Personally I don't care much about not looking 100% natural. Lipstick usually isn't a natural look, same with most makeup. Pretty eye color- natural or not- is still pretty.
Glad you went without the makeup & saved your eyes. Also, I really appreciate you getting close to the camera. It’s been SO tough finding an astigmatism colored lens approved in the U.S. and by my optometrist. Here’s hoping these get the go-ahead, I’d like to try them.

to be honest, its soooo frustrating not being able to wear colored contacts bc i have an astigmatism. i currently wear desio toric lenses but they dry my eyes out like crazy. i have been looking for more "fake" looking contact lenses these days (since toric halloween lenses are virtually unheard of) for costumes/cosplay so i actually might give this brand a try lol
I used WJ Durasoft Colors Toric lenses in baby blue for almost 30 years. They lasted about 1 year per pair for $250. They were very natural looking and extremely comfortable. I never had any vision or other problems with them, then one day I went to reorder and they were discontinued! The eye doctor then prescribed FreshLook Coorblends Torics. I used them for about 5 years and then they were discontinued, just like that with no options to replace them. I tried buying Desio lenses a few year ago. They were very expensive and extremely uncomfortable and not natural looking at all. I was really hoping that these ToriColors would be the answer, but it doesn't appear that they are. I wish that someone would bring back one of the previous lenses. There are many people interested in purchasing them.
@@MrSonnyjack I have tried the Solotica line of yearly lenses - soooo uncomfortable OMG! The colors are amazing but the lenses are so thick they really HURT after an hour or so. It's like wearing cute stiletto's, they look great for a while and then you have to take them off since they hurt your feet so bad.
I wore Wesley Jensen toric dura color emerald green contacts 15+ years ..expensive , yes but so natural Looking, comfortable , no one ever knew I was wearing contacts and I'm so disappointed no longer able get ... I would love to find a similar type ( I never had infections or irritations )
I heard from my optometrist that next year there may be another option for colored contacts if u have astigmatism I'm not sure what specific brand he was talking about but that's what he told me

I have Astigmatism in My Right Eye & my Optometrist she told me when it comes down to Astigmatism in the Eyes, it is Because Astigmatism Eyes has 2 or 3 levels of sight levels in the Eyes & not 1 Level of it like In Normal eyes does

I see this was 2 years ago. Any updates on decent colored contacts for astigmatism? Looking fake isn't a huge deal for me, but the fit being off is a dealbreaker. Definitely need something comfortable.
A while back I went to the optician and tried all the coloured contact lenses. Non of them fit unfortunately and I couldn’t see through them if anything I could see the colour of the contact itself. I’m upset that no colour contact fits

How would I know how to order from online websites that make those contacts if no doctor will give me a specific prescription for that? And also the air optics they prescribed me is not for my astigmatism eye so wearing those regular ones will that damage my astigmatism eye?
They claim my extema is very high or what not but I really want colored contacts and it sucks that I can't get any and I'm trying to find a way to find the best contacts for me that are colored I always wanted green eyes

Just a random question. Do you know what makes it so hard for an optometrist to correctly fit toric lenses? It seems like every time I see an optometrist I end up having to go back 2, 3, or 4 times after my initial exam, and every time I go back they say they got a different toric angle. This has happened at 4 different vision centers. I do have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Hypermobile Form and multiple comorbidities of this but they always say my astigmatism isn't that bad so I don't know if maybe the method used to determine the toric angle isn't very good or accurate, the optometrist doesn't know what they're doing, or my medical conditions affect this. Does everyone have to usually go back multiple times before they can order contacts or is it just me and would you have any guess as to why? Thank you for your time.
Just curious if you got lenses with your prescription or, are you using a sample pair? Asking because that could be the reason why they aren’t fitting correctly on your eye.
They are a demo pair to show the color. I am an optician and was able to get them through my office, and Im sure that the fit is due to the curvature for sure with my eye but thats just mine.

I tried desio as well and they are very thick and drying. It didnt work for me either.
Desio dries my eyes out so bad too 😓
They are horrible..discontinue use. You are damaging your eyes. Corneal swelling.

I ended up getting the golden amber ones. You were correct they look highly pixelated and it has a purplish tint.

Why did they get rid of the fresh look color blends for astigmatism?
That's the big question cause there's definitely a big market for them still. Weird...
They don't hit their target. No profit generated. Not only the toric one, Colors line also long discontinued in many countries due to low profit.

@@andreaazevedo1113 I always recommend getting fit by your doctor, they are going to know what base curves and diameters fit best on you.
