I Live Above A Mall In Miami, FL For $4,150/Month | Unlocked
I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money investing. For example last year I invested 80k in stocks and made about $246k,but guess what? I put it all back and traded again and now I am rounding up close to a million
You work for 40yrs to have $1m in your retirement, Meanwhile some people are putting just $10k in a meme coin for just few months and now they are multi millionaires. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life
Thanks for continuing updates I'd rather trade the stock market as it's more profitable. I make an average of $34,500 per week even though I barely trade myself.
I'm favoured financially, Thank you Jesus $32,000 weekly profit regardless of how bad it gets on the economy.
How
..? Am a newbie in crypto investment, please can you guide me through on how you made profit?
Thanks to Mrs Maria Davis.
A $900 increase in rent in one year is insane. $900 is a lot of people's rent lol
if that happened in nyc everyone would be talking about it
Where is rent $900?
My prev apt building in San Jose had rent increases ranging from 300 to 1200! I was on the lower end (500) but that was enough for me to leave 😂
@@rarejourneysDelaware
She got a Covid deal in 2021, feel like it was pretty common to have your rent (in HCOL cities) jacked up like that. My first year rent in nyc in 2021 was $2600 and in 2022 it went to $3250.
She overpaid for rent, and the landlord still increased her rent.... how do i become a landlord in miami?
U need $50m
Build above the mall lol.
Can’t believe she “offered over asking” to RENT… cost of living these days is insane. Not an exaggeration.
Dang, I checked their career site and the pay for a VP is between 140k-190k. Let's say it's 170k, her take home (after tax) is 10500 monthly, Good for her, but she's still paying 40% of her income on rent.
Yeah thats crazy. I hope she has a plan to expand her wealth.
gotta live like a human
Thanks for checking what we were all thinking!!
It don’t matter really. Women like her date men that easily make 10x her income.
She’s likely making around $140-$160K after taxes considering her age and lack of experience. That’s only $6.67K per month after taxes. She would be taxed at 50%. I wouldn’t be surprised if her rent is closer to 60-70% of her income.
the fridge being completely empty.... rich people wild bro
It's for drinks, don't be silly 😂😂
she can't cook no surprise - she's a takeout chef, once u make at least 100k eating out isn't a big deal if you're frugal otherwise.
Can't imagine paying that much in rent. And then the mall is another temptation to get her to spend even more money
exactly
You pay 4K for rent with one bedroom wtf
Location, location, location.

It's 1200 Square ft though, so the size is quite large even though it's one bedroom

Her rent increase is why I left Miami in 2022. Our apartment went up 2,000$ in one lease cycle. Like I’m sorry who can afford that?

planning is an important aspect of financial stability. It’s crucial to make informed decisions and seek expert advice.
It is very crucial to know that planning to earn in today's market is an intricate process that necessitates not only strategic foresight but also expert guidance. It's paramount to align ourselves with seasoned financial advisors who can steer our investments toward optimal growth.
I don’t think i need a finance advisor. I can manage my own finances and investments. I don’t want to pay someone to tell me what to do with my hard earned cash.
That is a risky attitude, my friend you might be missing out on some valuable opportunities and strategies that a finance advisor can offer. A finance advisor can help you plan for your short term and long-term goals, optimize the tax situation, diversify your portfolio, and avoid costly mistakes.
I agree with you.A finance advisor can also provide you with objective and unbiased advice, especially when you are facing emotional or stressful situations. They can help you stay on track and avoid making an impulsive decisions that can harm your financial future.
People downplay planner’s role, until they are burnt by their mistakes. That’s why I’ve been working with expert planners like ERIC PAUL ELMER.
This is the issue with renting. They keep putting all these stupid amenities in when people just want a decent sized apartment to live in.
I'm based in London, UK and people have been complaining here about the apartments costs. My sister in america says people are complaining about them too.
We dont need spas, clubhouses, private dining areas and events. They charge loads of extra fees for them too.
We just want a long term rental that doesn't cost half the earth to afford.
I hear you, but as this example shows there are people who want and will pay for those amenities. Im sure the apartment building is over 90% occupied too even at those prices.
@@02nupe I agree for some these amenities are useful and they're happy to pay for them. The problem is that when looking for apartments these are the main ones that are advertises. Any normal properties are taken quickly because landlords are selling up!
There are more than enough choices in the US to not choose an apartment with those amenities - no one is forcing you to pick apt's that are ultra luxury. This apartment is in Brickell which is THE prime location in Miami right now.
No.
That's roughly $50k per year. In 10 years you'll pay $500,000 in rent. Imagine the equity in a home
The problem many young millenials have is having enough money for a down payment. They can afford the monthly mortgage its just having 150k to put down on a house thats hard. That is why you see sooooo many luxury apartments being built. The next generation cant afford a home but they make enough to afford a nice luxury apartment with all the bells and whistles.
@@Tkenny35 imagine if they didn't rent luxury and saved for a deposit. then they could become home owners.
Nice place. Unfortunate that shopping and living on top of a mall
is more of a priority than investing in her future. Assets & Equity good people. Assets & Equity. Real estate is a path to financial freedom for many. Kudos to her landlord. Smart guy/lady

