Wow, stripes after the first cut of the season. I haven’t ventured out yet - just containers and concrete slabs here, already christened by bird poo; and they don’t even leave that in nice ‘stripes’!
So excited to see your season starting up again and enjoying your work at the new property. Tip: I use PlastiDip spray coat in hot pink on the handles of my pruners (secateurs) to make them easier to find when I put them down. It's a spray on rubber-like coating. There must be something similar in the UK.
I don't skip ya video's lee, you do good work on all your sights I'm going to purchase a pouch for my secateurs just treated myself to some stihl ones,
Cheers pal top bloke👍...yeah they're great...I used to just put them in my back pocket for years...not a problem but a pouch is so much better especially when wearing wet gear
Always amazed at how howing a boarder can really take the final look up to your professional look..... garden looks beautiful mind your a devil with that strimmer!!! (Nudge! Nudge! Wink! Wink! Say no more!!!! ) No wonder you dont like pots in a garden!!🤣😂😜
😊 yep I do like to tickle the borders....ah yes the strimmer ....method in my madness ....collateral damage....have to be removed now and help tidy up the patio 😉
I love your waffles, lol. Thanks for putting us in under cover, my hair goes all bushy in the rain. This garden looks so much better now you are it's caretaker Lee. Glad to hear you get to clean up the patio too. Have a good week :)
Lee, you always do a great job, even in the rain. You really have what it takes to stick to a job and follow it through. Being a gardener/landscaper is a way of life, it's not just a 9 to 5 job. Love your videos and the banter!😊👍
Your strimmer must be very powerful. Did you notice that it bust a hole in the clay pot by the drain? The grass looks good for a first cut and the beds much improved. And yes, I did listen to all your waffling! I guess some people "skip" bits if they are short of time. I rarely skip anything as I don't want to miss any pearls of wisdom! 😉
Thank you☺️...that's what has been pi**ing me off to be honest!!!!!!....I used to go up about 1000 every month ( which I was very happy and appreciated)...BUT....I've been stuck at 19.4 for nearly two years 🙈 tends to put you off a bit 😒
A very nice start for 2024 on this property, Lee. Also considering how wet it was, lovely cut for the lawn and lovely crisp edging and weeding. Many thanks for sharing with us, much appreciated and no skipping; I prefer to see the whole video. After all, you put a lot of effort into not only the maintenance but also the filming/editing. Take care and see you on your next project 👍👍👍
No skipping here Lee! I think your maintenance videos are my favourite ones actually... especially the lawn updates/results following scarifying/treatment (those videos are great too). It's very satisfying seeing you turn a neglected lawn into the LHL standard... with stripes (love watching the cut in real time). Do you think you could give us more of those in 2024? Also, have we seen that mower before? What happed to the HRX? Cheers, Mark.
Always look forward to your vids Lee, learned a few tips from your vids over the years. Ive listened to the waffle😅 1 thing that i have to say, you always get the lawns edged and striped perfect, then work over all the good work by weeding borders and walking all over it, wouldnt it be better doing the grass last?
Could you do a video on the basics of how your care for your eqt maintenance all your mowers seem to stat same with the strimmers whats in the secret sauce ,you never seem to have trouble with the carbretor , great video love your floor scrapper did you make it or buy
Cheers buddy ....If I'm totally honest about tool care....I think I'm just lucky....I obviously give them some attention but nothing out the ordinary and not really as often as I should....igot the scraper from a shed clear out at a job and thought " that'll come in handy"....never looked at it for about 3 years then BOOM one day used it and never looked back
Strimmer 1, Brittle plant pot 0! No skipping from me Lee and I listened to all the waffle, er, I mean commentary! A lovely job as always! I'm not a fan of washing lines, ornaments nor fancy lights stuck everywhere. That paving does need a jet wash, it looks very dangerous, especially in the wet. As for mislaying tools, I had two daisy grubbers go missing in action! One I found the following spring under a shrub and another, two years later as I removed miniature firs to extend a veg plot. My favourite shears got dumped as I had put them down on a half filled bag as I went to do something else. Sorry, I'm waffling, but covering a number of points you raised in this video. So much rain as of late, No doubt there will be a hosepipe ban in a few months!
NOW I need a medel for your waffling 😅😅 yep lost a grubber once...same applies " don't put it down" I slip it into my rule pocket in my pants....and your not joking about a hose pipe ban 🙈 I'll remind you when it happens 😅👍
The space between the brick planter and the juniper is too narrow. I liked your previous video of this garden. "Garden / Yard TIDY UP plus scarifying". I enjoy your videos (especially the "...LHL way..." videos and your "Sleepy...relaxing....gentle.....let your mind wander" video).
I made it to the end, Lee, and I never skipped.😇. How come your Honda mower has a yellow engine cover btw ? Or am I colour blind.🤔. We are due an early start to the season after such a wet winter. Fingers crossed.
I never skip mate, especially when I wear my kilt, and don't you waffle...lol, you have had over 1k views over 9 hrs, I get 100 views over 9 days lol, youtube is about algae rhythm, you just got to get it right
