Also, I don't know if you know anything about Beartooth, but the lead singer, Caleb, used to battle terrible depression and alcohol addiction. He stopped drinking 2 years ago and started taking better care of himself and his mind and this current album is all about self love and empowerment. He is happy for the first time in his life. He spoke to us all at the concert about living in the now. He said if you live in the present doing what you love doing then you won't be dwelling on the past and the future will take care of itself....just follow your dream right now. Every right now you spend following your dream adds up to the future. Also, after the show, he knealt down on the stage just talking to fans and answering whatever they asked. He's just a good sweet guy. You should definitely react to "I was Alive". It's such an amazing and uplifting song. He dedicated the song to his Grandfather at the concert who has passed away. I hope he lived long enough to see Caleb selling out venues and I hope he heard this song. He would be so proud. ❤

This song takes on a whole new life when you see how far Caleb and Beartooth have come, through depression, addiction and turning around his health. Incredible group. Great reaction! You should check out Riptide, which was sort of the turning point song for them.
While others are recommending other songs off their latest album, which are all just as amazing and empowering, I would also recommend going back and listening to some songs from their first album "Disgusting". Caleb's insane transformation through battling alcoholism and mental health issues is truly one of the most inspiring things I've ever witnessed. Fair warning: the lyrical content on that album is pretty gut-wrenching, especially songs like I Have a Problem & Sick and Disgusting. Took him a long time to overcome those battles, but makes this latest album feel so much more satisfying and impactful.
Came to the comments to mention "I Have a Problem" - that was the first Beartooth track I heard and hearing this energy from them is so inspiring. This album feels like "Guys look how good I did" and I'm here for it
I just saw Beartooth in concert 2 weeks ago ! They were AMAZING !!! Caleb was even sick but sounded better than the recorded versions of the songs ! "Doubt Me", "The Better Me" and "I was Alive" were just WOW. They need the live versions on Spotify. I don't know if anyone uploaded those from the Denver show but if they did... anyone reading this needs to check it out. 🔥

Listen to the album. It's pretty good metal pop. The earlier album are a bit heavier but solid. As for drums look no further. 2 from Sleep and the guy from Dirty loops are on another level.