That’s not a ‘Service Dog’, and it’s an insult to people who actually have and need a true service animal. Typical arrogance & smugness of people who use this ruse. smh
I agree. I'm a psychiatrist and I now straight up refuse to fill out letters for service dogs to enter apartment buildings where pets are prohibited. Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. Building wealth involves developing good habits, such as regularly setting aside money for sound investment...
Money invested is far better than money saved, when you invest it gives you an opportunity to increase your financial worth
It's remarkable how long term advantage people like us have gotten trying to be consistently not stupid, instead of trying to be very intelligent
The wisest thing that should be on everyone's mind currently should be to invest in different streams of income that doesn't depend on government paycheck. Especially with the current economic crisis around the world , this is still a time to invest in Stocks, Forex and Digital currencies
I keep seeing how lots of people testify about how they make money from stocks, Forex and crypto currencies (BTC) and i wonder why i keep losing.. Can anyone help me out or at least advise me on what to do 🙏.

Her rent was double my mortgage payment when I lived in Broward. LOL!!!!
You are way too generous to your landlord. Way too generous!
Wow she fits right in with her fake service dog like everyone else in Miami!
Her apartment is very expensive but she's paying for location, convenience and to be closer to her parents, as she stated. There's no shame or harm in that. I do hope she is still saving for retirement.
I'd rather buy a place than pay rent at that price. That's a hefty premium for the novelty of living on top of a mall. Imagine if you could invest half of that rent money...?
Miami rent is stupid.
Good for her, hopefully she, her dog and her landlord will live happily ever after... Knowing that because of people like this lady , from out of state who came to South Florida offering more money for rent forced us to move out from our home after living there for 16 years ...

