I have never even played pvp before today. I am a pve skrublord. I have only been playing eso 1 month. I watched this video, pulled an all night bender making this exact character and went into my first bg just now. Top damage, most kills, least deaths. And honestly, i was running around like a douche spamming everything with no skill. This is absolutely disgusting, thanks bro :)
Thank you for watching!Note on Crushing Weapon: If you are proficient at parsing, you will get crushing damage on the opening light attack, which will affect combos. I explained it for the experience of the average player who struggles with the weave, that I previously had mentioned. I also now see, my explanation is extremely poor in that regard as well, it was late, apologies. 😅 Spend a bit of time with it in front of a dummy and get a feel for it. Treat it like any other spammable. ➡Twitch: www.twitch.tv/the_gameroom
I put this together as a purple gear build to test on my new night blade. I don't even have my skills all morphed and it was still fantastic. You do a great job of figuring out builds that really work.
Probably one of my favorite comments today, Willie. Thank you for coming back and letting me know. This is good stuff and thank you for the kind words! 🙏
I have been running this build through it's paces since you dropped this video. It is capable of speed running Vet Vateshran flawlessly and Vet Maelstrom flawlessly too!
My 2nd favorite build after the Arcanist Bow build. This one is so much fun. 8v8 and I got 3809 medals 12 kills 10 assists and no death! Keep the great builds coming.
Dooma you’re a freaking genius! I don’t know how you would’ve come up with this build but I will tell you this it works! It took me about 5 to 7 BGs to get kind of the feel of it but once I did, I was killing everything it was a blast. I stayed up till about 3 o’clock in the morning cause I could not stop killing people you’ve created a monster and a fan for life. Great job so much in fact I just joined your PATREON at the PRO Level! 😊❤🎉🎉 ❤😊
😂 Love this comment! I know exactly that feeling and I am so glad this build did that for you. Awesome stuff over there and THANK YOU for the Patreon tier change! 🙏🙏🙏
Oof. I'll be honest, there is no way for me to make that grind sound fun lol. It's just something you do with Netflix on a side monitor and a huge frown the whole time. 😅
Hi 7Jers3y2 and thank you! Check out my response to Jorgenboi in the comments. His profile pic is a blue background and the letter J to help find it quicker.
Fair play, mate. Just threw together some blues/purples, mixed traits, no enchants and no psijic and not only did I have a great k/d, I got the most kills I ever have in one round. Time to start grinding portals
@@oneplusoneequalstwo1523 Heyyyyy awesome, thanks so much for coming back and letting me know. This was really nice to read today, I appreciate it very much, and I am glad you are enjoying it. 🙏

Hi Ash! Since posting, I have been play testing this set up on every class, BGs and Cyro, 1 bar, and 2. I put some thoughts in discord and plan to explain everything on the next stream (looking at a bit later today, but waiting on something this morning to confirm.)
I did some small changes to it, but this build absolutely dominates BGs. Still having problems with Cyrodiil as majority are 40K health, but boy is it fun to be the dominator in BGs! Thanks for this build, made me enjoy ESO much more.
Okay this is nuts, insane, awesome! First BG with it, 24 kills, 8 assists, 0 deaths. Gave my first char a wood elf NB crafter new life. Went with the heavy+reinforced chest, light for monster helm based on the Jorgen thread. I also went no stealth. I'm stunned how well this worked! Sustain was good even when roll dodging like crazy. Once I was out of dodge I got back to full resources super fast and then back on the offensive! Forgot to mention I forgot poison and my dawnguard wasn't even "merciless" because I need to level it up and morph it lol
Dooma! Omg! I absolutely suck at PvP and BG’s. I just ran my first BG with purple traited gear… I went 18-1-2 with 720k damage.. more than 2x the damage than anyone else! Thank you so much!!!!
Hi there! Super late response, apologies. Catching up now. Heyyyyyy that's awesome, you are very welcome! GREAT work and thanks so much for coming back and letting me know! 💪
I find dodge rolling toward the person, getting behind them and hitting them in the back also a good method, most people don't pivot fast enough to respond.
Love the build. I'm having a blast with it in BGs. I tried out Crushing Weapon, but couldn't wrap my brain around it. I use a scribed skill, Sundering Soul, as a substitute. It's Wield Soul with physical damage + lingering + major breach. The major breach helps a lot and I also get another DOT out of it. I might give Crushing Weapon another try in the future, but sundering soul works for me for now.
Hi there! Super late response, apologies. Catching up now. If it works for you, that's ALL that matters. Great work making the build your own thing, that's what its about right there. 💪
This is the best I've had so far, worst is like 7-3. If you play with your group, stick behind them, poison inject away, CW then merci proc. REPOSITION is absolutely great with this build, roll then invis, ez claps!
Dang this build is a game changer, never been really good at pvp, tried many builds to no avail... but this build changes everything... thank you so much... im not even on gold just blue and purple improvements and it's like a hot knife thru butter 👍👍
I want to point out something important about Crushing/Elemental Weapon. When using it with ranged attacks, if the attack is still in the air or just hitting your target when you activate the ability, the attack will get the ability proc.
Thank you Nick. I added it to the pinned comment right after posting as well. I realized I explained it a bit poorly in the vid, or left some out. It has to do with light weaving speed. If you parse quickly normally, you will get the bonus damage on the opening LA, so it does alter how some combo's roll out if you are moving quick. Great comment, thank you!
