Shockworks have made an impressive bit of kit on the Lexcen. I've bookmarked their website. I hope you have fun at the meet. I had a smirk on my face when you used 3 fingers Scotty...... That's what she said! The Lexcen is still a sleeper regardless. It's like my '03 Holden VY S Series I ute with the optional LS1. People pull up next to it thinking that it just has a V6 until the lights go green & the LS1 comes to life! They pull up at the next set of lights saying that only the SS could have the V8! LS1's were optional across the range below the SS.
Scotty, the exhaust exiting the rear bumper - is really close. This probably won't worry you on the drag strip, but she'll get really toasty doing circuit work, and melt/char the cutout in the bumper. Ask me how I know :) Best to drop it down half an inch mate. Love the build. And I'll be happy when I can actually bolt in my Shockworks gear - Some welding to do first...
Sneaky shot of Bubba towards the end - he REALLY needs to be put in front of a camera! Was also great to see Luke from Shockworks get his mug into a video, should've had him yabbering away also!
Hey Scotty, love the Vx ss wheels, they really make the Lexcen look sexy! I reckon a carnage shop printed wrap with a picture of turbo taxi, mx5, dads Ute, the VS Ute and have mobile advertising! Always great content. Cheers, Daryl
Nice work Tim and Scotty if only I knew I could have done it that way (being in Melbourne) instead of the king springs and gt sport monroe shocks route I went on the Wagoon
These videos really show how ambitious it was trying to either car to last year's drag challenge, atleast this year both should be well sorted and tested for hopefully a trouble free week
Scotty tryna be a gentleman and going for 2 fingers, gets the 3 finger treatment! Looks the goods, hope you have fun and have a competitive outing mate!
Lmao Shockworks suspension bits in a Lexcen wagon - if you went through it with polyurethane bushes and a set of swaybars as well it'd be the best-handling Toyota wagon in the country!
I don't like Holdens (cos was only really the running gear that was Toyota) built after the 60's but this has had some really good mods done to it and has turned it into a right old weapon. Kudos to ya Scotty 👌
Scotty great work in getting suspension upgraded and those alloys are nice BUT THE CENTRE HUB please get rid of the lion badges, this aint no crap GM Holden (well it is but the compliance plate says otherwise).
17:41 hold up a second - who's that slightly shifty looking bloke in the background, hanging around the Lexcen? Are we gonna see some nitrous fitted to this thing?
Absolute weapon of a street car, all round car. Super stealth sleeper and cool rig. Did u find the cause of the flat battery at optima? Was cool to be parked up next to you and chat. Cheers mate.
Knew there was a bonus to waking up early on my day off.. Get to watch Carnage fresh on the upload! 👍 And Scotty, know luck doesn't go your way alot of the time but how's this... getting married tomorrow and was going to be using my car in the wedding.. so what did Ithis idiot decide to do? Drag race it last weekend and lunched the trans on the first pass!😂😂 So now it's the Kona for the big day and not my SS
Scotty mate should have cleaned the calipers with a wire brush on a drill, that way at least it will be a lot easier to clean them when all the brake dust starts to accumulate on them. Well done mate keep up the great work camp. 🦘🦘👌👍✌
The look on Scotty’s face when he said “3 fingers” is priceless, man had to hold his tongue 😂😂
Shockworks guys killing it again. Its amazing the amount of work they do considering it all comes out that small shed.
What a great Australian Company Shock works is , nice to see how coil over is really made.
I have Shockworks coilovers in my Soarer. They're seriously amazing coilovers. When just cruising, I swear it's as comfy if not comfier than stock.
I am impressed! those strut tops look great! They don't look like they will destroy your bonnet if they failed. GOTTA GET ME SOME OF THAT!
That amount of lowering in the rear makes it look fantastic.
I put Shockworks coilovers on my VF wagon, looks great and handling is awesome.
Hmm I need some for my VF sedan, I’ll have to look into them.
Bloody Awesome work Scotty, Terrific bunch of lads at Shockworks, Their work clearly speaks for itself after that transformation.
Got shockworks in my FG turbo, improved handling a lot but still a really comfortable ride. Highly recommended 👍

If you're getting suspension done, you can't go wrong
I have shock works in my FG G6 & couldn't believe the difference in handling it runs on rails now.

Nice work team 👍
turning the boat into a goat. cant wait to see this on a track
Great job Scotty, great job Street Machine and a great product from Shockworks 👍🇦🇺
Great as always Scotty
Pls give Bubba more screen time
Gonna be some fun on the track now, enjoy Scotty
Love to see it! Another great video Scotty & loving to see the Lexcen getting more love! Keep up the good work mate!
That's one happy kid. Look at the excitement on his face.
Haha, never work with kids or animals. He was alot happier off camera.
Hey Scotty, love the Vx ss wheels, they really make the Lexcen look sexy!

