Would love to see you carry Rosemary & Company 'Eradicator' brush - presently not available in the USA and the shipping is more than double the price of the brush!!! Thanks for your count down.
I love these videos. I've just recently discovered Cheap Joe's (I'm in Asheville) and I'm doing my best to purchase all my art supplies from you. Now I have two or three more things on my list. 😍
Just found this TH-cam channel a few weeks ago. Just discovered, with this video, that the physical stores are not far from me in Greenville, SC. I see a field trip in my future!❤️
Yay for signature colors! I'm super fascinated by them, but I am having a seriously hard time discovering which ones are "signature" for each brand. I know some from American Journey thanks to other you tube videos, and definitely Daniel Smith's Primatek line, but can you suggest any other source for finding out who is known for what color? Where do they hide this stuff? You'd think the companies would shout it from the rooftops what makes their different, but i just can't find it. Thanks so much for your fun videos :)
lilybay1 Hey Lily.... I would say “sorta sloppy” but not soaking wet. If you apply lots of wet media would would have to let it dry to avoid overworking the surface. Thanks for your question... and thank you for watching! 😄 Julie
Love the Fine-tech, but didn't know you could buy individual pans! Also Microns-.005 is crazy fine but up to a .3 all make me happy : i use 'em every day-scattered around the house like your erasers LOL. A really nice friend gifted me the Albrecht Durer WC pencil 36 set and they are tops-easy dissolution, nice color selection and yummy just to look at. 😄 Love the vid. Thanks!
Hi julie, I do paint pours and I have so many flat panels, is there anything I can do to get them from bowing on me? Your help would be truly appreciated. Nikki 🙂🦋
Hey Nikki... thanks for your question. Ummm... your panels shouldn’t be bowing if you are pouring. But, I am wondering what panel you are using? The material itself may be the issue here... ? Let me know so I can help! Thanks! Julie 😊
I have a couple of questions. First of all, how does Cheap Joe's Moonglow compare with Daniel Smith's Moonglow? I have Daniel Smith's in both a tube and a pan. It's hard for me to tell by looking at the monitor what the difference might be. Secondly, I have been looking for a white pen or marker that lays down opaque color over dark watercolor paint. I have quite the collection of white pens/markers and none of them do the job for which I bought them. But, I don't have a Posca pen; so, I wonder if the Posca pen would be better than anything else that I have. What do you think?
Hi, I got 3 white Poscas about a year ago-a fine, a medium and a brush...I'm a convert! The coverage is better than anything else I've tried. Over alcohol ink, watercolor, whatever you try! Follow the directions...shake, press, and I always make a few practice strokes on scrap to be sure. Good luck!!
Haven’t tried American Journeys version but I have Daniel Smiths and DaVincis version. DS is more pinky purple toned and DV is more blue toned. I think AJ is more purple toned too. I love the DS version.
Hello Donna! I agree with Judy’s comment below... but I will also say that I use Molotow, Uniball GellyRoll pens, in addition to BleedProof White sometimes. All are great and have their own particular strong points! I hope that this helps! Thanks! Julie 😊
Julie, you're a delight. Especially in these days of violence and nonsense, I hear that bouncy tune & know your easy going style & sense of humor will drop my blood pressure into a normal range... 🙄 Oh... I enjoy your art tips, too. 🤗
I whole heartedly agree about the choice of watercolour pencils. Faber Castel's brand are superior over the others. I use to purchase for a long time from Cheap Joe's but the cost of exchange and shipping rates to Canada blew up and it made the products way too expensive.
Hello Mike! Thanks for your question. As with other watercolor (all paint really) lightfast was depends on the pigments that the color is made from. Each pigment is different and so is it’s lightfastness capabilities. Please see each manufacturers website for al the details. Thanks! Julie 😊
Julie I like the ideas you suggest. But you use the word "like" as if you were a teenager. And you use "you know" way too much as well. Please listen to your recordings. You know!!
Love your personality Julie. You make the video very interesting.
Julie this was so much fun! Gotta love your art tips!
Julie has the perfect personality to bring us these helpful videos. Love them.

Great tips dear👍🏻🎉
I'd like to know some of the signature colors you mentioned, besides the Moon Glow. Thanks
Love your two minute art tips. I would love for you to do these every 6 months!
Another fun and interesting video...thank so much. I want to check out those iridescent paints too.
Only second time I've seen you Julie and oh what fun! Love the sassy, insightful, and honest suggestions, wow! Thanks!
Thank you Julie! Skinny erasers are where it's at! (Among other things - like micron pens - and other stuff you mentioned!)

Bristol is my happy place! If I need more texture, I can add it in the exact amount I need.

Julie, will the AquaBee journals handle juicy watercolors. I like to use WC for my urban sketching.

Great info
"I can like them if I want to" Best advice ever, thank you!
I love your glasses, what kind are they?

Thank you so much P Taylor for your kind comments... and thank you for watching! Julie 😊
Helps to work in an art supply store! None by me and lots of artists in central Washington!
You are so cute! I wish I could take classes from you. Thanks.
Moon glow is not a signature color anymore lol. I love Daniel Smiths and DaVincis. Although one is more pinky purple toned and one is more blue toned.