Thank you Dyattz! 💪 I feel you there, trust. I was very salty for an entire 48 hour weekend no sleep marathon when the Arcanist came out re-grinding everything to get it all out of the way in one shot. 😅
Thank you Spidey, I hope you enjoy it! Check out my response to Jorgenboi here in the comments. His profile pic is blue with a white “J” to find it a little easier.
The bow burst ganks still work on 30k hp people, you just need tarnished and anthelmir. Even on a onebar Anthelmir, Tarnished and 4 piece witch knight (witch knight for wpn dmg) will shred people. Although your point of consistentcy was very valid. You have to wait until all sets are ready to be used again. After testing out this build I found you can just spam as much as you want Also other ganks shred you with that anthelmir HA build, this build is way more durable. All in all I love this build very much! Thanks Dooma!!
Awesome and you are very welcome! Thank you for the comment and apologies for the super delayed response. 🙏 I am just returning from being out from surgery.
There's a crafted set called karth, I made it and using it with sheer venom and seems like it procs more often and breaks people down with dot and burst.
I wonder if three bloodthirsty jewels would be better than three infused. Seems like bloodthirsty might help ramp up the executes from sheer venom and poison injection, but the healing would be worse.
Hi Turbo! Better may be a relative term here. If you are super proficient and on it with positioning, bt could be better, especially if you don't mind dying a bit more often. For most other circumstances, Infused is going to be more ideal most likely. Plus, no matter how good you are, no matter what build you play, every single person gets in tough trouble moments where they barely make it. In those moments, infused may be what pushes you over the line for living. It's a bow build, with 1 bar, using double damage sets, and mostly dps cp, while running health below 30k and playing in melee with optional stealth. You have to make some sacrifices in the set up to stay alive through all that. All that said, if you are running around in groups and have a solid healer, then bt may be great, however, I didnt test it out at all, so this is all hypothetical just from experience. Great question, thank you!
I ended up trying it on all the classes and spent a bit of stream time sharing all the set ups. I settled with Sorcerer as my next version for the build and have been playing it as my own pvp build. It's been quite a lot of fun!
OK confession.......I just recently tried some other 3 Proc attack sets, 2 bar builds, 2 hander builds, bomber builds and spent a TON of gold, time and transmute crystals to COME RIGHT BACK to this build. If there is a improved version of this and I missed it please point that out......but finally respectable numbers return in BGs and I'm a total pain in the ass in Cyrodiil.....plus with little to no change I can 4 man dungeon DPS for my daily XP Grind. Ok I new it was a Fantastic build.....but now I am not sure there is anything better..... Great job you know I am a fan keep em coming Dooma
Ayyyy I love to hear it haha, that's good stuff. I'm really glad you are both enjoying the build and crushing with it. 💪 I am kind of having the same experience myself with the Arcanist version with a few small changes. It's been putting in work in these new BGs. I appreciate the comment buddy, made my day. 🙏
I'm not a die hard PvPr, but I'm enjoying this build. One change I made is since my nightblade is a wood elf I didn't think I needed to use the Serpent mundus, so I picked the Thief instead for higher crit chance. It works very well. The build has a great combination of hardiness and damage. One on one I can easily beat the sweaty DKs who usually give me a hard time on other builds.
Another change I implemented was to switch the ultimate to Toxic Barrage. I feel it better fits the theme of the build, and it helps me get more kills.
@Dooma I miss just spamming light attacks and watching people reel from the bleeds. This has potential to do the same thing I can't wait to get home and slap this all together! Thanks again dooma!
@Dooma got it all put together and it so satisfying, I went heavy on chest and helmet cause I'm doing the no stealth version, but used the warrior mundas and heavy balorgh helmet for more damage. It's great!
@@BryanBrown69 me too. I found a really good guide with map markers so I finished it in about 3 days. Each step took me about 20 minutes. Had a friend help me get to zones I didn’t have yet. Very fun build.
I think I read somewhere that when update 43 drops, Way of the Fire will no longer keep intermittently pulling you out of stealth. I've been rolling WotF on just about every bow build I've played in the last 3 or 4 years, and that stealth bug has driven me CRAZY! xD
Hol-E-Cow, this build is *_awesome_* fun! I've had Sheer Venom on my radar for a while now, even had the set with funky traits in my bank. This has been a great excuse to dust it off! I've gotten into some solo and small group scraps in Cyro so far PvP wise, and it handles like a *_dream!_* Then I thought "Hey, lets try this in PvE!" In _real fights,_ I found this set combo (with a few skill tweaks) to be competitive with my _Pillar Relequen_ combo, like _whaat?_ So then I thought, "Fetch it, lets try a parse!" 62k, with sub-optimal enchants, traits, and un-modified CPs. On a build that _unlike_ Rele+Pillar, can target swap on the fly with _zero_ issues! I have _no doubt_ in my mind I could probably push to break 70k parsing, if I go all-in on PvE optimization. Thank you _so incredibly much_ for this build dude, it is now my _absolute FAVORITE_ PvP/PvE damage build, now! Cheers, Dooma! 🍻
Between the other comment and this one you are making my week! 😂 I'm so glad you are enjoying it so much, AND awesome work putting together your own versions of it. That's exactly what I meant by "take it and make it yours." Well done! Check out the Community Tab above, and then the post from 2 days ago. It should start with, "🔥Since posting the NB build..." it has a bit more info for the build from my play testing it on other classes, if you are interested in that as well. Thank you again so much for taking the time to share your thoughts on the build! 🙏
Thank you, I appreciate that! It's still g2g, just played it haha. It's also on a few other builds on the channel now as well. The Sorc version is my favorite: th-cam.com/video/w93WiRmocSE/w-d-xo.html&t
Was just getting pumped by this build. I could drop the guy very fast if I caught him, just had to actually catch him first. Lots of dmg gunna give it a try. Thanks
Hi Jorgen! With Fire Bow and Tri Enchants alone, this build is expensive to put together (considering nothing else). Then you need to run 2x poisons and tri pots to play it, which can be very expensive. I try, within reason, to make things as accessible as possible. When I looked chests were really expensive and bows with proper traits are ridiculous. I knew this video would likely increase all those prices to some degree and I didn't want people sitting this one out, for the sake of a tiny bit more survivability. I was actually pulling it up on TTC to link it to you, and I see now, it is wildly different from when I looked a few weeks+ ago. I think what may have happened, is I am just so conditioned to using reinf. heavy chests, I must have not looked at well-fitted chests, because they are crazy cheap rn. That said, reinf. is also really cheap rn as well. I have personally picked up a few chests to have that option as well for min maxing that I am going to discuss in the next video (1 and 2 bar Stamsorc). TLDR: def swap shoulders for chest. I'd even consider running it reinforced. I have 4 now. Divine, Well Fitted, Impen., and Reinf.
