That reminded me of the city scene I did for our club layout 15yrs ago. One thing I learned was to add dogs, cats, and birds with the people. This really adds a lot of character to the scene. Wonderful video.
This is the best detailed video I have ever seen since I started modelling HO scale in all the groups I was subscribed to this is the number 1 video for the way it's all explained in full detailed information about all the products for this project well done and thumbs this deserves 155% for top quality Thank you very much for sharing this top quality detailed video
That was a great video. I feel the very same way about detailing the interiors of buildings, much as I do about customizing people and animals to suit my needs. Thanks for the post!
I'd never thought of using a straw to hide wires; that's very clever. My creation's going to be a timeless Christmas village though, so I'm avoiding specific brand names.
Great video! I wanted to ask - can you use oil based sharpies to highlight houses? I work in N scale and sometimes the area is too small to paint with a brush.

The video is great and contains a many good tips. Just one request, please drop the sound track. The "music" at 4min 20 secs is annoying and detracts from the video.
I rev ember Model Railroader’s first use of color on an article 50 or so years ago. The layout was almost barren of interesting details and just didn’t look real
This video includes many excellent tips and procedures. However, telling us how much the interior lighting and street lamps add the scene falls short of actually applying the power! It's like the modeler has missed his own point. Great work otherwise.
Of the many videos I watched, this is tops. The curb detail is new to me.
Thanks
Glad it was helpful!

Nice work!
Really shows the importance of detailing. I wish I had his talents for sculping figures.
Thanks for this video, it's given me a lot of ideas.
Very nicely done.

Hello Chas!
Great question. Yes. I do quite often. And, I use the brown marker for rust spots when I’m weathering. Thanks!
How can I buy the materials you used in this video?
I'm not sure about your local area. Ask an Expert’ section for members of our online community.
Nice video. It is sad that the video quality 480p is so low... Why do not you use HD resolution 1080p?
How can you print white clor on a transparent sheet?

I'd like to know what kind of glue was used to assemble the buildings. The narrow applicator looks like it would be very handy.
I’d assume that he is using a super glue with an extension tube.

You forgot the paper garbage and stuff that is also found in the street scene.
Frozen people and vehicles bring a railway/road to death. Leave them out.

The little HO people never look real
