Fast trains at Rossington Level Crossing, South Yorkshire

I was once a delivery driver in Rossington and I hated this crossing. It's on the East Coast Main Line and you could get stuck here for up to 20 mins waiting for the trains to pass. I tried to use a route over a bridge to get my deliveries done, but it took longer!!! Oh joy!!

It is a very busy crossing. I'd imagine the alternative routes frequently clog up as so many have the same idea.

Very nice, alarms a bit dodgy always fast trains on the ECML! blink & you miss em. Love the white house right hext to the crossing i would like it there. Busy crossing. Fab catches!❤😊👍

I definitely think that this crossing has the right idea with the two gates coming down either side.
My reasoning for this is that you cannot legislate for people and especially in this day and age some people most definitely need protecting from themselves.
Better late in this world, than too early in the next.