@@Dooma Thanks a bunch for elaborating - your reasoning about pricing makes total sense. I just happened to drop a reinforced chest before commenting, so I figured I’d double check if there were any other reasons I was missing👌🏻 Thanks for the awesome work you put in and builds you put out, I’ll check out your stream vod later to see results of play testing other classes
Haha awesome love to hear it. 5-6 WF is super slept on for some builds. Been trying to spread it for a while now. It’s not for everyone but if it fits your play style where you abuse rolls non-stop, and you know when to roll, it’s like magic.
Any suggestion of a replacement skill for crushing. Sorta a cop out but I really don’t want to grind the psijic skill line as my one hour a day after work lol
@@Dooma yeah I just sucked it up and grinded the skill anyway. Another question tho, I can’t solo imperial city for Sheer Venom and can’t find a group. You think Syvarra would be a decent replacement till I can somehow get it?
Ah man that is a bummer. Honesty I don’t think it’s the greatest fit (it could be though!). It’s proc doesn’t say “per target” it says “every x seconds.” Vs sheer that says “every x seconds per target.” So this limits your ability to multi dot targets with the same play style. It’s also difficult to maintain an only 6 second second dot on 1 target, from ranged, in the middle of team fights. I think you’ll constantly lose pressure and be frustrated a lot. On paper anyway. I really hope you can farm Sheer soon because it really does fit in the set up like magic. Syncs up perfect.
I see on the warden build you go sharpened with the bow do you recommend that now for the Nightblade as well? I felt weird putting precise on a PVP build but wasn't sure the reasoning not to go sharpened
Honestly they both work well. I was torn myself and went back and forth for a while and I find myself using Sharpened bow/Weapon Damage helm more now usually. But on the NB and Sorc versions, which are much more 'burstier' in nature (vs. the Arcanist and Warden which are a bit more sustained damage), running crit can be great as well for those random monster crit combos that global people unexpectedly. On the 3m dummy, they have very similar outputs. I would say universally though, Sharp/weapon damage is the better combo if you wanted one settup to fit all needs.
I personally don't prefer smite because it only procs on one target, once per 15 seconds vs. sheer venom is on every target, all the time, as long as you have poison inject rolling on them. Inject lasts 20 seconds, so that's 20 seconds of double dots (plus rng poisoned status effects) on every target around you that you roll Inject on. Smite is one single target for 10 seconds. WoF is also a very strong damage source when focusing down a single target. Smite is decent when teams are grouped up and turtled up constantly, so that may be a great set to swap to mid game if you end up in one of those turtle games. Just from my own experience from what I can remember, fairly often WoF and/or Sheer is in my death logs, whereas I dont remember the last year I've seen venomous in there. Im sure it has been here and there, but I feel the other 2 sets outperform it fairly easily (outside the specific windows of getting most of the 10s duration on lots of grouped up players).
Just looking for opinions here, i haven't had time to set it up. But how does oakensoul/anthlemir's construct/virulent shot/ sheer venom/two pieces of potentates. Sound? Heavy into magnum into poison inject. Thats a burst, two dots, a CC and an execute pretty fast.
Ill be honest, that is a rough one to make sense of on paper. It may be awesome, it may be terrible. My general rule is its always best to try anything once!

I've been struggling with my arcanist to make a build that works in PVP. Beam just won't hit. I tried this today and wow. My first game (ever) went over 1mil damage. Went 7/2 with 25 assists. Thank you! (25 assists! I was robbed!)
Love this build! I even soloed some pve bosses and arenas with it. If I choose siphoning instead of shadow disguise, is vampire stage still necessary? It seems that I cannot benefit from vampire passive with those skills. Thank you!
Awesome, I am glad you are enjoying the build, it's one of my favorites! Legitimately and only reason we are a vamp on this build is for the Dark Stalker and Strike from the Shadows passives, which both have to do with stealth/sneak. If you arent using stealth at all, you can totally drop vamp and you will end up with better sustain as well.
Great build! Just curious, with the new scribing system, there are some other ways to get major breach. Have you tried any of those options rather than crushing?
