Angel Hernandez, Joe West, C.B. Bucknor some of the worst. Never held accountable, disciplined, or put on camera or mic to apologize for their terrible calls and mistakes. Yes I know that umpires do make the correct and tough calls often, but I'd like to ask, has this YT channel ever posted a video calling out their own umpires for their own mistakes in a crucial spot, even one time or admitted it? Just curious. I know that other TH-cam channels bash umpires, and with good reason, but I want to see if umpiring crews can see fault within themselves, that would be important. Because they are never held accountable in the sport.

The funny part about giving a 10-game suspension in this case is that the suspension is usually going to benefit teams other than the team (Blue Jays) that the suspended player's team (Yankees) was playing at the time of the offense. I think MLB should modify the suspension terms a little bit to make it more fair for the team that the offense offended or put at a disadvantage in the first place. I can think of many suspension scenarios in which the team that was put at a competitive disadvantage by an offense that resulted in a suspension did not benefit from the suspension. Not only does this happen in MLB, it also happens in other sports.

It's just rosin, isn't it? Is that an illegal substance? I don't understand how this rule works. Last time German said he used rosin in the dugout, that's why he came out with sticky hands. Pitchers can only use rosin on the mound, not in the dugout? They have to wash their hands in between every inning and come out with fresh clean hands? Then rosin them up again on the mound?

They need to just start checking pitchers at the end of every half inning. It's nonsense that the crews are checking because the opposing managers are requesting it. The other option would be an NHL type stick curve check rule. If an opposing manager asks the umpires to check a player for foreign substances and there are no foreign substances than the manager requesting the check should then be ejected. In a year of much bad optics, it's additional bad optics to have umpires checking players.
