Amazing as always!! I would have loved to see the technique for the rest of it. 2 minutes could turn into 20 and I'd still watch it twice while smashing that like button!!

Beautiful. I would never have thought to change up brushes for a variety of marks in the leaves.

Very good thought, water rises from the roots up to the leaves. So darker towards the lower canopy and lighter near the top.

Another great 2 minute tip. I would love to know how you created the spiked ends on the leaves.

Julie, do you offer watercolor classes online? I understand your explanations of techniques. I would definitely signup for classes. ❤

What are your favorite round brushes ? I’m disappointed with every one that I’ve tried. I don’t know why but the tip on everyone of them especially if they are very pointed bends at the very top. So, I never get a fine point. It’s frustrating. I’m in search of the perfect brush line.

Hey Francesca… I really prefer the Cheap Joe’s Golden Fleece rounds and riggers as well as the CJ Interlocked Nylon brushes. Both have great points, lots of snap and last for a long time if they are maintained with care. Thanks for your question and for watching! 😁 Julie

I understand what you mean DM… however we shoot sometimes as many as a few dozen videos in a single day. It means we have to make the best use of our video studio time. We will see what we can do though… 😉 Thanks for watching and thanks for your feedback! Julie

Julie, I have a question. I notice you haven't taped out a border on the sheet of paper, and I prefer painting without the white border. Other times artists are putting masking tape edges on watercolors while painting. My thought is that the masked out border is too confining. In this 2 minute tip you use the whole sheet. Can you explain this some time? Thanks. I look forward to your tips.

Was the finish work entirely gouache? Or what was the combination? Thanks for the video. I enjoy them.

Only the semi opaque small white dashes were done with the gouache and the rigger. It was just a way to create some definition quickly. Thanks for your question and for watching! 😁 Julie

Showing the tube of paint isn't very useful because it's really hard to see the color label. Can you type the name of each color so it's easier to read?

What sounds so unprofessional is her language usage: she keeps "umm"ing, and "like..."and using glottal filler noises. Her demonstration is helpful, but she needs to practice her verbal presentation. That is too distracting. I have seen a few of her previous presentations and had the same complaint.

These should not be called 2 minute lessons. They never are. Call them what they are 12-15 minutes.