Hi Dennis, thank you! I have but I didnt like what I had access to really. Ive been play testing existing and new builds on stream, adding scribing skills as well. Thats during weekdays on twitch if you are interested there. Once I have some content piled up, I am going to swing back over to TH-cam and put out a bunch of new and updated set ups for everyone. But if you want them early, I am showing the play testing live over on twitch for people.
Hi there! I honestly don't think so, but I also don't think it's necessarily a "bad" idea. There is a lot of juice in the background you get getting from stacking medium armor passives.
Hey there Lewis, thank you and you are very welcome! You definitely can use a Wood Elf but the Shadow Mundus would depend on if you can sustain it. It’s probably going to be a little tough, especially if you are abusing dodge rolls. I would try it out for a game or two. If you find yourself always out of stamina, swap back to Serpent.
I check in now and again to see how the state of the game is. Not played for a while as i hate the tanky meta. But Sheer Venom is one of my most favourite sets on this game. This still viable now? Did Way of the Fire get the nerf you thought? Looks tempting to return and try this. Ill have to join your discord because id love to eventually see if making this a 2 bar build would be even stronger. Great stuff man!
Hi there! This build still works the same and is now on a few other classes on the channel as well. This one here being my favorite: th-cam.com/video/w93WiRmocSE/w-d-xo.html Welcome back to ESO as well if you return! 💪
Cheeks. Dodge roll 🤌🏼. But, check out my response to Jorgenboi here in the comments about reinf. His profile pic is blue with the letter J to find it easier.
Hey ya !! Do you find ithis still valid for update 43 or would you put a scribbing heal or something in there? Also, do you feel a 2 bar version using left handers would work, if you load your bb up with concealed wpn, siphoning atks, flare for the 10% dam recduct, and maybe a burst heal or race against time or refreshing path?
Hi there! I use a specific scribing ability on every one of my set ups now, PvP and PvE. For PvP it replaces vigor. Here is a short explanation over it (it's not super obvious on the tool tip what it can do. Specifically, check out the dodge roll section): th-cam.com/video/hT4xOfl_jxE/w-d-xo.html&t I didn't like the 2 bar version of this set up much. With the super rolly-polly game play and constant uptime and pressure, the down time from back bar buff cycling slowed the pace way down for me. This is one of those rare builds where I feel works better, or at least right in line, with a 2 bar counterpart.
@@Dooma awesome, thanks! I was using a similar build but was WoF and Venomous smite. Looking forward to trying this one. Im always up in their faces with a bow, its like im on a bowgank, but playing like a brawler.
@@nokmuay1970 Haha that's exactly it and you are very welcome! Had I thought of that for the video I would have used that exact phrase: "It's like im on a bowgank, but playing like a brawler." That's exactly what it feels like when abusing dodge rolls, especially with contingency haha. I ended up adding the build to 2 other classes on the channel as well: Sorcerer and Arcanist. Sorcerer ended up being my favorite and I rounded that one out to a 2 bar build as well. It's a fun set up for sure.
Hi there! This was made just before Scribing launched. I do currently use Contingency on almost every build I play now (including this one). I put out this video explaining it a bit for everyone: th-cam.com/video/hT4xOfl_jxE/w-d-xo.html&t You probably saw that one though if you made this comment haha, I just wanted to make sure. It's a game changer for sure.
Love this build, it's super fun to use in BG's and cyrodiil. I was wondering, though, how good would the build be if you replaced the bow for The Master's Bow?
Awesome! I'm not sure honestly. It would require you shifting other things around as its going to take up an extra slot. So youll end up dropping something else to make room. In that context, I dont really see it worth it (on this specific set up, while keeping it 1 bar), but you never know until you try!
Since posting, I have been play testing this set up on every class, BGs and Cyro, 1 bar, and 2. I put some thoughts in discord and plan to explain everything on the next stream (looking at a bit later today, but waiting on something this morning to confirm.)
@Dooma i thought so. Do you still consider crushing weapon to be better than lethal arrow? I know lethal arrow has more burst, but am giving it a go as is
@@xPoppaSmokex Definitely run crushing with this. I ran this for a full day a week or so ago on stream and it worked super well still. Lethal just changes the flow a bit of the build to something a little different and then you lose out on the dot pressure with the Major Breach loss. It's not a 'bad' option, it just changes the build a bit to something a little different.
Hi there! Super late response, apologies. Catching up now. For this specific set up, and while leaning heavy on dodge roll game play, I recommend heavy Way of Fire chest in reinforced, and then 6 well-fitted.
Hi there! Not all 1 bar builds are better (for everyone) than the 2 bar version. There are (many) players who's performance shoot up with certain kits when used as 1 bar. Not all of them work that way, but this is definitely one of those examples. Due to the almost 100% uptime and zero back bar buff cycling, you can be much more aggressive, for more periods of time, with minimal utility/defense loss (if any at all), when used in the aggressive dodge roll way I explained. We bandaid much of our defensive loss with stacking well fitted and abusing dodge rolls, but that is also not a play style that works for everyone. Some people it clicks with and they are able to find ways to dominate, some people just never quite get it down and assume it's "trash" because they sit in death logs most of the time from trying to play the build like a Magden. It's a high mobility non stop run and gun build. When played properly and in that way, you (may) find it preforms better with 1 bar, as a chunk of the back bar will be just making up what you already have from Oakensoul which you lose down time cycling bars for. Again, very few set ups work like this. This isnt a universal thing at all. Most set ups will have a 2 bar counterpart with a bit higher ceiling, some with a much higher ceiling. I am not saying that is not the case here, but I am saying this is one of those examples where the 1 bar version, when played correctly, is right there on the heels of the 2 bar version in terms of effectiveness, for the builds intended play style. That whole take away there is "when played correctly." Some people just don't jive with that play style, and thats totally cool, theres a million ways to do it in ESO. Im habitually a terrible stamplar even during patches when they are only a few buttons and op. Regarding specific changes, I would need a good bit of play time to work it all out for what is most efficient. Check out #6 here for a bit of context: www.thegameroom.tv/build-faq
I noticed that you have the one heavy piece on the shoulders instead of the (bigger) chest? Would you get a little better resistance with the chest? Or is there a drawback I’m not seeing? Thanks!
