@@adventureswithkendall I second the comment about how yours is the best coverage of the history and culture of Oatman. I’ve traveled that stretch of Route 66 a few times and Oatman never disappoints. Thank you for taking us along.
Hello Kendal I loved the two old photos that you started out with. The first photo is of a tri tipped mountain. The first Tip when looked at closely resembles the head of a Ancient Indian. You have to look close but it has two eyes and a nose area and just above the eye's you cam see what appears to be a nature made head band. The second and tallest tip has at least four different faces carved either by man or nature. The third tip Is not clear enough to tell . The second photo with two men also in almost the center of the picture has a face built into the rugged part hard to make it out. Looking around on the face of the cliff I can faintly see some picture graphs or what ever they are called. I loved the old pictures of the Tavern it was so big. I was surprised to see this Town for it was way back in 1964 that I had went through there on the way to Oklahoma with my Grandma and Grandpa Start. She loved to stop at all the places; but being just a sophmore in high school I barely recall anything of the trip except rock hunting and picking up a piece of petrified wood and real long roads. Thanks again for a trip that I enjoyed, have a good evening and better tomorrow.
I need to spend some time looking at those photos again. Sounds like it was a great trip with your grandparents even though you don't remember much. Thanks for watching and pointing out all the things in the photos. Take care!
Another great video. Thanks Kendall.
