For a little perspective, this car is faster than a Lamborghini Contact and a Ferrari F355 spider!! :-) 13.5 quarter mile at 106mph. I just bought one, a 2013 with 1249 miles on it with the full factory 4 year 50K free maintenance. Originally $63K, I paid 34K. These cars are awesome. Period. Way better deal than a regular 335i. No issues whatsoever so far. Unreal. If you are considering a 328i, consider this car (if you can even find one) There were only about 1,500 sold in the us. To top it off, I am getting 35.6 mpg on the highway. Just did a 500 mile trip and got 35.6 !!!! On shorter trips I'm getting over 40! Crazy!
Hi I just found out I can’t charge my US-Spec BMW i8 overseas in Germany 🇩🇪 so sad as while on vacation or you looking to use your American i8 but us spec can’t use hybrid cars in Europe I went to both Bmw dealership German and our on Base military sales he said this why they don’t offer hybrid overseas US-spec. The plug 🔌 is different that’s sadly to hear thought it was Universal plug 🔌. I even contact a military member who had an i8 over in germany for his duty time he confirmed it “ Can’t charge in Germany unless you buy typ1 to typ2 adapter “ ! ... But would that void warranty most answers yes. So needs a lot off improvement on electric ⚡️ and universal plugs 🔌. Or if WHY WHY not universal for electric ⚡️ cars
