You bring a beautiful olde worlde charm and atmosphere to the world, like finding something most people have lost in today’s world. Makes me quite emotional for bygone era. Like remembering a beautiful dream. Thank you
The Green turns to gold and the warm amber glow of the Sun descends into the dark night, where the crackle of glowing embers in the hearth warm the heart and stir the memory's of the summer past and inspire the chill thoughts of winter, yet to come. A quiet time to watch a little girls imagination turn a simple box in to a home of fantasy and wonder. @@MudlarkingWithKitCaboodlers A little Lady I know will hopefully be very pleased with the addition to her Grandfathers Xmas shopping list, you inspire more than words :)
This is so lovely♡ I used to go on walks like this most every day. Always searching for tiny things. Now I haven't seen the outside for 10 years and will never again go for a walk. My heart breaks a little at that thought. It's hard to be tough all the time. Please keep these kind of videos coming. They help a lot ♡ I still try to make miniatures whenever I can sit up for a little bit. Even if I can't collect for them anymore💔 Thank you for the lovely video♡
We have to bless people like our lovely Kit and Caboodles for taking us on these amazing little adventures, I would love to sail around the world but probably never will, but through channels like this I can travel and see those things. I'm lucky enough to still do plenty of things but still thank the Lord for these super people who do so much work to take us with them.
This was so beautiful and touching. What joy you brought to us all. It literally brought tears thinking of the genuine love and care that went into your lovely little doll house 🏠💕.
All I could think of watching this lovely video is Sunny and other animals like him that were unloved and unwanted by their former owners and you found them and brought them back to life - lovingly crafting a beautiful forever home for them all. Bitsy, Norma, the little boy and the baby couldn't ask for a better home. The baby looked so comfy in its little crib. Just precious to watch. Thank you!
What a touching, beautiful video. I have daydreamed about how it would have been to live in older times and you have brought that to life. So sweet. Love all your brilliant creations as well. Thank you.
That was so, so cute! That little house that someone made all those years ago for their child you both bringing it back to life and making it wonderful! We just sat here going aww, awwww, awwwww, lol. Kate and Fleur's home for misfit dolls xx
How absolutely charming and I picked up the Borrowers flavour immediately. Such a lovely idea. Loving Kate's outfits, she looks like a doll herself, lovely to see young people enjoying traditional clothing and really pulling it off, much nicer than the awful modern stuff, you're a proper star Kate. Loving the channel so much, a place of peace and sanity in our crazy world.
Oh, ladies.... this was exquisite. Feel all warm and glowy after watching that. ☺️ Reminds me of when my four kids were little... we always built fairy houses in tree stumps wherever we went on holiday and where we lived on the West Coast of Scotland. Recently we went back to one of our old trees and found a miniature dolls teacup still there after all these years.. 🧡🍂🍁🌳☕️
You two made me happy and feel wonderful that you made a dolls room in a dolls house out of found objects. I used to do that when I was little and then I got a lot more stuff from people to add to the dolls house. My daughter has the house now and I miss it so much. I'm thinking that I will start a small one like when I was a child from all the collections I already have, just like you two. Bless your hearts for making me a child again at 73 years young. Susann
Love doing things like this but it’s been a long time. Doing it vicariously through you two. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Shipshewana Indiana , USA
Oh my😮😯, such ingenuity and vision 🙌🏻👍🏻👍🏻!!! You two lovely ladies took bits and bobs and whatcha majigy's and turn them into the most astonishing pieces of furniture and decor accessories. That was an absolutely fascinating video. thank you 🤗😊!!! Can't wait for the next installment of "This Old Dollhouse Revival"😉🤭. Love and kitty kisses to Sir Sunny 😻😽, and a big 👋 hello to Steve 🐟 and Tony 🐟. Stay safe precious family 😊🤗🤭😘🥰🙋🏼♀️.
Can't wait to see the top floor finished. Bedroom perhaps? A doll house full of history. Really beautiful. Name him Bernard. Love to you and Sunny cat. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Turning, history laden throwaways &, nature's baubles into fun fantasy, was entertaining to watch! The doll house so precious, made with love for, I'm sure, a very grateful little girl. Thanks for including me in all your fun!
I have been a dollhouse person for my entire life. I have my great dollhouse from age 10, and the original furniture. I am working on a dollhouse now. I love your show.
You've probably accepted a name for your lad, but Dustin Mudlark, Dusty for short, would be appropriate. Perhaps a future boy, rescued from the soil-filled areas you collect your foundlings, could bear that name. Your efforts in restoring light and life back to those who delighted past children is laudable. Enjoy it all, discovery, rehabilitation, and tiny home making. You are appreciated, by us AND by Them.
Omg that made me quite emotional thinking about a little girl once loving her little sugar box house.you brought it back to life and the music was perfect .it’s so beautiful 🥺🥺❤️
I just started watching your videos so I’m catching up on some older ones. I absolutely adore both of you and all you do! My mothers been gone 6 years but we used to love finding lil treasures on any lil outings we took. I never heard the term mud larking before but apparently it’s what we used to do together. We just called it treasure hunting lol. Your joy of finding the simplest things nature has to offer or the lost and broken treasures of yesterday gives my own soul as much joy as if I were still finding them with my mother. Your skills and imagination are incredible and so interesting to watch. I’m now absolutely addicted to watching your videos! I enjoy them so much thank you for sharing your adventures, treasure finds and craft making projects with me🥰
Seeing the design of light on the table from the button lamp base reminded me of one of those paraffin heaters that had a pierced top which made patterns on the ceiling, that would look cute in the dolls house bedroom at night. I’m pretty certain that you have the bits to do it. lol. Adored the miniature cabinet of curiosities.
It's hard to put into words the joy I get watching your videos! I'm always amazed at the talent you both have for re-creating things. To take a small piece that's been discarded and make it into something beautiful is indeed a wonderful talent! The doll house is absolutely lovely! I can't wait to see what you do with the upstairs. As far as the new young man of the house, I have to agree with several others as he reminds me of Oscar, such a handsome young man🙂 As always, thanks so much for taking us along on your adventures!💕

Brings new perspective to the kid waiting by the kitchen sink for the washing up liquid bottle to be finished with... going into the pantry and eyeing up a whole box of sugar, like 'that needs to be a dollshouse!'

That little terracotta jug a friend found one similar they were lucky back then as most of the kids found victorian bottles it was dated between 1st and 3rd century AD 😲 Making it over 2,000 years old. Never for one minute did I think it was Roman. The experts said it was a very lucky find 🤩

The heart breaks at the thought of someone, probably of very little means, making that dolls house with such an abundance of love for a child, who is probably now long since gone. The miniatures you made are beautiful. I really admire the way you put heart and soul into all you do, and the sense of wonder with which you view the world. To find the true beauty in the simplest of things is a blessing. For future reference, I have a strong suspicion that a Dremel with a thin cutting disc would have successfully halved your walnut shell.
