I have thought the same thing. I went from a nonbeliever didnt know anything about Jesus to a disciples of christ church then an independent Baptist church almost ifb. Like one step down. God broke me down and humbled me. I really feel like I was just like a pharisee. I am reformed Baptist now and I know that's the work of God.
