Great stuff stalker, was relaxing to watch while I had my dinner... BTW if you come across an SVU later could you use it for a bit? I got one from Nimble when playing Call of Pripyat SGM 2.2 back in 2019 and really liked it X3
This series is making me want to give it another shot. I tried it yesterday and didnt understand the hype. Never played any of the Stalker series, and it felt janky and buggy
It took me a while to get into it as well. I've been playing for about a a year and a half. There's some guides on how to optomize frame rate, which I needed to do, and all the mods can be a bit overloading. Not to mention the progression is solely based on repairing guns and armor. But once you get the feel for it you can tell it's one of a kind. Give it a shot! If you have questions the GAMMA discord and mine are wide open for help. 👍
@@ZoneByte92 Performance was great, it's super easy to run, so that's a blessing. But AI was pathing through walls, rocks and terrain. Making cover nearly pointless and they just psychically know where I was all the time too. I never saw a gun even 15% working in 4hrs 😭. But thanks for the reply, I have people in my Discord begging me to stream it sometime. I think I will, because I'm feeling inspired from your series and "Stalker Noob plays Gamma" could be fun
@@RGBeanie ah yeah the AI is still kinda dated. You'll want to enable "NPC can't see through foliage" oddly enough helps will getting shot through walls to. For sure would be a fun one to stream since every play through is generally the same but no two are ever alike.
@@ZoneByte92 That sounds like a good idea! I will probably need a few playthroughs as I'm coming in essentially blind, other than from starting your series haha
There's more than a couple problems I have with the mod pack but I think it's technological genius. I just wish mutants didn't take two 12G buckshots to the head and live, I fixed the weapon drop quality to be more reasonable for me too. Doesn't make sense a legendary stalker would drop a 40% weapon imo.
Hello! Is this the most up to date version of Gamma? Are those Unholy Freaks even faster than before? I saw that you play with that map that would be a big no no for me, but okay. Looking forward to new Gamma videos! Good Stuff! Gamma is so good! p.s: Use the Knot!
This is GAMMA 0.9.1 with hotfixes up to hotfix 8 where there was an issue with another mod. The minimap can actually be disabled from the mod menu if you don't want it there. Thanks for watching!

That battle with the blood sucker and poltergeist was pure S.T.A.L.K.E.R. gold!!!
So funny to see how most of the TH-cam struggle or talk so hard of the easy quests and ignore most of the good gear and stashes 😂

Sad there are so many cuts in the video...
Hey man im also starting my gamma playthrough, gonna be fun playing..aside you? Technically? :P eitherway hope u have fun
I feel like you should fieldstrip weapons more often
you missed many green parts
Love your content
you should pick up every single bullet you find you can dismantle them and craft them into new bullets and its an incredibly cheap way to get ammo
Correct, but only once you find the gunsmithing tool kit. Which we have yet to find unfortunately. 😔
@@ZoneByte92you can dismantle bullets anyways with a multitool and the dismantled parts weigh next to nothing

How did you get qest for streloks hideout as military?
Technically it wasn't that exact quest but they knew about the documents. It's part of the military quest line
You didn't like Strelock's Sig ?

what are your specs and what settings are you playing on?
2070 super, i7 8700k OCd 16gb ddr4 M.2 drive. I'm actually going to go over settings and stuff for Thursdays video for full specs and settings.
