Hello everyone, I just opened my channel, I upload a new video every week. If you like and subscribe to my videos to reach my first goal of 1000 subscribers, you will make me very happy. Thank you..
Great idea and easy to follow video. What was the liquid in the jar at the end you used to darken the wood? I'm looking to do some projects using old, reclaimed wood and I don't know if I should use sealant, shellac, etc. I just want to protect the finished product and help maintain it's natural aged look. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Interesting, I never considered a plant oil. Any idea how long and well that will protect the wood? Have you tried olive oil or any other plant based oils? Thanks for replying. I know you probably get hundreds of questions and comments a day.
@@wesleysnellgrove Hello again. It is not as protective as paints and chemicals, but we can achieve its most natural appearance with oil. All vegetable oils give the same result. It is sufficient to use indoors. Good work, thank you.

I just open mine last year. Good luck to ya. Fun stuff
@@davidvasher6752 Thank you, I just started. Glad to see you..
Finally someone who makes something beautiful without 50k worth of festool tools, cnc and a fully equipped workshop. Just how i like it👌🏻
Thank you very much Martijn Jonkers, I try to make beautiful things as much as I can. I am glad you like it.
Exactly! Those epoxy resin tables/worktops are incredible. Then they run it through a CNC machine and I am like
"yeah, I don't have one of those" 😐
That's a great job
Thank you very much...:)
Awesome job
Thank you very much..!
Man man man, ihr seit echt knusper 😅
Macht bloß weiter so!
🎉
Thanks a lot my friend, see you in my new videos.. :)

Thank you very much. I used vegetable oil. I think it is better to leave the products with their most natural appearance. :)

Хорошо получилось. Как лампочку менять?
Спасибо.. Верх я не клеил, только кнопки. Так что поменять не так уж и сложно.
Светильник зачётный.Вопрос,как лампочку менять?
Thank you very much, we need to pray that the bulb does not break😅😅
Great job ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you very much..!
Changing the bulb would be a challenge. But this is a beautiful lamp!
I hope the bulb explodes :) I'm so glad you like it.
@@captainmakerofficial LOL!!! Yes indeed, that would be something to see! Using an LED bulb would be the way to go.
That's true... :)
Looks amazing. Can I ask you what sanding attachment you used on you grinder please?
Thank you very much.. Angle grinder sanding disc backing pad + 150 grit sandpaper.
Great idea
Thank you..:)
Hi! May i ask why you did that carving around 5:42 in the video? Is it for "ventilation" or anything else?
Nice job! Turned out great 👍👍
Thank you so much. I love recycling.
I love this idea and would like to try it out for my home. I think I missed it, but is the globe simply friction fit in there? I adore it. Thanks!
I am so glad you liked it. You can do it easily, there is no problem.. :)
Curious.....I love the lamp, but one will have to dismantle it to change that 'edison bulb'!
I didn't glue the top, just the thumbtacks. So it's not that hard to change. Thanks.. :)
Looking to make this. Could you tell me what you used for the 4 metal sides? Is it metal trim? Thanks
Hi.. I used 4 pieces of 33 cm aluminum angle bar for the sides. Good work..
@@captainmakerofficial thank you brethren
Good work man !!!!! 👍👍👍
Thank you very much.. :)
What does the Code "BR" mean on the side of the block> I know MB means danger and to not use... Is BR something similar? Thanks
I don't know exactly what it means. The wood has not undergone any treatment and is not harmful to health. Thanks..
