A little late in the game, but got my RX with low Sph of 0.50 and my Cyl as -0.75 and -1.00 on OD and OS respectively. I have been contemplating on ordering the proper lens for a change after years of wearing Solotica. I have recently settled with their monthly collection over their "new" yearly (the yearlies are sooo uncomfortable lately and colors are so varied, you can get some that look so fake and have the next order of the same color as undetectable---super inconsistent). I just want to know how are you holding up with the torics. If it's such an issue I might just order my usual monthly planos or even just get the monthly with prescriptions but avoid the yearly torics.
@@aznzensation The toric were more uncomfortable than the non toric one, I get about 6-8hour wear per day which is not enough for me, so and I am trying new brands now, hope to find a better option. About the inconsistency I am not sure about it, maybe they have different manufacturers now? I haven’t ordered from them for a while.
I got the regular prescription solotica lenses. they were soo uncomfortable I tried to wear them for a couple hours. I had to run back up to my hotel room and take them out. They felt like they didn’t fit on the eye at all
It has to be the curvature of the eyes, some people are different than the others! I am a 8.7 ( it’s like a one size fits most) If you use contact lenses on a daily base you should know about yours curvature. I don’t suggest wearing it if it moves around too much.
They are one of the best for color contacts! I have been wearing them for years, it will start irritating after maybe 8 hours. They are still not silicone based like some of the most comfortable contacts I have used, but can’t really compare the colored ones with the clear ones. There are rooms for improvement still.
What do I do if I'm trying to put them in and accidentally drop them in or near the sink? Do I wash them off? If so do I wait 6 hours and try again? Do I just pick them up and put solution in my hands and then rub them in for 20 seconds and try again?
It happened to me before, I first rinsed it off with clean water, and the put solution on and gently rub for about 10 seconds, then rinse again with new solution for another 5 seconds.
kat kat Thank you!😍 I would say it’s not as comfortable as the non toric version, and in my personal opinion I can see it pretty clear yet my friend’s said it’s blurry around the corner, but we have different colors, my friend has the blue one(safira)
@@stellina1982 For me the more time I wore it the more comfortable it got, however I found myself switching back to non astigmatism version because they are way more comfortable, I think 8.7 is within the normal range and if you wear contacts normally it shouldn’t be a problem for you. Hope it helps!
@@laurapariso thank you for your honestly. If i wear non agstimatism lenses would cause the eyes fettine worst? How long you been wearing lenses? Do you find better with normal lenses? Toric are too difficile?

The diameter for these are 14.8 did you feel it was too big? The average contact lense is 14.2 or 14.5
I usually wear 14.5 and I found it ok for for me, if you are with 14.2 it might be a different story

Do you find them ever sliding in your eyes? Astigmatism colored lenses used to do that to me

I got the solotica astigmatism in the color jade and they are literally bright neon lime green…I wonder why mine doesn’t look like this
They were also super uncomfortable even though it said it was my prescription and curve!
Mine was 3 years ago so they may have changed the formula. I switched to a new brand because of wear time.
