Stay tuned! We have another stream together this coming Monday on Twitch, it'll be uploaded to TH-cam within a week of that! He's discussing a chosen passage from The Bhagavad Gita with us :)
Amazing interview, amazing content! A lot of food for thought. OMG, brilliant!... Please keep up the great work! Initially I was hesitant buying Craig Williams's books from Anathema, because I thought that his books may be distant from my field of interest. But after listening to this interview I'll have Entering the Desert among my next purchase for sure. And then his other books. Thank you, both of you!
Thanks so much for the kind words! I'm very pleased to hear that this interview was the deciding factor in your purchase of the book. You certainly won't be disappointed! May I ask what your field of interest usually is, since you mentioned that?
@@ThisIsDarknessZine Initially I was interested in hermetic philosophy, then I wanted (and still want) to know more about Kabbalistic views, and the Norse mythology and mysticism fascinates me tremendously. It's only since the past ~3 years that I became interested in and started considering investigating various religions in general for their functional purpose. This was after I've came across a brilliant video essay on youtube that made an effort defining what religion is at all. (I'd happily send that video over to you if you're interested.) I realized that I'm mainly interested in two things by now: the topic of how we attempted to understand the world around us throughout history, and the topic of how people as tribes, clans, nations or other social groups create and use a set of common values, guidelines and laws to stay and navigate in this non-zero sum, infinite game that we call life, together. And I don't mean politics and ethics -- rather, what moves us to create these dynamics the first place: philosophy and psychology. So, fast-forward to this year, around Summer I accidentally discovered FoolishFish and his book reviews, then I went down the rabbit hole, and finally discovered rich sources of knowledge with these publishers and authors like Craig Williams. I can't wait to read and study his materials. :)
Great interview and talk. Lot of insights and food for thought. I am currently reading 'Entering the Desert' and really enjoying it. It is my first Craig Williams book and definitely not the last.
A question I have is, do practices change as a person ages, and also do they change based on their sex? My experience is that this is happening organically as I approach 60…
Much RESPECT to Craig Williams man. CoG ALL DAY.
Great Interview.
