    Hi Nerida! You were nice enough to answer a question for me, and then pinned it else where; but I can't remember where it was, and I had a brief follow-up. I told you I was 47, and the only issue I was having was a little creepiness under the eyes and some dark circles that weren't too bad. I knew you'd suggest rejuvi gel- and you did! You also said to use some of the q Flavonoid before going in with the eye gel. I had both products on hand, plus the rejuvi eye cream.So being that it's winter here in Michigan, should I use the q Flavonoid, followed by the eye gel, and finally the eye cream on the eye? My skin has never broken out in my life. It can handle anything. Thank you so much. You're the best- really.

    I always have my reservations about facials that involve tools because from watching Nerida's videos for years now and hearing her say that hands are the best tools for facials it's kind of in my mind that facial treatment equipment are bad but after seeing her use this and explain it's benefits maybe I won't be so quick to shy away from facials that have "high tech" tools used in the service...

    Hi Nerida, i’m a colleague from Hamburg Germany. I love your videos and often realise how differently we sometimes work, which makes it even more interesting for me to watch videos from other countries. Nevertheless, I needed to mention here which I thought was very very important that ALL electrical devices, especially with currencies ( RF/ HF / Ultrasound etc) which we use on our body, especially in the deeper levels of our skin or muscles (epidermis / dermis / subcutis level) you need to avoid the thyroid glands.
    These devices can be sooooo damaging if one doesn’t avoid the thyroid glands!
    I couldn’t watch without mentioning this because of how dangerous it can be. Maybe you could mention it somewhere in your description box, so no harm ist done🙏😊 Carrie

    Hi Nerida! Love your videos! At my spa the nuface quick lift is sold as a $20-$40 add on and we also sell the device. Knowing the nuface is meant to be used 5 days a week for best results and that a single treatment may only have an effect for 2-3 days I have a hard time justifying in treatment upgrades versus suggesting they purchase one for home use. What would your advice be to feel better about using it only once in a while during a treatment and feeling it is worth the client's money? Thanks!

    • @NeridaJoySkincare
      @NeridaJoySkincare  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes, it is great if the client has it at home, BUT it is also an excellent boost whenever your client comes in too. It stimulates cell metabolism and creates movement that offers something special too:))

    Hi Nerida! Thanks for a wonderful detailed video 👍🏻 i have a question: my skin is very sensitive and rosacea prone on cheeks if i use the wrong products. Nuface gel burns my face every time, its very unpleasant and i had to stop using the device because of that. I’ve tried aloe vera gel but it also burnt my face :( maybe it had some additives in it that also caused sensitivity. Do you have a good substitute for sensitive skin? I love the effect of the machine its just about finding a gel that works for me, thanks so much in advance!! 🙏🏻💚

      that's interesting, maybe its aloe vera itself thats irritating you but with the NuFace device you can use any type of face gel that you like as long as it doesnt have oil in it. Many NuFace usere buy the cheapest gel they find at any store thats near them. I myself use an aloe vera gel thats 99% aloe vera and some additives I believe.

    Hello, maybe a silly question but where do you purchase your disposable sponges ? I' m a small business owner so buying the wrong ones and throwing them away because they are not good can add up for me financially. Thank you in advance

      When ordering Rejuvi products Nerida also had sponges available and they are the softest I have ever used.

    my skin is sensitive but dry and my pores seem clogged and my skin feels dull and more textured. Would an acid exfoliant help with that?

    • @devon.pfeifer
      @devon.pfeifer 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hydrate the skin with antioxidants, ceramides, and topical vitamins to keep the skin soft and soothed. Do that for a few days and then you can start using a low strength exfoliant to help buff away any dry cells that haven’t shed, and continue nourishing your skin with those nutrients.

    Beautiful facial. NuFace is probably an ok device for many people but their gel is full of bad ingredients. After only 5 days of using it it damaged my skin to the point that I ended up in an Emergency Room and my skin is not sensitive and I don't have allergies. It took 6 weeks for my skin to look normal.

    I'm trying to imagine who has the chutzpah to give Nerida an attitude (I'm embellishing, I know) about the tools she uses being 'disposable' (especially when they're biodegradable, as she says)... 😳 I'd be like 'I think 40+ years of being a bad*ass qualifies you to make your choice, here' 😬 🤣

      Hi Paulukee, yes I saw that too 😵I’m also an esthetician in Hamburg Germany … I really like Nerida’s Videos but she does slip up every now and then with a few mistakes and that was unfortunately one of them. Nevertheless we’re all human. 😊Btw (for all those that are asking about the masks and gloves ) you can not always wear gloves for certain treatments or parts of the treatments because of the currency or even to analyse the skin, etc! But please definitely always wear gloves during the extractions !!!! And because of the mask situation during the pandemic obviously yes you need to wear it. The rest is commonsense whether when to wear a mask or not to.😉 I hope I could help. Have a great time doing facials. Carrie

  • @judylopatin6110
    @judylopatin6110 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Nerida, you are just plain irresponsible for not wearing a mask in the midst of a pandemic.. Even Asian facialists do. Why do you feel so entitled? I’ve been watching you for a couple of years. No more. And btw, for those of your diehard fans, they might also be tired of your saying “very important “ every couple minutes.

    • @devon.pfeifer
      @devon.pfeifer 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Judy, have you taken the time to ask what she’s done in preparation for this video? I ask you this because it’s been a long time since she created a facial video-do you think maybe it’s possible for her to have had her and her model have testing prior to filming? She recently did this for a webinar class for two models she worked on. It’s not wise to assume things you don’t know for sure. If you were that concerned, maybe you could have just asked?
      And I don’t have any problem with her using the words “very important”. I like to take notes sometimes, and it gives me audio cues for things that I can mark as important information that help me to retain it. I think there are many other things to stress over than that type of word choice.

      Nerida, please keep sharing and educating. One thing you are not is entitled!