Totally!.
In Louisiana she could have a 5000-6000sqft home for $4300mth
I live in Orlando next to a luxury mall and pay $1,500 for a 1 bd. $4,150 is insane.
What kind of job does she have that she thinks 4300 per month rent for a 1 bedroom is a good deal? Especially when her utilities are less than 150...
The one that she currently has right now that is affording her that lifestyle
My mortgage for 2 properties is still under what she pays for rent lol
What state and city? That’s crazy
It is not most people's first, ideal or future choice, however it is hers. It is her choice, she is happy, and she can afford it. May not be what I would do or how I would live, but I am happy that she is in her happy space.
Crazy what some people get for their money. I live in a 4500 Sq-Ft house with 2 car garage, large driveway and yard with a home value well over $2M and my mortgage is less then her rent. Her square-footage is like me living in my primary bedroom when including bathroom and walk-ins.. But to be honest, if I was single id love to rent that place for a year or 2, just at the original monthly rate of $3300.
This is not something to be proud of. The fact that you need to pay 4k monthly for such small apartment shouldn’t be considered a deal, especially an apt located on a mall (wow big deal)…Miami is so overrated .. I’ve lived in Miami all my life, and I’m a homeowner, and many of us are struggling to keep up with our bills due to the current housing market situation, high cost of living, and it is so sad, one of the causes are people like you, that used to live in NY with huge salaries and decided to come to live here and pay whatever rent the landlord decides as you can perfectly manage because of your NY salary. Not your fault per se,but for sure one of the consequences of the Covid and post covid times, and of this poisoned system.
Agree 100% Seems like Miami really got screwed over after Covid with all these people from CA and NY moving down to Miami with their salaries from other states. This has only made Miami become extremely expensive and driven out a lot of the locals. Soon, only the rich will be able to afford this city. I have no idea where much needed blue collar workers are going to live 🤷🏻♀️
Just buy a house. Your paying way too much in rent
Apartment has nice views, its the lack of ownership that long term maybe a problem as she gets older. Coupled with how Jobs aren't stable and you don't have a place of your own can be problematic. Wish her the best now and long term.. Hope she is investing some money.
She needs a service dog? Yeah right! Abusing laws as many people do unfortunately
Yeah, that little ankle biter is most definitely not a service dog.
Any dog can be a service dog.
I think what a lot of folks in the comments get wrong about her spending 4K on an apartment is they see it from a utility stand point and that it is exorbitant to pay that much for a one-bedroom apartment but for her, she's willing to pay 4k for a life that makes her happy. She's paying for happiness.
yeah but it is set for ruin imagine her losing her job there is no way she'll be able to pay with most jobs even if she found another one and if she does have money saved will be gone in 2-3 months
@@queen.kristal8395 disagree because i pay similar in houston and once you get in that type of environment everyone around you is making money and pulls you up. I've been living in Miami my whole life. It's a crime what they have done to the prices out here. No one in their right mind who has lived here and knows the area would ever pay that price. That's why they have outsiders pay extra to "make sure they get the place" girl please . ....you got bamboozled. Part of the price problem is not doing the research before moving and offering thousands more than what's it's worth. Absolutely disgusting. Sad...
For people who have never lived in any of the major 10 cities in America (I've lived in 4) please understand $4k in kansas in a 5 bedroom mansion is not the same as $4k in san Francisco or miami or new york. I own a property in Manhattan and bill my tenant $5k its a 1 bedroom but a 1 bedroom in manhattan varies (harlem or soho? Doorman or walk-up?) Also miami has had a major influx of rich new yorkers who have helped contribute to the rising living costs in all of Florida - so florida is still cheaper (tax wise) than living in a box in manhattan. Parking spots and balconys are normal amenities in almost all miami apartments whereas in new york these are not always offered and considered a luxury and 1 parking spot (not a covered garage) can on average raise your rent by $200/month in new york. So again for people not familiar with real estate in america or inflation, real estate is all about location not bedrooms or size. Blame the pandemic for real estate migration patterns and blame Biden for inflation, not the woman renting because she clearly has the money to pay for it. Let's not be bitter at her.
I live in a major city near her. Our MORTGAGE is $2600 a month, and we will eventually own the place. She will never own her apartment...

$4100? That’s crazy!! Not because it’s a lot which it is…. but for that amount of money you should be living in a much better place. Maybe because you moved from a small place in NY which is some of the highest real estate in the world you don’t realize how ridiculous it is to spend over $4k for a small apartment. Also why would you offer more money than what they were asking? Plus how does the price go up $850 in one year?? That’s a 25% increase! Crazy for most but at least you seem happy 😊! To pay that much and be happy about it you’re definitely not from NY. Glad you are happy though!
People also need to realize that this is actually considered normal to a fair rent and it's still on the low end because she's on midtown Brickell area which is not like the more expensive parts of Miami ... In 10 years that obviously $498,000. You could pay off a 400k home in 10 years paying that much. I mean...i don't think it's worth it to overpay like that just to live in a certain location but to each their own
I had a feeling that was brickell city center…I was like “living above a mall”. Seeing the inside of the mall and the location.
And wait $4200 in 2022 and $4150 in 2023 🤔
And missing how much she makes…usually this channel mentions this.
The fact that someone needs a real estate agent to rent an apartment is insane. But it sounds like this is a condo & NOT an apartment and it’s being rented by the owner.
People in Miami are not happy lol I can’t even afford rent anymore in Miami after everyone moving from New York and California 😡
She doesn't know the locals. Brickell is full of tourists.
You can buy and pay a mortgage for less than $4,200 a mth
True, but you will not like the location much, plus it comes with the stresses of roof issues, water main issues, hurricane, flooding issues. She doesn't have to worry. Townhouses are selling for $700k where I am in South Florida and it's ridiculous, this girl might have a steal on her hands, I think her rent will be higher than $4300 in a few years, someone else will love to take it for a few years just to say they lived there, it's kinda unique ⚡⚡⚡👀
She is 34 yrs old and can afford that kind of rent?!! Wow. I would be living paycheck to paycheck if I pay that kind of rent!
she could also be living paycheck to paycheck, Miami ppl like to LOOK like they have money
😂😂😂😂😂
I love Florida too but I wouldn't live in Miami, I'd prefer a smaller suburb in the pan handle.
