you literally just saved me $90. a youtuber i watch was just sponsored by them and i was immediately sold, but i looked them up just to be sure and found this vid. Got the newest projector without the stars for £19. Thanks man ^^
As soon as you began showing the projector, I thought, hey, I bought something exactly like this for my grandkids at Christmas for 40 bucks. I use to work part time at a certain toy store years back and they would get in new merch that had very high prices on them, and we'd mark them down like they were a clearance item. Some never knew they were buying at full retail price. I guess that scam will never not exsist. I did however, enjoy the work you gave to us!
Thanks for the honest review. I wouldn't purchase this because it has a class 3 laser in it. All that means is it's dangerous if someone were to look into it like a small child and I have grandkids.
There are videos comparing three similar products, including Galaxy and they come to the same conclusion that this lamp has a sharper image, brighter colours and just overall better projection. The differences are slight but they are noticeable. If someone is in the market and wants the best product, Galaxy Projector 2.0 is the best currently on the market
Those slight improvements are not worth more than double the price of other offerings that do the exact same thing and have the same lamp inside of them at least in my opinion but to each his own
Great video. I'm curious what these ambient lamps look like on the inside, because i have a feeling that even 50$ is kind of pushing it...Also, I'm not a huge fan of every little thing being shipped with its own app, a couple of analogue buttons would suffice for something as mundane as a mood lamp. more power to people who prefer using an app, but I'm not a fan of all the redundant variables...What if support for the app drops, Ive already had this happen in the past, it ruins the product and its completely avoidable.
Wow! Thanks for the warning! Was just about to buy this thing. Talk about blissful ignorance! I'll go with the Bliss Skylite projector! LOL I now have a double row of cabs that terminate in the centre of the room, with the iiRcade Gold being the last one on the row, which is dead centre of the room, so, that's the one the projector will go on. should do a nice job, getting coverage over at least 2/3 of the ceiling. I still have some older laser projectors from my DJ lighting kit collection, which should also work nicely, in conjunction with the Bliss. :)

Great PSA Dubs! Yeah, these projectors are a dime a dozen. What I think happens is someone comes up with the lamp and just licenses it out to anyone who'll pay them. It's crazy going on Amazon and seeing the same lamp with 20 different names. I got one of these nebula projectors for under $30 back in the day, but it should be noted, mine isn't one that uses a phone app or Alexa, just a remote. I love projectors, as you saw from my Arcade, I use several (couldn't just choose one 😋). Lighting is a major part of the space, but I'm glad you put out this video, because many lighting solutions are the same thing, just with different names and prices. Sure, I've purchased expensive lighting when needed, I'm not going to cheap out when lower priced items can't do the job, or are crap, but yeah, gotta shop around 🙂. vgv

Was hoping that it was a significant uptick in quality, maybe brighter lights, a sharper image, a more randomized star pattern... But it is clear to see from your review that there is zero difference and they are just hoping they can charge double the price via marketing and paying more to be at the top of Amazon search results.

I bought one for Christmas, and I definitely agree that no one should buy this product. Even after thoroughly following the instructions, my projector doesn't power on. I've checked all the connections and other devices can get power perfectly well. Also they didn't provide the plug, I had to use one of my own. Maybe my understanding of manufacturing standards is woefully out of date, but aren't the units supposed to be checked and tested before shipping?
I like real, and you my friend are real and that was a great honest review... I real enjoyed this review and found it very helpful in deciding whats good, what's not, and whats fair.... and I'm sure others would have gained the same or similar benifits from watching your awesome, informational, and honest review. Same for LunarLights, just like GalaxyLamps, it's the exact same website but different name so probably the decoy/sister company. Do not buy. I regret mine. Also 90$, exact same as this one. That's why I think they're the same supplier.

Yeah, the Galaxy Lamps does look noticeably better than other competitors. Is it worth double the price? That's up to the buyer.
