Just when we thought things couldn't get any worse...
The nightmare of contemporary existence just gets more nightmarish, and today we're meant to celebrate... what exactly?
In light of current events, we're now donating half of every sale of the HYSTAGRAM - RED EDITION shirts to the ACLU. It's not much, but it's something.
Oddly enough, in the past few days I've found myself in a burst of creative motivation, having completed the audio for TARNISHED SILVER, the first release by NTT as the original duo of Scott Walker and myself, in over two decades.
The CIPHER PRODUCTIONS cassette edition of PEOPLE ARE WEAK THEY DESERVE PAIN by THEOLOGIAN is also in progress.
With the September 2 APEX XXV 25th label anniversary show, and the recent "official" announcement of the CLOISTER RECORDINGS DOMINION OF FLESH USA festival lineup, taking place September 3-4, I'm now finding myself actually looking forward to *something* for the first time in a long while. It will be great to spend time with so many good friends and compatriots, and we're hosting a bunch of folks at our house that weekend, so it should be suitably insane times.
THIS IS DARKNESS joins us in presenting a short promotional programme showcasing upcoming events and releases, featuring an audio/video collage for the forthcoming DEEP BURIAL split cassette by UK noise artists PRIOR and GROT, created by Jase Daniels of GROT.
Due to technical issues with our Square online shop, the new preorders have been put on Bandcamp, and the links below have been fixed to reflect that (shrug). Eventually, we do hope to transition away from that platform, but maybe entropy will win.