Def used heavy chest! There are a few convos here in the comments where we talked about it. I tried to save the cost to players, wrongly assuming the chests were super expensive, but they are actually very cheap right now (or they were a few weeks ago). So I picked up a heavy chest in all the relevant traits. I go back and forth between reinforced and well fitted personally.
Hi, great build, I will test ist today 😎, but there's one thing I don't understand. You recommend Vampire Stage 2, but then you don't use a invisibility-skill?
Hi Blast, thank you! You are totally correct. Check out "Jorgenboi"'s comment and my response here in the comment. (His profile pic is blue with a white "J" to find it faster.)
@@Dooma Ok ty, I just wanted it make sure I wasn't missing somthing. Lol I put the build together to try out. I'll let you know how I do and if I make any changes. :)
Hi Richard! I-Frames are moments in games (frames) where you avoid most or all damage (I for invincibility). Proficient players can abuse these mechanics to make them difficult to kill. It's not an exploit, rather, It's is a very normal thing intentionally included in many games. Taken from google: "IFrames, also known as "invulnerability frames" or "invincibility frames", are a property that allows certain frames in an attack's animation to ignore any and all attacks without taking damage or hits, becoming completely "invulnerable/invincible" as the name suggests."
Oh yea tons of sets. But I am not sure if there are others that will work exactly like it is here. To press 1 button and apply 2 damage sets plus a dot that scales to 120% with 1 button, is (very) busted for the game. I don't see it lasting indef.
The green tree for CP doesnt have any combat related functions other than rationer and liquid efficiency to save some gold and you are looking at the pve build. Under PVP - BOW this build matches on the website.
You can skip that for now, you should be fine. Every tiny bit helps, but for the cost, that can be another time. See if you really like the set up first. Remember well-fitted traits and dodge roll heavy play style is the move here when you get into BGs with it.
@@Christian-tw3sp I can tell you the material to gold out jewelry is called Chromium Plating and they are going for about 10k each on PC NA currently. You need 8 to gold jewelry piece, so 80,000 gold, each piece.
With the Sheer Venom set it says you need to use an execute ability but i dont see one on your bar. Is this one of those situations where it still procs anyway?
Hi there! There is a few comments here where we had some back-and-forths over it if you are interested in the info there. I even dug as far into the math as I could with it and shared that as well. The tldr is, nobody really knows lol. My speculation is that the whole ability is coded as an execute due to its damage scaling, which keeps venom proccing along for it's duration.
Welcome to ESO Callum! Did you watch the whole video? I ask because I explain what you are asking in depth including showing it in slo-mo: 12:06. I suggest re-watching that whole section that goes over skills and their uses because there is a bit of info in there as well that may help.
Cool build. But why Heavy shoulders and Medium chest? Does it have any advantages comparing to Heavy chest and medium shoulders? I thought puting heavy body pieces just gives more armor... is there any other difference?
I’m really not sure. My best guess is the top end of Inject is coded as an execute for it's function like the back end maybe? That’s one of the reasons I said something like “I kind of feel this shouldn’t be working like this.” It may not even technically be an “issue” necessarily with wrong coding, that could be intentional and it’s just an extremely potent combo of 2 sets + inject. Either way, I cannot imagine this stays in the game indefinitely, especially as it starts to spread around (it’s already in a high % of my death logs now lol). It’s clearly an outlier for damage output for sure. Or, maybe it does and u42 is about to be wild.😂 Edit: Doesn't look like the top half numbers indicate any sort of execute scaling. TOP: = 3470 Poison Damage = 0.015495 MaxStat + 0.16270 MaxDamage Ultimate (Damage/Tick), R2 = 1, Ratio = 10.50 Poison Damage, Single Target, DOT Duration: 18 secs, Delay: 2 secs, Tick: 2 secs Base Value = 347 x 10 Ticks = 3470 Overall BOTTOM: = 120 Constant (Derived %) Base Value = 120 (unmodified)
Hi There! For this build and it's play style Sheer Venom is going to work better when used in the way described in the video. Syvarras is great on certain set ups like this one if you can push you weapon damage high enough in your build for a decent enough tool tip: th-cam.com/video/HiaVds_pmRQ/w-d-xo.html
As a redguard, Would you recommend going with Sugar skulls/ Shadow mundus? Also, I use scyvvara's scales due to fear of way of fire being nerfed. Is it a bit much of a nerf to the spirit of the build?
