    Hey, Keagan. I'm Panamanian and I enjoyed watching your video highlighting your adventures in my hometown. You're just a funny dude, although I'm not sure if the alcohol consumption had something to do with your humorous remarks during the tour. You cracked me up with the ATV ride deal. Will have to check some of your other videos to see if you're this hilarious all the time.
    Either way, I hope you enjoyed your stay in our country, although judging by this video, I reckon you did. Take care.

    Hello Keagan F. ! I just came across your channel.... and truly enjoyed the video on your journey trip to Panama! Thank you for the tour which I truly enjoyed very much. Can't wait to go on the tour bus and visit the Panama Canal one day soon! You are surely a hilarious funny man and was simply glued! to your video..... from beginning till end. Sorry about your hat, perhaps someone found it and gave it a home. 😇😇

    Also, check out the history. Thousands and thousands of people died building that canal.

    It was interesting how underwhelmed you were with the Canal. Of course you only saw one set of locks and that is like eating three bites of a new dish and not liking it. I highly recommend that anyone who will be visiting Panama to read the Path Between the Seas. It gives you a really appreciation for the undertaking the Canal really was. I also recommend visiting the Gaillard Cut, Gamboa, Gatun, Gatun Locks, Gatun Dam, etc. as well as riding the train across the isthmus. These sites will give you a different perspective as well.

    At the begining was low tide. On Pacífic tide difference is huge.

      Yep, thanks for letting him know so I didn't have to. Just a little bit of research prior to the trip would have been better for the video and the viewers.

    Also, those little vehicles that are on either side of the canal that go up and down those tracks, they help to guide the boats and ships through so that they don’t touch the sides.

    You're videos are interesting but educating yourself before calling the Canal a "grift", would have left you with less egg on your face. You called that $1000.00 transit a grift. That sailboat came through alone, meaning they had to pump 26.7 MILLION gallons of fresh water to load just one lock. And just for him. These massive pumps have enormous power demands. The hydraulic system needed to open the massive doors have to be powered, the enormous valves to discharge the water need to be powered and maintained. This had to be scheduled, supervised and made safe for the entire transit. Besides, did you consider the cost had he traveled the 8,000 miles (about 2 months in good weather) around the cape?

    The white building with red tile and bars on windows is an old military base. Perhaps now a prison/ courthouse

    It never ceases to amaze me how people post travel vlogs which look nice but tell you nothing, as the host doesn't seem to have done any research (by even reading the Rough Guide or Fodor!). Also, I presume the journey is the usual "hop on/hop off", so better to start early, and then you have time to visit the places like Mi Pueblito, so then the host and his viewers would at least know what it was. What you thought a "prison" was the capital of the US-run Canal Zone at Balboa, now mostly government agency offices etc and, as the buildings are classic US style as built in the likes of Pearl Harbor for the military, you'd think a gringo would recognise them. Incidentally, I think the best day to do the bus trip is Sunday, when the traffic is not so mad. And they are not alligators - they are crocodiles, big ones too! Maybe I am being picky, but...

      Again, thanks for explaining, so I didn't have to! 😂 ... I'm from the U.S. and have been to Panama many times. I would think someone doing a vlog on TH-cam would do a little more research before just hopping in cold and ignorant when it comes to Panama , the culture and its history.

  • @ahlivetuhsidamaro150
    @ahlivetuhsidamaro150 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Of course they had to pay $1000. That’s actually nothing to someone who owns a sailboat like that. Also, it sounded to me like there was a bar and restaurant a little bit higher up. I would’ve liked to of seen that. Oh well I’m going in a few days, so I’ll see it myself. :-)

  • @guillermogouldburn763
    @guillermogouldburn763 ปีที่แล้ว

    I guess it's just like the Statue of Liberty or the Eiffel Tower except world commerce would be perfectly fine without those two. By the way, boats would have to pay 10 times as much if they chose to sail around South America (more fuel, more time and longer distance) ad up to much more money.

    If you're an attractive female, in Panama, you could sell warm top water on a plastic cup 🥤 and men will buy it 😅 3.00 dollars and that works in every country in the world. A female youtuber sold her bath water and some dude bought it and made mac and cheese. In the Philippines, young attractive women would go out with any rich tourist, treat him like a king 🤴.
    Great video, you had the tour bus to yourself 🚌 Going to subscribe
