So not sure why steam deck hq had issues on the rog ally
Any anti cheat concerns for offline play?
I’m going to test as soon as servers are online, but I was able to try searching for rooms. Personally, I don’t have concerns, but I’d rather test before saying definitively.
@@SteamDeckHQ thanks! I'm hoping to play this on the train to and from work in offline play so here's hoping I don't need an online connection always!
@@Jubsworth Id assume as long as you bypass the game with Proton (assuming it has an Anti Cheat not Supported on the Deck) there shouldnt be an issue when it comes to Offline Play, i highly doubt the Base Game *Requires* internet to play offline.
How much battery life?
It drains pretty heavily, so around 2-2.5 hours on OLED. Around 1.5 on LCD.
What are the chances of Switch 2 running this game?
It will be tough, but possible if we can scale framerate better.
Sincerely, my biggest fear is not being able to play online because of the anti cheat, I hope it's not the same situation as fighterz
I don’t think it will be! We will test as soon as servers are up, but I am optimistic.
Nobody was cheating…you just suck
are you slow? Anticheat generally makes us SteamOS (Linux based OS) unable to play online. That's all @@philipsalibo7641
Xenoverse 2 is also unplayable online on Steam Deck
Xenoverse 2 uses an older version of eac that isn’t compatible with linux
Welp, time to get an ally X
least it'll work on the ROG Ally.
Nooooooo. Please I want this game so bad
Will there be an optimization patch on day one? Since the game is overloading the CPU, if I set the UMA BUFFER to 1GB, could it improve performance?
I believe I am playing with the day 1 patch, and my UMA buffer is set to the default 1G while testing 🥲
@@SteamDeckHQ =/ And its specs aren't even that powerful compared to heavier games that run super well on the Deck, can you really notice the 'slow motion' effect? I was thinking of playing with everything on low but with the native resolution of 1200x800
@@illuminusForce Have you ever played storm 4 on a potato? If yes then you'll notice the slowdowns. The entire game with feel slow, all the animations, movements etc will quite literally slow down.
Any drm?
Nope.
I hope it will be better on the rog ally
That’s something I can confirm! It’s a bit better. Still slight drops here and there, but not as bad or often.
@@SteamDeckHQ thanks for letting me know!
I'm very sad.
That’s why I didn’t not buy it yet on my sd I buy it on my console and later on the SD sorry for ig you already buy it on steam
@nelsondbeats2557 i saw on reddit there is a day one patch for the game hopefully it fixes the issues
@nelsondbeats2557 also I have a gaming laptop so I'm good
I’m so glad I don’t have no steam deck fan boys talking crap about console players 😂 ya talk wayyy to much when it comes to other games
Found the loser in the comments ☝️
How hard is the "story" compared budokai tenkaichi 1-3 I remember trying those games a few years back and being really bad at them even on easy
I got caught up in a couple of battles, but I was able to get through most within 1-2 tries. I’m not the best player either, but I will say I truly hate Kid Buu.
@@SteamDeckHQ thank you. Looking forward to early access
Crazy that a game in 2024 is hard coding this shit.
This looks good. But don’t expect too much. Steam deck is far inferior to ps5.
Should i refund? 110 plus 9 dollars tax is expensive for a game thats not good for the deck haha
No. Most people agree that it is perfectly playable and still looks and plays good
the cpu most of the times is around 50% and the gpu is around 90%.. isn't that a gpu issue rather than a cpu?
Not exactly. The GPU still fluctuates around, which means it’s not using everything it could. If it was, it would stick to 99% and almost never fluctuate.
None of my favorite games are playable on this thing. I hate the steam deck
Which games are you wanting to play??
Like?this is a 1st day release and hasn't been optimised by devs or proton AT all
@@dillonfasuan5836it’s not even first day. It’s early acess 😂
Lol
Poor steam deck 😂
Then get a real PC rather then a steam brick