Hi Isekai! I would consider taking that in a bit different direction. Why don't you try doubling down on the strength of the Redguard and still use a sustain based food like Arteum takeaway broth. You will be able to REALLY abuse dodge rolls, which I really tried to emphasize a bunch of times in the video how powerful it is. If you run 6 well-fitted as a redguard and with sustain food, you should be impossible to lock down once you get proficient at playing the rolly-polly play style. You will be a legit nightmare to deal with. It's exactly how I play the build (without the benefits of Redguard). Regarding Syvarras, there was a period of time where it was completely broken and everyone used it. It's now kind of a shadow of its formal self. I dont remember honestly what happened with the set, it was some years ago. I've seen it around here and there and I tried to bring it back a few times myself but it was just never the same fireworks. I think there are much better options out there. Also, specifically for this build, ignoring all other things about the set, this line kills it for the build: "This effect can occur once every 7 seconds and scales off the higher of your Weapon or Spell Damage." If it said "per target" then MAYBE you could make some waves, but having a flat X seconds (without "per target") just puts it in the category of every other proc set, that limits the ability to play this build like a "run-and-gun" set up and it changes it to posting up and trying to snipe kills every x seconds. If you want to play that type of set up, there are MUCH better options out there. This build is not a gank build in any way, nor is it a post up and snipe build, and trying to play it like one, greatly weakens it. I hope this helps Isekai and thank you for watching!
@@Dooma Made the adjustments. Besides PvP GAWDS with former emperor titles, This build PERFORMS. Dooma THANK YOU once again. You did it for my necromancer with the Unfathomable Darkness/Plaguebreak build, and you've done it with this. Way of the Fire does seem to be so much more consistant, espeically when you are target swapping, 2 seconds means when they die (which they do) you have procs which can trigger procs due to the weapon damage dots already rolling. Even with having no spamable, through sheer heavy attacks and as you mention, dodge rolling with your heal ticking got me out of situations I had NO BUSINESS suriving. THANK YOU!
How would you say this stacks up against your magblade pvp build? you still running the same sets on both of these builds or did you move to tarnished+cinders? Also, I have a friend who is new and wants to play a build like this but he plays warden, do you think it could be played on warden with a few alterations? Thank you in advance, the build looks fun!
Hi there! I put this out a little while ago as a bit of an "update" for that magblade build: th-cam.com/video/sMaLQ6O2Dzw/w-d-xo.html&t Just giving some new options depending on what you are doing. Since posting this specific build, I spent quite a lot of time trying the set up on every class. I found Sorcerer to be completely amazing (and the next build coming out soon) but also the Warden and Arcanist performed great as well. For the Warden, just make sure Polar Wind is on the bars and you are g2g. Ans you are very welcome, thank you for watching!
@@LeoCage-j8j There is a few comments here where we had some back-and-forths over it if you are interested in the info there. I even dug as far into the math as I could with it and shared that as well. The tldr is, nobody really knows lol. My speculation is that the whole ability is coded as an execute due to its damage scaling, which keeps venom proccing along for it's duration.
@@Dooma Apologies if I missed it in the comments, didn't intend to make you repeat yourself! Really excited to try this out and look forward to your sorc build. Your twitch doesn't have much info on your scheduling but I'd love to throw a sub your way if there is a way to get a heads up on when you stream!
@@LeoCage-j8j Oh no, no worries at all, really. I couldn't remember all what was said in the comments but I remember there being some helpful things in there. You had no way of knowing that was even there unless you read through them all and randomly found it. Thank you for the Twitch consideration! Stream is in a strange place right now. I primarily streamed daily for some years and it wasnt until really this April I think it was that I pulled away a bit temporarily to focus on youtube and get all those builds out before Gold Road dropped. Since then I have been streaming play testing things to build up some content, then swinging back to TH-cam to release some builds (now). I don't have the flow really nailed down at all honestly. I am kind of in a grey area. In the coming months there will probably be weeks I stream all week, and some weeks where it's 1 day that with the rest TH-cam/Website. I typically start around 10-11am Central, on Weekdays when I do stream. I am aiming for the next one being this Friday (if I get the BowSorc build done by tomorrow) or Monday/Tuesday if not. There are lots of ways to get into our Discord as well, which that will check that box over on Twitch side. So once you get in there, you can start seeing more my day-to-day and what's going on. Plus it's genuinely a great friendly community in there. Check out #1 here for all the options as well if interested: www.thegameroom.tv/build-faq
This build is very fun id hate to be on the receiving end of it lol- the crushing weapon is tricky sometimes but other than that pretty solid.. using divines currently do you think roll dodge is that much better than the extra mundus? Switching between lovers and serpent atm
Awesome, I am glad you are enjoying it! Roll dodge is sort of the core of the defense here. There’s very little actual mitigation. Abusing the dodge roll will go a long way in keeping your health bar full. Likewise running the well fitted traits will make the dodge roll stam consumption exponentially less over time, allowing for more damage spam. See my response to Jorgenboi’s questions here in the comments for a small update on traits. His profile pic is blue with a white “J” to help find it faster.
Hi there! Super late response, apologies. Catching up now. I have draugrkin on a few other bow builds that did super well, so I am sure it can work well. I think better vs. worse would depend on who is playing it honestly due to the healing penalty, but it definitely should bring more team/map pressure than WoF.
