WOW! that was a lot of hard work! unbelievable the size of those lumps BUT even more unbelievable was once you dug them down & levelled them, was the MASSIVE IMPOVEMENT in how the grass looked when you went back, even before you mowed it!!! Lee you are AMAZING, your skill at this type of challenge is just second to none. Truly didnt expect to see such a vast transformation after just one visit! fantastic work Lee TFS 😁
Confidence can sometimes bite you on the arse. But it can be a lesson to check and check again, pitfalls are round every corner. I can safely say I have been guilty of this more than once. 😮. A great improvement already Lee.👍
I never expected to see you in the courts Lee! Amazing job, no mean task there, some of that was awful! I hope we get to go back and see it all green and grateful for the grafting! 'Advantage Lee!'
Hi Lee, That looked very hard work which we all know you are not afraid of,but when you said you felt like going home,I felt your pain.. Been there a few times,I hope you get the maintenance on that, you certainly have merited it,your determination is very impressive, and your skill level is unquestionable.. The transformation is incredible, and the outlook is going to be really a joy for you to see,as you would of created it all by yourself..Well done to you, bet you needed a sit down when you got home, and the wind was incredible....😊
Dear me, that looked really hard work in the early spring. Those bumps were small hills actually! The amount of stuff that came out of them was insane. Good job you have the skills and equipment to tackle this, as many would have given up. Can't wait to see this through the season. 😀
great video there mate loved every bit of it , digging the Mersey tunnel their, love to see how you go about doing there edging on the gravel area ,past the green chairs and tables , hope they let you do that , haven't got a scobbie doo how to aproach that , look forward to that video , many thanks for posting great skill
Fabulous Lee. Major improvement from the uneven grass and with your on-going maintenance schedule, this will look a real treat. Many thanks for sharing this extremely tough project. Much appreciated 👍👍👍
I totally agree with you Lee, its the desire to show ourselves and others what a lovely job we can do. Even if sometimes, we just want to chuck in the towel. If I find myself being mentally challenged. I take lots more breaks and do it in bite size chunks. At the end of the day I love being outside and not have to answer to anyone. And then after I'll buy myself an ice-cream if I feel i need it.
@suerobinson844 well....their grass courts are fabulous BUT just not up to the quality of an LHL lawn 😉 ( the lawn tennis association must try harder) 😛
Wow, that was hard work! To go from the ‘mess’ of the scarifier (bet you had to buy a new one!) to those stretches of green is nothing short of a miracle. 👏🏼👏🏼 Regards from one of the Ladles 🥄
@LHLgardenservices that was like pushing the scarifier through wet concrete! Yowza! It's a tremendous improvement. Amazing how leveling helps so much. Bet you could have scarified 15 more times and still be pulling out a ton of thatch. Great job, Lee! My preemptive like was earned! 😁👍
@@LHLgardenservices I had a tough fight with one particular garden, there were bricks, rocks, everything in there, the soil was so packed, it stalled the 2.5hp engine every minute. I'm still surprised nothing broke.
Great job mate proper graft that was. Are they just interested in those strips of lawn or they wanting you to do other bits there notice there’s a few areas shrubs and trees around?

Fantastic job 👍🏻
😊 thanks bud
If they gave you a tip, I'd go get a £2 slab and put it where the wrecked spot in the grass is. If people are going to step on it anyway..
Yeah...I've asked could we put a couple of pavers down because its a constant walkway 👍

Great video as usual Lee. Just a quick question, what kind of sand did you use to top dress please?
Thank you 😊 washed sand
At the start, did you put weedkiller down the same day you strimmer it/scarified or was that a few days before?
Treatment was a week or so before buddy 👍
Well done Lee another job completed to the correct amount for the area concerned. Bye the way which selective weed killer do you use?
😊👍
It’s much better if you put the camera on something and just move the came sometimes. Holding and mowing makes people dizzy
