but then due to a choice I love and hate, we moved to bedrock. The survival world I played on for years with my brother, gone. My first Minecraft world was a tower of bricks with sponges inside, and zombies. Both of these were corrupted. However, since the transition, we have created a new world. And this time, it ain’t corrupting. I love Minecraft man
I remember growing up, playing minecraft on my ps3, and hearing this soundtrack everytime I play the game. This is easily the best C418 soundtrack for minecraft in my opinion.
Beeing lonely, yet feeling connected to every living beeing thats living right now, has ever lived or will ever be created out of an never ending influx of atoms, forming into cells ending up deteriorated in a pile of dead flesh, converted into dust and repeating the cycle. All with the origin of stardust giving us the parcticles to live and our star the energy to create that live. The endless creativity of nature and all of the universe, beeing wrapped in a wonderfull yet cruel reality of precicely calculatable events and undescribable random subatomic particles, working all in perfect harmony. All that and much more are the emotions that this song in particular can evoke. Beeing aware of our existence and feeling it in an intense way and yet not having to worry. Timeless music and a wonderfull expression of art and the skill of C418. Thank you
this shit would make me cry and laugh at the same damn time while im mining sand on the beach or swimming around the ocean this has got to be the best song ive ever heard
This brings me back to 2014, playing Minecraft on the Xbox 360. Just created a huge mob arena in creative, ready to invite my friends after dinner in the evening. I'm glad my latter childhood was from 2010 to 2015. Games were way more diverse than the mush of needlessly competitive games most kids are experiencing in their early teens now. But at least one thing is consistent for all of us: We've all played Minecraft. And Skyrim too :)
The days…, where you played on your dads phone, with your sister on the wii, it was just a timeless memory, this song always remembers me of that time. Just a masterpiece to listen to

Sweden is, of course, Sweden. And the Nether music is fire, obviously. Both C418 and Lena did great with those
...And for some reason, I really like "The End". It's more calming than creepy to me, idk why
The corrupting in "The End" is magnificent.
"The End" is really underrated, literally fits the thema of the end dimension perfectly
haggstrom, mice on venus, and this for me
The End is just Alpha but 100x better
I really like the desolation feel of both the end and nether, and their music really amplify this feeling
man the bass part is perfect 0:28
Signature look of superiority
That’s kind of a hot take, considering Minecraft’s most recent update, in my opinion, was the best it had ever seen (cave update)
@@m4_sherman yeah minecraft's updates been getting quite awesome
the community though, devolved into what it was in 2015~
@@ThatNerdAlbert most games you can’t judge on the community, Minecraft is a good game but then little kids got ahold of it.
@@naumen6508 little kids are responsible, however, for the dwindling reputation of the minecraft community.
it has been 2 years
I still feel this song is so sick
Эээ прекрасная песня
Im crying right now 😢
I just came out of Space Engine VR with this playing in the background in a loop. Its has been 4 hours. I'll now proceed to sleep my existential crisis away.
Are you ok?
@@kingpiplup5258 no, no one is okay
I just unlocked a million memories and I just can't go in to detail the amount of pure nostalgia playing this game offline on an Xbox 360 coming home from school in 3rd grade brought a tear to my eye
This part makes me feel nostalgic for something i never experienced.
Thats crazy me too experience the same thing
Wish my Xbox 360 wasn’t broken. I rlly miss playing old Minecraft. Not saying new MC is bad, but there’s just something about the old versions that’s so special to me. Listening to MC music brings back so many memories lol
:(
You can download the music pack
@@CuppysCupcakeland ik, ik. I just want to re-experience it and play it again. Which i cant do on my Xbox one because I don’t have the OG disk lol
what makes it better is "nostalgic"
First version wasn't 360 tough. Just buy the PC version and change versions lol.
I have not heard in 10 years...thank you
ngl never realized how cool this song was until I heard it outside the game
C418's soundtrack is a masterpiece that will bring a tear to even the toughest man's eyes. It reminds you of the good times that are gone forever, but also gives you hope for the future 🥲
SO IM NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT LOVED THIS TRACK… brings back so many memories
This was the first song i ever listened to. It was a warm night of summer 2015. Me and my two cousins were playing my first world on my ps4..... This was playing, and its now a memory inside me....sadly in 2021 the world got corrupted.... But i still have old photos of that house......God, time really flies..
Man same here
Edgy
I had the PS4 version, but then due to a choice I love and hate, we moved to bedrock. The survival world I played on for years with my brother, gone. My first Minecraft world was a tower of bricks with sponges inside, and zombies. Both of these were corrupted. However, since the transition, we have created a new world. And this time, it ain’t corrupting. I love Minecraft man
@@LauLessPariah whats so edgy, stop with the gang banging and the bandwagoning, they’re like you
@@LauLessPariah This is why we can't have nice things
The most calmest music ever😊

I remember growing up, playing minecraft on my ps3, and hearing this soundtrack everytime I play the game. This is easily the best C418 soundtrack for minecraft in my opinion.
Same. Its one of the rare games where my brothers and i sat together in front of the ps3 to play and this song brings back these memories
Not an opinion. Just a fact
Thank you
Microsoft removing c418 was their biggest L
I hate Microsoft, I'll probably get hate for this, but in my opinion the new songs don't even come close

this shit would make me cry and laugh at the same damn time while im mining sand on the beach or swimming around the ocean this has got to be the best song ive ever heard
Notch: this game will be remembered for generations to come, play your heart out.
C418:
Thank you for the best memories.
hits harder than the silly block game comments
This song makes me cry and even give back so much locked memories since 10 years ago 😭
This music makes me see flashback's that never happened
C418 is an amazing musician and his music is one of the few things I find genuinely relaxing.
Notch:es solo un jueguito de cubos no hagas algo tan epico c418:
this is the one song in minecraft that i've been looking for for ages now
BRO same
This brings me back to 2014, playing Minecraft on the Xbox 360.
God probably listens this masterwork.
Man i get so much nostalgia
The first piano closeup syncs well with the music
The song that still sounds good when done in a different genre
Literally a masterpiece
Came here for the meme and i stay until the music ends
Aria math has simultaneously given me The feeling of longing for something and an immense amount of Hope
I listened to this for 7 hours, at night
The image of a man on the beach playing the Minecraft soundtrack on a piano on fire seems oddly fitting
All my creative memories are flooding back to my head. This song is beautiful.
Brings Me Back To 2013 The Release Of MC 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
this will blow up one day
💥
Right you were
God I had a nostalgic punch to the face while listening to this as the memories flooded back. What a soundtrack. What a game man.
The days…, where you played on your dads phone, with your sister on the wii, it was just a timeless memory, this song always remembers me of that time. Just a masterpiece to listen to
The effort C418 put in the soundtrack is huge. He made so many songs, yet we remember them all. I am forever grateful that he made this masterpiece