Hi Jason! Oh no, that's going to be way different. Ignoring all other things about the set, this line kills it for the build: "This effect can occur once every 8 seconds and scales off the higher of your Weapon or Spell Damage." If it said "per target" then MAYBE you could make some waves, but having a flat X seconds (without "per target") just puts it in the category of every other proc set, that limits the ability to play this build like a "run-and-gun" set up and it changes it to posting up and trying to snipe kills every x seconds. If you want to play that type of set up, there are MUCH better options out there. This build is not a gank build in any way, nor is it a post up and snipe build, and trying to play it like one, greatly weakens it. There are still really solid bow gank builds and what not out there. I've been cooked by a few of them. The intent of this build was to be something completely different. After talking with some people, I can see I did a poor job differentiating between the different type of bow play styles, and players felt I lumped them all together as 1 thing. This build is meant to replace snipe type builds. Bow gank builds are a different thing entirely. There's triple procs and all kinds of gank builds out there that work fine, if that's what you want to do for pvp. I was focused on the people who are sitting 40 yards away lobbing lethals, hoping every 8 seconds they accidentally get a tarnished proc kill (that's literally what is going on for a high # of people. I have hours of footage of it in all pvp environments. I also have tons of footage of multiple lethal arrow nightblades, just tunneling lethals into me with tarnished procs endlessly (theres a clip in Discord now form a few nights ago), to prove a point I guess is what is going on, and in almost every case I ended up double-triple their damage and kills, while also participating in objectives, just kiting them around, dodgerolling their lethals. All they did was run in circles around the map, chasing 1 player, accomplishing mostly nothing. Yes of course they ended up with a few kills, but they are doing nothing but emphasizing my entire point more and more, daily.) Players swapping those builds out for something like this, will see an instant and significant increase in their performance, almost certainly. The feedback in the comments have been all the way 1 sided positive of it elevating people's play. I hope this helps make sense of it and thank you for watching!
Thanks for your time it took to respond. What you explained to me on how it's different is what appealed to me. I like to be in the thick of it. I'll build as meant to be built. Thanks again
I have never even played pvp before today. I am a pve skrublord. I have only been playing eso 1 month. I watched this video, pulled an all night bender making this exact character and went into my first bg just now. Top damage, most kills, least deaths. Thank you Vronykah and you are very welcome! 🙏

Awesome and you are very welcome!

After testing out this build I found you can just spam as much as you want
Also other ganks shred you with that anthelmir HA build, this build is way more durable.

nice work youre builds are amazing, have you a one bar bow build for pve?
Thank you very much Dutchman! I will, but after u42.
Pretty sure bloodthirsty doesn't boost dots also
I wonder how the bow necro is coming. I use to run a double bow one way back one and loved it so much!

I've been rolling WotF on just about every bow build I've played in the last 3 or 4 years, and that stealth bug has driven me CRAZY! xD
I mixed the build up with venomous smite and pillars of nirn and it works wonders too in both solo pve and pvp🤩
Haha awesome, I am glad its working for you in other content as well. 💪
Hol-E-Cow, this build is *_awesome_* fun! I've had Sheer Venom on my radar for a while now, even had the set with funky traits in my bank. This has been a great excuse to dust it off!
I've gotten into some solo and small group scraps in Cyro so far PvP wise, and it handles like a *_dream!_*
Then I thought "Hey, lets try this in PvE!"
In _real fights,_ I found this set combo (with a few skill tweaks) to be competitive with my _Pillar Relequen_ combo, like _whaat?_
So then I thought, "Fetch it, lets try a parse!"
62k, with sub-optimal enchants, traits, and un-modified CPs.

Very welcome Red, I hope you enjoy it!
Nitpicking probably, but shouldnt you put the heavy on chest rather than shoulder?
I did because it’s what I had
I put the heavy on helm so I could just buy the slime shoulders. You are right about using a major piece.
I feel you on the grind. You can try unmorphed silver bolts or lethal arrow, but it does change the output of the build due to the loss of breach.
What do you think about using venomous smite instead of way of fire/sheer venom?
Nice build there! Think this would work on dk, cause of the flame and poison damage passive?
Hi Roman! Since posting, I have been play testing this set up on every class, BGs and Cyro, 1 bar, and 2. I put some thoughts in discord and plan to explain everything on the next stream (looking at a bit later today, but waiting on something this morning to confirm.)

I've been struggling with my arcanist to make a build that works in PVP. Beam just won't hit. I tried this today and wow. My first game (ever) went over 1mil damage. Went 7/2 with 25 assists. Thank you! (25 assists! I was robbed!)
Haha that's really awesome, GREAT work and thanks so much for taking the time to come back and let me know! 💪
What skills did you slap on?
Love this build! I even soloed some pve bosses and arenas with it. If I choose siphoning instead of shadow disguise, is vampire stage still necessary? It seems that I cannot benefit from vampire passive with those skills. Thank you!
Awesome, I am glad you are enjoying the build, it's one of my favorites! Legitimately and only reason we are a vamp on this build is for the Dark Stalker and Strike from the Shadows passives, which both have to do with stealth/sneak. If you arent using stealth at all, you can totally drop vamp and you will end up with better sustain as well.
So i got the fire items, am I missinh something? You have 4 fire items and the effect only works with 5. Thanks
Wait bow counts as 2 items 😅

Great build! Just curious, with the new scribing system, there are some other ways to get major breach. Have you tried any of those options rather than crushing?
Hi Dennis, thank you! I have but I didnt like what I had access to really. Ive been play testing existing and new builds on stream, adding scribing skills as well. Thats during weekdays on twitch if you are interested there. Once I have some content piled up, I am going to swing back over to TH-cam and put out a bunch of new and updated set ups for everyone. But if you want them early, I am showing the play testing live over on twitch for people.
@@Dooma Excellent ! I'll check it out. Again, many thanks!
You are very welcome!
