There are actually only 18 extant subspecies of Grey Wolf (Canis lupus), the Red Wolf (Canis rufus), White Wolf (Canis albus), New Guinea Singing Dog (Canis hallstromi), and Dingo (Canis dingo) are all separate species, there are only two extant subspecies of Red Wolf (Canis rufus), those being the Timber Wolf (Canis rufus lycaon) and the Texas Red Wolf (Canis rufus rufus), the White Wolf (Canis albus) has seven recognized extant subspecies, the Tundra Wolf (Canis albus albus), the Arctic Wolf (Canis albus arctos), the Hudson Bay Wolf (Canis albus hudsonicus), the Mackenzie River Wolf (Canis albus mackenzii), the Baffin Island Wolf (Canis albus manningi), the Greenland Wolf (Canis albus orion), and the Barren-Ground Wolf (Canis albus tundrarum).
Taking notes to help discover my theriotype!
Same!!
This is an excellent video. The segmented videos and photos are great. But I really miss the talking fox, the intro music, the crinkly paper, the MW stamp, and the animal characters in the interim "subscribe" button section - which I now believe is your "signature". Nevertheless, I learned a lot - as usual.

Cool viedo
What about the "lobo guara" from Brazil?
It's a wolf as well, and a beautiful one at that
lobo guara is an unique and beautiful animal. It's not classified as a wolf however, it's the only species in the genus Chrysocyon (meaning "golden dog")
@@MajesticWildlife I later found out about this...
So I stand corrected
