27:42 Well, Timothy Dalton was James Bond, and was in Flash Gordon (1980) so he knows his way around an action scene. But he did say that the car chase gunfight in Hot Fuzz was the most fun he ever had on a movie. And considering his pedigree, that's quite a compliment.
The Police Sargent twins both read books from the same Author but from the 2 very different genres he wrote. One's reading Iain m banks sci fi the other Iain Banks contemporary.
23:50: "Jesus Christ, guns akimbo on a bicycle!" Every day, we should strive to craft a sentence never before uttered in our language. Score a major win with this one.
This is one of my favorite movies, EVER. However, I don't think I've laughed as hard watching any reaction as I have laughed watching your mom's expression when he says "Same person" about the mom and the sister LOL
What is amazing is when you start paying attention to this movie is how many references in the second part are to the start. Almost every line, maybe even all lines.
I've seen probably every reaction to this movie (including the bad ones) and I can safely say this was the best by far. You fitted all the key points and jokes in, didn't talk over everything and even more importantly, I wasn't tortured by a mid-role advert every 2 minutes. Great job. 🙂
You missed amongst others Weaver was Edward Woodward The Wicker Man (1973), Callan and The Equalizer, Billie Whitelaw The Omen,Beckett plays: Paul Freeman - Reverend Shooter played Belocq in Raiders of the Lost Ark David Threlfall, the UK original of Shameless, Rafe Spall, the younger Andy was the obnoxious co worker of Shaun in Shaun of the Dead ( and the son of the Great Tim Spall)and the Father Christmas at the start was Peter Jackson Excellent reactions 😊😊😊
Great editing. So many reactors chop all the key parts out and did a sterling job mate. The best reaction to this movie I've seen. Ps. The machine gun the woman had was a British WW2 sten-gun. ✌️♥️🇬🇧
I’ve never yet seen an American get the joke about the neighbourhood watch alliance. It’s a tribute to the rap group NWA. Also the actor playing the leader is Edward Woodward who plays a cop sent to a strange village in the great horror film The Wicker Man with Christopher Lee.
I always love David Bradley's West country accent". Yes that mumbling you heard was an actual dialect in the UK. But it's a mix of English words and slang..So even if they slow down on their speech, you still might not understand it. Another fun reaction, Thanx you two". Oh and the cornetto trilogy was directed by Edgar Wright, written by Wright and Simon Pegg, produced by Nira Park, and starring Pegg and Nick Frost. P.S. See you on the next one!.xx
@@tonibaker3823 no, it's fucking exaggerated. Lived here all my life, not a single person has had an accent as strong as David Bradley portrays it, NOT ONE.
@@jamespicksley5781I used to teach in a tiny village primary school on the edge of Dartmoor, near Okehampton. I often ‘chatted’ to an old bloke in the village. I never understood a word the man said! He must have thought I was an imbecile, but he sounded JUST like this character. If you listen to/ watch old recordings of elderly Devon folk from back in the day, their accents are almost unintelligible (and I’m saying that as someone raised in Devon and married to a Devonian!). I’m assuming this is true of all south west accents.
The cornetto trilogy are my absolute favourite (the world's end being my fav out of the 3) they have such re watchability and still make me laugh. Simon pegg and nick frost are the most amazing pairing, the back and forth between them is fantastic, such great chemistry
If you guys would love to see another comedy/drama movie with a bunch of British stars you will recognize, you should absolutely check out Topsy Turvy from 1999. This was a great film to see you react to, and I definitely look forward to you two watching The World's End. 💯💯✌✌
did he call Stephen Merchant, Stephen Richard? also they talk about Shaun of the Dead but i can't find the SotD reaction on the channel (i used the channel search feature)
Love your reactions to these. Thanks for uploading them. Was the Shaun of the Dead reaction zapped? I can't find it on your channel. Any chance of a re-upload?

I cant stop laughing at the reverend "Jesus christ "😂

Also, Guns Akimbo is pretty funny for an action film based on the comic of the same name!

the music choices in this are so great, from the Adam Ant opening, to the repeated appearance of Jon Spencer for the paperwork scenes, just perfect
Really good reaction vid-you got so many of the important & necessary moments in how you edited this-thank you :)

Excellent reactions 😊😊😊
Wow!! I knew all the older actors were accomplished, but those are some great casting choices!
Don't forget the Doctor was the main bad guy in Lethal Weapon 3.
@Fullmoon Prepping indeed and the baddie in the film No Escape and the film The Mask of Zorro 😊
@@williamburnham3659 I was not aware of that!
This film was really just an excuse to get paid to have a reunion and have a bit of fun?
Peter Jackson as Santa and Lady Galadriel as a csi? Sign me up!
Loved yer enthusiasm in this reaction vid.
Not only Kate Blanchette and Martin Freeman in this but the Father Christmas who does the hand stabbing is played by Peter Jackson 😍
One of the funniest action comedy buddy cop movies ever made;
Every frame of this movie is genius.
Great editing. So many reactors chop all the key parts out and did a sterling job mate.
The best reaction to this movie I've seen.
Ps. The machine gun the woman had was a British WW2 sten-gun.

Chekhov's everything! The swan, the bin, the mine, the guns... all of the foreshadowing.
Hooray for getting to Hot Fuzz!!! Such a fun movie and so many goodies in it. I love this movie ❣😊👏🏾

Welsh?
It's not any slang at all, it's just a very exaggerated accent

@@3Kings_Industriesno, West Country English.
No one ever gets bill bailey as the cop at the reception desk. I think it's because nobody is used to seeing him without his balding mullet lol.
Most people miss That his ex girlfriend is Cate Blanchett. And that the Santa that stabbed his hand is Peter Jackson.

I hope Dalton, at least, received a supporting actor nomination for something in this. He was a standout. I also loved Colman, so cute.
Timothy dalton has the same bday as me and he’s exactly twice my age right now, this is one of my fav movies I’ve watched it so many times 😅
March 21. He is an Aries Sun, Moon in Scorpio.
It's a film I never tire of rewatching!
Just a reminder: *ALL swans in Britain BELONG TO THE **-QUEEN-** KING!*
I think this is in the running for a perfect script. Every moment of film is either set up or pay off and it is a wonder to behold.
One of my favorite movies !! 🎉❤
Here’s one cameo most people miss, the priest was played by Paul Freeman who played Belloq in Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Very Good Reaction Guys. I never realised the "nice ass/nice horse" joke b4..lol
Sooo looking forward to your reaction to this - great movie ! Great cast and so many belly laughs.
i should point out fuzz or the fuzz is a slang term for the police
This movie is brilliant in many ways. Bless your mom, wish i could watch movies along with mine.
Should watch dead man’s shoes,
Heavy film but you’ll recognise one of the andys detectives. Plays a serious role
Love ur guys reactions!!! So funny... but yes love all the actors
To answer your question at 14:52. Oh Hell yeah. Make sure it's the original with Swayze and Reeves.
Love this film, thanks for the great reaction xx
Yes definitely do point break!
I think "Point Break" and "Bad Boys II" should be on the list. 😎
Just a fantastic movie, that is even better when you watch it the 2nd or 3rd time.
My favorite was "A little Girl on Girl".

part of me kind of wishes skinner had nothing to do with it, that he was just a random guy who made off comments.

Edward Woodward the original Equaliser
The World's End is my favorite of the three it's a classic.
isnt the santa that stabs him the director for lord of the rings? like someone famous and that was his cameo
Peter Jackson.

Nick has but I haven't yet. 🙂
