    Had a 1937 with suicide doors. It would start at -34F. Couldn’t boost anyone with 12 volt system, but, with a tow chain and a little gas in the carb, I used to get other car going in the area. Nothing to get 25-30 degrees below zero in Northern Canada. Gave it to one of my uncle and he put the motor in his old GMC.

    Just take the #1 plug out and lift piston up all the way and set to the cap # 1 wire

    Hi, love the vids what a source of great info that is hard to find these days.
    Q. On a 1957 chevy 3100 235 6 cyl.
    I have the scale adjuster as your dad showed first but im not sure how to set it to zero? Could yo ask him please? And thanks in advance.

    The leaking did you ever fix it? Was it the water pump? I didn't know but on my 1950 deluxe it has a drip hole on the water pump, I was about ready to replace it.

      Yes me too. I got mine 50 years ago when I was 16. It took a loooong time to get it restored. all original parts ect..

    Did you have any trouble with the break drums ?

      No. the breaks on this car are the same as any other break drum setup.

    Would being out of time also cause it run hot?