Straight and fast. 👍

Love your work, Scotty and it definitely still qualifies as a sleeper (but that’s what she said 😮) 👌
Looks awesome guys well done.
Love the FLEXEN mate it's easily one of my favourite cars you have built 🤟
Scotty tryna be a gentleman and going for 2 fingers, gets the 3 finger treatment! Looks the goods, hope you have fun and have a competitive outing mate!
Looks real nice stance wise I bet it's pretty on rails now ...firm, etc, love the stance.
Bloody enjoyable! Thank you.
I am a Pokémon lover and absolutely had my jaw dropped when seeing the Togepi plush. I am a very happy man today. Shockworks and Street Machine rule!!
Togepi keeps us safe in the shop! Hahaha. Health and safety supervisor.
@@Streatracer99 That is good to know😎
the lowered stance is just right. normally people go too far and within a gnat's nut of scraping the road
Great video Scotty.
Look forward to your next episode.
Cheers from Bill.
I used to have these wheels on my old manual VP wagon...looks awesome with them on..lowered looks best
Excellent family wagon😁
Lmao Shockworks suspension bits in a Lexcen wagon - if you went through it with polyurethane bushes and a set of swaybars as well it'd be the best-handling Toyota wagon in the country!
Awesome work 😊👍
Something about chunky 5 spoke mags on a wagon and sitting right!! Some big ol hsv brake callipers would set this off! 😉
Big ups to shockworks to!

another great vid

Hmm, I have to see if I can find Toyota ones that fit
100% correct Scotty vx ss
Nice 👍
17:41 hold up a second - who's that slightly shifty looking bloke in the background, hanging around the Lexcen? Are we gonna see some nitrous fitted to this thing?
2:45 yeah there off a vx ss 👍
Apparently VX SS ute is the word.
@@STREETMACHINETV yeah there the same I had the same ones on my vx ss when I bought it
*VU ss ute
VX SS Sedan and VU SS Ute had the same wheels from factory. They look ok on the older Commodores too. Were a favorite on VL Commodores back in the day
Nice car ❤
Yes they are vx ss mags
Now the sleeper look is gone Scotty you should put the foward facing high rise inlet manifold on it you were going to use that would look phat asf
Should pop that badge out of the front bar , would clean up the look of the front bar a fair bit 👌
But we'd lose the Toyota badge
@@STREETMACHINETV but imagine what you would gain in style points lol

A Bit Beyond what the old Ultimas would of been able to do.
at 17" they'd have to be from an SS - Going by mine, which are VX S-pack rims, and they are 16"s
It’s Friday !!
Would be awesome if you ordered a set of Toyota centre caps 😎

Congrats and good luck for your big day
Oh dear...
Mate, who did you order your original Toyota 1UZ parts from in Dubai? Busy dropping one in my SWB V25 Pajero. Cheers
Part Souq
Scotty, it would be great if you could do wrecker videos when you need car parts!
Most wreckers don't allow cameras in them
@@STREETMACHINETV Yes, unfortunately, I thought that might be the case!
Let's hope breaking hearts is all it does 👍👍
Switch out the holden wheel caps for toyota ones.
spotto bubba ,is he getting ready to steer it at optima ??
Nah, just lending a hand
Vx ss rims make them look like a sleeper because old men put them on to replace the steelies.
We were thinking it looks P-plater spec
@@STREETMACHINETV Only once lowered. Raised and alloys though.
@@STREETMACHINETV Was P plater VL Commodore owner wheel of choice in the mid to late 2000's
hey scotty what diff and diff hat was fitted to the lexcen?
Standard diff, but with some upgrades.
@@STREETMACHINETV i found the vid on it but it dont say what rear houseing it on it?
@MedalForces to be honest, I don't know who makes the hat, it was supplied by Mobile Diff Repairs
@@STREETMACHINETV thanks mate ill give them a sus
Guys everytime I try to order merch it seems out… any idea how/when I can buy that hoodie??
Which hoodie in particular?
The one Scotty is wearing (what a model he is). Plain hoodie with Street Machine on it
Should of gone too vt disc and caliper,Single piston wasn't much chop in our vl circuit race car
Yeah, after the weekend, I agree
👍👍👍
Needs the stock wheels
It won't handle on 15s
No.
🤘🐠
woohoo
Needs roof racks...
Oh they are a vx ss rev 1, 2.0, 0901 model wheel to be exact thank you. Get your facts straight in the future plz
Haha
