HOW have I neverrr seen this (I'm positive!) GEM!?! Looks hilarious and I can't wait to watch it! And ETERNAL LOVE to the One and Only Dame Maggie Smith's FABULOUS memory, legacy and WONDERFUL Human Being that she was❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🤍‼‼
The cast is full of cinema and theater legends: Peter Sellars, Elsa Lanchester, Estelle Winwood, Eileen Brennan, Alec Guinness. And Nancy Walker in one of the funniest sight gag roles.
Loved this movie from when I was a child back in thy 70s. With Maggie Smith, all the cast are gone now. Pity, as they wetter all wonderful actors in their own rights.
James Cromwell, who played the chauffeur Marcel, and Richard Narita, who played Willie Wang, are both still living, now aged eighty-four and seventy-two respectively.
@@grannyweatherwax8005 Yes, but all the other spoofs mirrored the actual character. The character who was supposed to be Charlie Chan, remained Chinese, the Sam Diamond was still American, and the Miss Marple character remained British. Nick Charles was a former American detective
If you have David Niven and Maggie Smith on board the nationality of the characters is irrelevant - especially as they kept the nature of those source characters intact.
"Don't let him park the car, Dickie." 🤣
I haven't watched this movie in years, I gotta watch it again. I would recognize Alec Guinness's voice without even watching. RIP Maggie. ❤
Just love that movie. The characters are brilliant, the dialog choke full of puns. Wang's wing... 🤣😂
All star cast. Surprise. Ending . They must have fun playing the roles.
Likewise. In VCR days I owned a copy, watched repeatedly. 💔James Coco "My fault. I forgot to blow"🤣
Three British Titans in one scene. RIP Maggie, David, and Alec.
I appreciate Alec Guiness' commitment to the eye bit.
“Don’t let him park the car Dickie” 😂😂😂 I love this film so much.
Rest In Peace Dora Charleston.

I want my Dickie! Absolutely love this movie. Thank you for your many talents Dame Maggie Smith. You will be sorely missed and fondly remembered.
RIP Dame Smith
Brilliant film with a brilliant cast.
Maggie Smith was so great in this.
Dame Maggie had one of the best line readings later in that film: "Oh, that's tacky. That's really tacky."
Dock & Dora are a great couple! I love these actors together. Great movie 🍿
Great movie! I saw this years ago when it first came out in cinemas.
Such a great movie.
Love love love
Bensonmum….now that’s a name I’ve not heard in a long time….a long time
I'm just desperate to know where they got the drink from 😂
"Leave it be Dicky I've had enough." me to my boyfriend when he thinks he is funny.
Love it, they were brilliant
And yes, that's Obi-Wan as the butler.
The voice is spot on.

Ooohh Dickie
This was one of my mom's favorite movies

Sadly only 2 of the cast remain.
Alec Guiness
Is that obi wan kanobi?
Dreadful captioning.
A lot of talent in this film wasted in a very lame comedy with hardly a single good joke.
Nick and Nora Charles were not British.
But they are Dick and Dora Charleston 😂

@@Jumpsuiter289 Disagree. They played them as British aristocrats. Nick was as down to earth as they come. And Nora was spunky, not uptight.
@@cd3694 Speaking of upright, lol. As similarities go, they were all smashed 92% of the time, so they had that in common.
