Got one a couple days ago. Works great with the TRRS headphone jack on the Dell desk computer, not at all with the iPad. Had to rig up a modified cable to run the X5105 and G90 but once that was done, the interface & the Dell work great. Had a half dozen QSOs on FT8 with it so far (my main bit for getting the box). . . . If only it would work with the iPad, we'd be good. Also, it'd be nice to figure a way to run it with the soundcard outputs instead of the mic/headphone output of the Dell. And, of course some way to get it wired up to the iPad. (Yes, I know you can hold the mic near the iPad speaker. I just want a cleaner, more wired-up way to signal path this beast.
Is Wolphi link only for android? Can it be used on windows to support JS8Call (FT8Call)???? I can't seem to find an answer to that question. Thanks in advance.
Bought pne earlier this year, haven't had time yet to play, but seem to work well with the 817. What other programs for different modes have you used? Enjoy the videos!
I really like how compact the wolphilink is but the apps are not updated, nor is there any updates by the maker for using this interface with other devices and/or software. Has anyone got this successfully working with something other than an Android device? This is a great small and light weight device just wished there were more of a following on it...
Try to remember app developers are normal people who develop on the side. They have families, jobs, and life problems like everyone else. The WolphiLink is as much a part of this channel as I am. It gets your smart phone, tablet, Microsoft Surface, anything with a TRRS Mic & Speaker port. The WokphiLink is great on the air with digital modes were a signalink would be too big and cumbersome. It won't replace a proper audio interface with built in sound card. On the flipside, a proper audio interface with built in sound card weights about 20x more, and 3x the price. I hope this helps 73 Julian oh8stn
Thanks for teh question Sure the Wolphilink will work with any mode, provided you have software to do it. For example I have tested with WSPR, PSK31, PSK63, SSTV, MFSK-16 all with very nice results. The place where I have had trouble is using it above 50Mhz, but tahts the only problem I have had. 73
Julian - Thank you for the videos and sharing so much with the community. Would you see this TNC replacing something like a Signalink OR acting in a similar role but just for mobile (android) devices?
PERFECT!!That's exactly what I'm looking for too do PSK31 out and about.
Excellent. Never heard of it! Super.

Julian, Did you have to adjust the pots when you first got the Wolphi?

The title inclused "WSPR" but it does not seem to be supported by the WOLPHILINK Interface? How are you doing WSPR?

have you seen the easy digi interface?
Yes. Is not bad but the WolphiLink was a perfect fit for Android devices (my preference) without a comport and using TRRS connection. Why do you ask?
How did you keep RFI from messing with your Android?
I wish they would make a version that would work in iphones.
Will it do MT-63
Thanks for teh question

Is it possible to use on an iPad?
If the iPad has 4 pole TRRS connector like modern smartphone and tablets certainly. The difficult part will be finding the software go run.
If your iPad has a 4 pole TRRS socket with headphone and microphone connection, it will work fine.
+SurvivalTech Nord yes the iPad does have a TRRS socket and pSK31 app
