Actually, in court the Uber paralegal admitted at Small Claims that you can accept Uber trips then convert the trip on a different venue other than the Uber app because we are independent contractors.
Professor, i was deactivated from Lyft… 5 star driver with over 12 thousand rides… NEVER one single complaint… but i swore at a customer service rep via text. Do i have a case?
I cursed at Uber and they didn't let me go. Also, on my 8th puker they wanted me to show proof that I had a professional clean my car and show my receipt. I took a 2nd picture (face only) while on the toilet.
On the topic of cash rides I’ve seen the videos of him text the pax to pay him cash or he’ll cancel the ride .. not only that but try to charge more than what the app is charging which honestly when I saw that I instantly thought he wasn’t going to last soon on the app due to that one pax complaining .. but this instance it does seem like a hater got him deactivated and not a pax.
He’s already back on the platform because he was able to prove he didn’t do any rides that day around that time. It was definitely a hater on his channel that tried to report him. He made another video about it.
Jeff was probably getting a "mystery rider" every day, maybe every other day. At least once a week. And all it takes is one implied suggestion that he would take cash for a trip instead. Uber sent a mystery rider after I reported a passenger for a mess in my back seat. They got spilled soda, all over back seat. And it was on camera. Thats an easy 150 cleaning fee. I got the 150 almost instantly. This mystery rider showed up a few days later and asked about 50 questions in an 8 minute trip, and tipped 5 bucks cash to sugar coat it. She was trying to get me to talk about the spill, and cleaning fee. It took about 10 seconds literally for me to ID her as a mystery rider. Be aware that companies do this. All fast food chains. Most big gas stations (cumberland farms) all mystery shop their own stores. Be well. be safe. Be careful what you say to a passenger.
@@deucesofgrowth6925 easy peasy. companies out there already do the service for banks, fast food, and gas stations. they pay their own staff, or pay the service. say they want one driver. they shadow the account. let the mystery rider get in place, and request a ride. and then only that ride pings. sure the driver could deny the ride request...but there are technical ways to bottleneck a driver into taking a mystery rider. i had at least 3 in 800 rides. you can tell when you get one. 100 questions. questions designed to get you to talk about something, or cause frustration. they will test the driver and evaluate them, for a service or directly for the company. jeff is already back online, so not sure if it applies to his case. but you can bet. if you gave over a few hundred rides, at least one was an employee or a 3rd party service.
I cannot complain about LYFT driver support , THERE IS NONE> I would NOT put it past them to plant someone in a controversial driver's car to do just what was done to Jeff. They steal tips, they shave bonus zones , LYFT has the morals of a drunken rabbit. If it made them money to bring drivers to their early demise they would do it. The ONLY thing that brings them to pretend about caring about the people who earn them money is the threat of a lawsuit and loss of money.
Jeff has been standing up for AZ drivers for years. He’s been doing a lot for drivers all over the country. Watch his channel and you’ll see what he’s all about. He speaks nothing but the truth and really knows his stuff.

Lyft and Uber have outsourced the customer service to India and Malaysia so they don’t have to resolve your issue. In fact they don’t care
100%
His channel got him deactivated. There's no person that deactivated him.. it's was Lyft or Uber
I heard about this and saw his video. It pissed me off. This is why I havent touched the lyft app ever since I started doing private rides.
You can do private rides, but you have to have commercial insurance
@Sweetlove322 what company does commercial insurance in CA?

So will he get back on the platform?
He should get back on. Takes about 3 weeks
