@RaymondAtivie I didn't, sorry! I've since checked and the free accounts have stopped doing this offer, only 5 banks left that require you to sign up for their £3/£5 a month accounts, so I'm waiting for the free santander offer to come back!
the HSBC requirement does not seem to be a strict exclusion. Last time they ran the offer I applied and got the £175 even though technically I had opened an HSBC account so should have been disqualified from getting it.
This is why I’ve gone for the Virgin Money offer, I’m not eligible for any of these switch offers from the big banks, because I’ve had a switch from most of them in the last 18 months
So for example let's say i have monzo And a starling and barclays acc and let's say I want to switch my monzo to fd you would do a standing order from your monzo to barclays an starling even if its in your name
Can the switch reward offer be withdrawn before I complete the switch? I’ve opened the FD account, completed the requirements, applied for the switch and had that confirmed by the old bank, and I have a switch date. Can I miss out on the £175 or am I locked in to the offer?
Does the money have to be in for exactly 24 hours or can it be from 11.59pm (23.59pm) at night to send £1,000 back and forth from your old current account to First Direct bank at 00.01am the next day?
I hope more banks will release a switch offer soon!
Still waiting on Santander to payout .. longest yet
Mines coming in June 😂
same...
Me too
Same, feel like they’ll find a reason not to pay me now
Santander took 2 months for me
First direct rejected me last time with no reason why . No other bank has
There is always a reason. They just won't tell you.
Try again this time lol
It says you can't have had an IVA or bankruptcy in the last 6 years, but what about a DRO?
Could anybody confirm if the switch payment gets paid in without showing on the statement as an entry?
You didn't mention the one thing that worries me.. It says you have to close old account?
That’s what I want to know too. Did you find out?

Did you get an answer to this?
Does apple pay transaction considered as a debit card payment it I have added FD card to my apple wallet?
What do you mean by two separate places? Can it still be two of my own accounts?

When you say HSBC current account, does this include joint accounts?
Tsb are so bad, I wish I could switch to someone else like this, but its my oldest account :(
Can I switch from monzo to natwest?
It was 24hours last time
My account is being rejected ,is it because I’m an interns student because I fulfill all the other requirements
I opened a first direct less than a month ago. Am I still eligible?
Nice
Will this work with the chase dummy account? Just set one up along side my main chase account and set 2 x £1 standing orders
I used a chase dummy last time and set the standing orders for a future date into my other accounts and it worked

At least 24 hours, so 2 minutes won't cut it
@@stephen3654 How do you know exactly?
Come on, that's two minutes. The T's & C's clearly state 24 hours.
To much hassle tbh
*too
Id love to know how you are going to make £175 with 0 risk and less hassle?
@@dushanep only fans?
@@dushanep I made £200 by just opening a NatWest account and putting in a grand. Nothing else ... 🤨
