I noticed that you're running 2 shadow skills on the front bar, and only 1 on the back bar. Your health will change when you bar swap. Good build and info. Thanks 🙏
My main build right now is ranged magblade on Breton with fb orders wrath and bb wretched vitality with markyn mythic and 1piece trainee as well as archdruid monster set. Swallow Soul is in my opinion the best ranged spammable since it gives me a very decent hot and combining it with crushing weapon just feels broken. Also running concealed weapon on my bb for extra speed and oh boy am I fast. Balorgh is usually awesome and a no brainer for me but I'm not really using a reliable stun so I can't really count on my meteor hitting anyway. The only downside so far is that the only offensive ult that makes sense to use is the meteor ult and I dont like meteor. Altho when I time my spectral bow proc with a medium attack on an offbalanced target right before the meteor hits I can Instakill, it's just way to situational and way to reliant on the other players making mistakes. I guess if there would be a better ranged ult for magblade to use other than meteor I would definetly switch to Balorgh. It would definetly be stronger as a khajiit since I'm rocking 45,9% critrate with my crits doing double damage if there ain't no crit resistance (especially now during pvp event with so many players going pvp with pve gear. Cloak into spectral bow also onehits most non pvp players) but the 7% cost reduction on magskills as a Breton almost perfectly counters the extra cost I get because of being stage 3 vamp which is more important to me since I feel like damage is high enough already and if it ain't I can also often just outsustain the other players by spamming a little and forcing them to spamm heals until they run out of resources. I love woodelf for stambuilds and I think in pvp it works great for magbuilds as well since more stam and/or better stam sustain means more dodging and blocking. You get extra pen extra speed extra stam and a very decent amount of stam rec, so stam sustain on woodelf is almost never a problem. It's definetly my favourite race especially for stam builds. Sry for the long comment, great video tho. Quite detailed which I like.
If I had to run a light head piece, how much would it affect the build? I can't run the dungeon anymore because I no longer have eso plus :( Also I'm having issues getting axes but I have maces. I know you said axes are better but if I had to go maces would I be sacrificing too much for the build?
The biggest reason to avoid the Bloodthirsty trait in PvP (no matter what class you're playing) is: if you can't break all the way through the target's damage shield (think Sorc here) and the first 10% of their health, Bloodthirsty gives you _literally nothing!_ And how often have you seen a fight come down to who gets out the most damage right from the start? Maybe because one combatant was relying on aid that wasn't there in time or maybe just out of good ole' fashioned panic from seeing their health drop so fast. Either way, it happens all the time.
Id argue its easier to take off the first 50% health than it is to finish off the last 50%. Bloodthirsty is not bad imo. I still prefer infused because of the big healing increase
Awesome build mate :) The only thing is i cannot choose the race for nightblade between khajiit and dark elf(can switch between mag and stam).. Would you say khajiit is safe the best pick by far? I dont know if the crt bonus will be do more damage than the weapon/spell damage bonus from dark elf 🤔 Whats your opinion?
I was a Dark Elf for many years on my NB, once I swapped to Khajiit I never looked back, Khajiit is hands down better imo better heals and crit damage The easiest way to test the difference is run The Apprentice/Warrior mundus and then swap to the Shadow and see how much more powerful Crit damage is
So I am a mag made and following the GEAR to a tee. Obviously that stam enchant on the boots would be magicka. Will I still get similar or same results being mag?
I was excited to run this but my only Tarnished 1H is swords and no jewelry oh naur just wanna be a cheeseblade rn lol (I've already played Shattered Fate nb but wanna be annoying >:]). Great build though, thanks! I like that it works for mag or stam. Before I get to farming BV, any thoughts on how scribing might affect this?
Dude, I got a question. I do PvE and PvP casually, so I'm not sure whether to morph Grim Focus into Merciless Resolve or Relentless Focus, same goes for Siphoning Strikes morphing into Siphoning Attacks or Leeching Strikes. What do you think I should go with?
