🙏Om Namo Bhagavate Shri Ramanay
What is it that recognizes that it will never die? When Bhagavan was ill but then realized he would never die, what realized? It cannot be the ego because the ego must die. Yet the ego is the agent of cognition. So then, what is it that can recognize eternity? Eternity must be inconceivable to ego. Perhaps the very recognition of eternity is itself eternity.
Ego is only the agent of cognition for the phenomenal world but not for that what we truly are.
That what we truly are is not eternity, it’s beyond time and physical parameters.
There is either ego or atma-svarupa, both are mutually exclusive. Thus there is no recognition of that what will never die.
Ego will simply fade away and what remains is that what truly only existed in the first place.
We are always aware of what we truly are however we all are distracted by phenomena and this world which IS actually ego.
As soon as we completely refrain from attending to phenomena pure awareness is left, that what is never born and never dies.
This is a wrong question. It implies fear and insecurity. One should learn to surrender to unknown and accept thought of non-existence. All this gathering of knowledge and what someone said just builds up ego.
there are no wrong questions.
to think that there are wrong questions, is non-acceptance of the appearance of the world, as it is.
to think that the world should be other than what it is, is a fantasy, and disturbs the mind.
