He apologized in front of the crowd even though he was embarrassed but Miss Colombia was the total opposite when she was embarrassed and cried instead of placing the crown on Pia's head and congratulating her. And this is also a lesson for Steve and a test for contestants to see if they are worthy of winning or even competing in Miss Universe, you could see how fake some contestants were, kinda glad this mistake happened.

I can understand Miss Colombia. She got the best happiness and it was very short term. It was so harsh for her, to control her emotions. And yet, those stupid crowds were laughing at her. It's Colombia and you're comparing two totally different situations. Miss Colombia experienced the nightmare for any of those girls to come true: she was humiliated in from of the whole world. The whole world saw how her illusions got crushed mercilessly. That Pia girl, only got stolen her «admiration». The admiration she would get for the rest of the year. It's like comparing a pain a poor person feels after having lost it all, and the «pain» someone feels for not getting enough attention after having won a thousand dollars. It's not the same.

What a humiliation. Philippines was robbed of her glory. Colombia's mistake overshadowed her victory and that is purely the unprofessionalism of Steve Harvey. I'm surprised he was called back to host Miss Universe for further years after what seems as a gross professional misconduct that publicly humiliated Colombia also. Colombia shouldn't have let the Miss Universe organisation off so easily. It's an American company they were prepared to dish out some sort of financial compensation. Instead, they were freed of the responsibility. Colombia has to deal with this humiliation for the rest of her life especially with social media reminders. Oh dear!

What a humiliation. Philippines was robbed of her glory. Colombia's mistake overshadowed her victory and that is purely the unprofessionalism of Steve Harvey. I'm surprised he was called back to host Miss Universe for further years after what seems as a gross professional misconduct that publicly humiliated Colombia also. Colombia shouldn't have let the Miss Universe organisation off so easily. It's an American company they were prepared to dish out some sort of financial compensation. Instead, they were freed of the responsibility. Colombia has to deal with this humiliation for the rest of her life especially with social media reminders. Oh dear!