Is it worth giving a light helmet to gain 2% life, stamina, and mana from Dauntless' passive ability?
Hi there! I honestly don't think so, but I also don't think it's necessarily a "bad" idea. There is a lot of juice in the background you get getting from stacking medium armor passives.
hey awesome build thank you,
I was wondering would it be ok if I was using wood elf and used the shadow mundus?
This one here being my favorite: th-cam.com/video/w93WiRmocSE/w-d-xo.html
Welcome back to ESO as well if you return! 💪
Wouldn't all divines and 1 reinforced be better? Or would the defense be cheeks and it's better to roll dodge?
Cheeks. Dodge roll 🤌🏼.
But, check out my response to Jorgenboi here in the comments about reinf. His profile pic is blue with the letter J to find it easier.
@@Dooma bet thanks
Dooma would high elf work and wood elf on this? This looks fun!
Wood Elf would work well. H’elf isn’t ideal but at least you some sustain and weapon damage so not the worst choice.
Specifically, check out the dodge roll section): th-cam.com/video/hT4xOfl_jxE/w-d-xo.html&t
I didn't like the 2 bar version of this set up much.
Hey bro, why not use Ulfsild's Contingency (replacing Vigor) like in your arcanist build?
Oh, and also, how would you go about modding this build for a necro? Viable at all? Or warden maybe
Since posting, I have been play testing this set up on every class, BGs and Cyro, 1 bar, and 2. I put some thoughts in discord and plan to explain everything on the next stream (looking at a bit later today, but waiting on something this morning to confirm.)
what is better: sheer venom or order's wrath?
Sheer Venom is the centerpiece of this build.
@@Dooma thanks for your answer
@@gideonjura9695 You are very welcome and I am glad, thank you for the comment!
With the new update... would you replace vigor with healing contingency?
Yes. I am using HC on every 1 bar build I play currently. Both pvp and pve.
The gear snapshot in the video has differing traits compared to the written guide link. Which would you recommend?
Hi there! Super late response, apologies. Catching up now. For this specific set up, and while leaning heavy on dodge roll game play, I recommend heavy Way of Fire chest in reinforced, and then 6 well-fitted.
Apologies if I missed it, is it get health to 30k then dump the rest into stamina?
It's the second sentence when build instruction starts at 2:16.
Think this can be made to work as a 2 bar build? If so waht would you add?
Check out #6 here for a bit of context: www.thegameroom.tv/build-faq
what can you use to replace Crushing Weapon i fyou dont have that skill line?
You can try a morph of snipe or unmorphed silver bolts, but this change is not 1:1. It greatly impacts the build (negatively).
Hi Alexander! There are 2 options for the set up. One with and one without stealth. I would definitely consider stage 2 for the one with stealth.
Great build. One question tho. Why take heavy on the shoulders and not chest? Wouldn't you get more armor?

@@Dooma Ok ty, I just wanted it make sure I wasn't missing somthing. Lol I put the build together to try out. I'll let you know how I do and if I make any changes. :)
What is an eye frame? 15:00
Hi Richard! I-Frames are moments in games (frames) where you avoid most or all damage (I for invincibility). Proficient players can abuse these mechanics to make them difficult to kill. It's not an exploit, rather, It's is a very normal thing intentionally included in many games.
Taken from google:
"IFrames, also known as "invulnerability frames" or "invincibility frames", are a property that allows certain frames in an attack's animation to ignore any and all attacks without taking damage or hits, becoming completely "invulnerable/invincible" as the name suggests."
Does anything else work with way of the fire besides sheer vemon? Grinding through a dungeon for hours doesn't sound fun right now lol
Oh yea tons of sets. But I am not sure if there are others that will work exactly like it is here. To press 1 button and apply 2 damage sets plus a dot that scales to 120% with 1 button, is (very) busted for the game. I don't see it lasting indef.
Ive been running the same build, skills and all except incap ult and poisonous serpent set instead of sheer venom.
Awesome Serine! How is that combo working for you?
Didnt see a green tree in your writing one.. your video shows bow but it shows 2 dagger
The green tree for CP doesnt have any combat related functions other than rationer and liquid efficiency to save some gold and you are looking at the pve build. Under PVP - BOW this build matches on the website.
What alteration would you recommend making for a Bosmer?
Hi Louie! Since we arent really taking advantage of the Khajiit with CP here, you are totally good to go. Bosmer isnt a bad fit at all. 💪
Bro how easy is it to get gold mats to upgrade necklace. Purp necklaces are 10k gold is 35k wondering if its worth it
You can skip that for now, you should be fine. Every tiny bit helps, but for the cost, that can be another time. See if you really like the set up first. Remember well-fitted traits and dodge roll heavy play style is the move here when you get into BGs with it.

Question. Sheer venom set is proc by an execute skill. Is that correct? So how is sheer venom working? With the build
Or, maybe it does and u42 is about to be wild.😂
Edit: Doesn't look like the top half numbers indicate any sort of execute scaling.

Should i be using sheer venom or Syvarra's Scales because the damage on
Syvarra's Scales looks higher

Would Draugarkin work better than Way of Fire?
Hi there! Super late response, apologies. Catching up now.
I have draugrkin on a few other bow builds that did super well, so I am sure it can work well. I think better vs. worse would depend on who is playing it honestly due to the healing penalty, but it definitely should bring more team/map pressure than WoF.
Would i have the same results if I substitute Way of Fire for Red Mountain or am i missing the whole point?