Hey I’m running this build now but I’m stuck. I’m running everything you have but for some reason my max stats aren’t the same. My max magicka is 1k less, my health is over 1k less and, my stamina is almost 1k less. All of the recoveries are the same but I just can’t figure out what I’m missing
How close are you to 10k Pen? Because there is a NightBlade that’s supposed to gives almost 3k Pen when attacking someone from the flank but sometimes bugs out and gives it to you all the time
At first it was because of that, but I read this comment yesterday and tried the Weapon Damage enchant back bar on stream and it was definitely slapping, I might be a new staple on my builds now lol
It’s so stupid how strong nb is, they’re oppressively strong in PvP. Meaning playing my stamplar is effectively nerfing myself because it’s the wrong class… if it doesn’t get nerfed I’ll be extremely pissed and just remain a nb main until it does
Guys, I have a lil question, don't know if anyone answer this, but does someone can tell me what sets can I use in pvp on my nightblade to be one bar and have some survivability and some damage in the same time? I'm not ganker, I just want to go in fight and not die in two seconds
What CP are you? Having low CP is a big factor, Rallying Cry is a great set for Damage and Tankiness, or Ancient Dragonguard It also just comes down to what you’re fighting, damage is insanely high rn and I myself with an extremely Tanky set can get shredded by Gankers Also PvP experience is a huge factor, playing more will definitely help, I started on Console against fully geared PC transfers that would destroy me in seconds, but slowly I got the hang of survivability and what combos to look out for or prepare for
@@Hexapug my cp 1600+, I'm crab at pvp but I trying again and again, and just seeking for help 😅 I played with two bars in the past, It was even before the oakensoul in game, but after that I started to play one bar because it's really easy, but the more I play, the more I understand that it seems that in serious pvp, one bar is really weaker
These videos always make me wonder some things. 1. How are they finding small scale PvP? 2. How is bow price never dodged? I only ever see massive ball groups, and MFs are rolling before they hit the ground from uncap stun
If I’m lucky I can find a fight where I don’t instantly get Zerged over after hours of gameplay, that’s the power editing only showing the highlights, 9/10 of my combos are rolled or cloaked so don’t assume I always get perfect fights
😂 Tbf I released the build the 1st week of its inception as a cautionary tale for ZoS, but 3 patches later they still haven’t nerfed it 🙃 I’ve used it once and never again
i will never forget you how you started an another nightblade farm in whole eso, like therelequen farm back in the day. now every mf in tamriel doing this build. it changed nothing
I've been enjoying using tarnished, so satisfying hearing it proc...be it from my templar doing a crescent sweep or my sorc streaking through a crowd, both leaving an explosion of damage in their wake!
Yeah if you want, I would recommend Sharpened with either a Shock, Poison enchant or 2x DoT poisons, the damage would be ever so slightly lower compared to 2W
Maces are really good so you should be completely fine if you don’t want to grind, it’s just Axes work best on NB if you’re trying to min/max even as a Khajiit
It’s because NightBlades inherently have more crit chance so it’s better to compliment that with Axes, as Axes typically does more damage than Maces it’s just the inconsistency of non crits, plus NightBlades have nearly 3k Pen in one of their passives to off set it
This video was really well done and insightful. Appreciate that.
Nothing better than a Hex build, even when it’s the cheese.
I noticed that you're running 2 shadow skills on the front bar, and only 1 on the back bar. Your health will change when you bar swap. Good build and info. Thanks 🙏

When it comes to nightblade class, always run khajit.
Make sure to put that 2004 trash techno intro music like its some faze clan recruitment vid in the start. It makes it so much better.
So I am a mag made and following the GEAR to a tee. Obviously that stam enchant on the boots would be magicka. Will I still get similar or same results being mag?
Yes, the Mag variant will do more damage while the Stam variant does less damage but having better survivability being able to roll dodge spam better
NBs running wild in BGs right now
is rallying cry proc swallow soul? never tried that variation before
No it shouldn’t, since the heal itself can’t crit, the heal is based off a % of the damage done where only the damage can crit but not the heal
would love a run down on your rotation

Why no Weapon Damage enchant on the back bar? Is it more important to have the sustain?
At first it was because of that, but I read this comment yesterday and tried the Weapon Damage enchant back bar on stream and it was definitely slapping, I might be a new staple on my builds now lol
