Hi, I just bought a road star 1700. Planning on doing some repairs on it. Whats the deal with that loose screw/shaft that goes through the little bearing you changed? (5:50 to 6:00 minute) I see that that piece has a thread, or at least looks like, but there's no nut, it's just like hanging loose there.
Having same problem. Replaced everything and now it feels like it's locked up. I havent started it or even pu t oil back in it. Was trying to retention the cable and haven't got it yet.

I did this exactly like you have done. My clutch lever keeps being wayyy to loose. Ive adjusted it in all different ways but it wont tighten at all. Any ideas?
I know down by the clutch, it seems the spring isnt engaging to bring it back so when I pull the lever, it just stays in position. Maybe I did something wrong or need a new spring now that the plates are replaced?
@@15LoydsCustom I ended up getting it. I didnt realize that the the plate that holds the clutchplates in was supposed to click into place to cover the gap.
@jusdivinum3354 the end. We all want to see the readjustment of the cable an such. Seems everyone is having the same problem at the end with retensioning.
I noticed you didn't line up the notched tab properly on your friction plate at 4:26 what's the reason for that? Second of all instead of playing stupid ass music the whole video why not explain what you're doing and why. This could've been a good video if you had done that instead
Cut the damn music and explain some stuff I agree with this guy. The song was stupid and sometimes you need that little extra detail. Especially when you got it sped up so fast you gotta rewind the damn video 100 times to make sure you seen it all. Blink and kiss something crucial

Hello check first if all the gears are having noise? From 1-6 gears

Adjust the arm/lever in the engine

Yes because it will deformed when you change the clutch plate
