- Bluetooth has simplified our lives and kept our desks free of tangled cords. Still, it can be pretty inconvenient when your Bluetooth gadgets randomly disconnect from your Windows PC, whether wireless headphones, keyboards, mice, or any other device. Users have complained that Bluetooth devices randomly disconnect from their computers, causing frustration and trouble. This is a typical problem many users have and is not difficult to resolve.
If your Bluetooth device, like headphones, etc. keep disconnecting randomly in Windows 11/10, here are some proven suggestions to help you resolve the issue:
1] Remove all Connected Devices
2] Check for Wireless Interference
3] Modify Bluetooth Power Settings
4] Run Bluetooth Troubleshooter
5] Restart Bluetooth Services
6] Reinstall Bluetooth Drivers

For anyone having this issue when they are PLAYING GAMES, this is most probably due to power management settings and method number 3 might help. If this doesn't fix your issue, then the cause to your problem can be your hardware design as overheating might be causing your Bluetooth chip to not function properly.
overheating of my laptop?
@@balasubrahmanyam6695 I kind of found a fix. My wifi on/off button started disappearing as soon as I turned on my laptop. So I opened it up, cleaned the wifi chip with a pencil eraser. It's been 2 months, my Wifi and Bluetooth are working perfectly
The power management tab is missing.....
I want it to stay connected forever. If I am not playing anything, it just disconnects itself. So annoying.
I have the same problem. Did you find a way to solve it ?
@@keshavancharaz8154same here if I paused a video even for like 5 seconds it automatically disconnects
same problem how to fix it?
hey! i am facing the same issue . do you have any idea how to fix it

I can't find the Power Management tab in my Bluetooth Device's property? This bluetooth's disconnection is really annoying and frustrating.. wish I stayed in Windows 10.. damn
Me neither. Power management not visible. But I think you have to remove the offending device from the bluetooth devices in System and reinstall it. It may have been installed wrong the first time. Then go back to Device Manageer and see if the power management has appeared.
@@mikaelbiilmann6826 go to realtek wireless bluetooth adapter option you will find power management option there
check intel (R) Wireless
It's still happening on 10 too don't worry. No power management tab
@@sajrudinaalam6797 thanks for that, I've been looking for a while now
it disont randomly disconnect, it rapidly just deactivate itself over and over again rapidly repeatedly forever, i fixed it a few weeks back, but now its back and i cant fix it anymore
If u have any idea please share I have same problem
yes this literally me with my headphones its so annoying. every 5 seconds i hear the disconnect and reconnect sound. also, the audio isn't working
If your issue is solved please share
@@deepakkaushik4300 yeah it is but it turns out it was really simple. my audio output had somehow defaulted to my microphone so i just switched it back
@@_dashyy thanks
For people unable to see power management tab in their device properties, make sure you are opening the properties for your bluetooth adapter. NOT the individual device such as mouse.
or just go through all the items in that list, if it has power mgmt tab, disable it. if not, move on to next. You are bound to find 1 device having the power mgmt tab
mine will stay connected... but when i put my bluetooth earbuds back into their charging tray, then put them back in my ears, my microphone doesn't work. really odd. I will still get audio and it will say both the mic and audio are ready for the bluetooth headset on windows. have not seen a fix for this yet.
Hi, may you do a tuto for those who only loose BT connection after some minutes when no sound is played on the PC ???
Indeed, my BT connection works very well, i can listen music for hours, but as soon as i'm stopping listening music or make a pause on a TH-cam vid (nearly 30 minutes) the BT is disconnected and i have to go in the BT settings to reconnect my speaker !
no power management options in Bluetooth properties
If you're experiencing random connect-disconnect issues with Bluetooth, try using a Bluetooth dongle. This happened with my laptop's internal Bluetooth as well. The internal Bluetooth enters 'eco' mode and is like 'sleeps' when switching between applications. Using a Ugreen Bluetooth 5.3 dongle resolved the issue for me, keeping the Bluetooth connection stable and always on. Good luck!
how can you give me process detailed..
When I click on Bluetooth and devices it just closes
None of the above works for me
I Bluetooth doesn’t have the power management option
This video over-simplifies the problem. And it doesn't always help. In my case, and others, it is difficult problem to resolve.
It’s not even a device of mine, it’s the bluetooth driver itself. It won’t stop disconnecting and I can’t even go into device manager anymore because it keeps refreshing.
Find anything? my controller just starts reconnecting in game all of the time it’s unplayable.
i dont have power management tab
None of these worked for me and If you are coming here after following all the troubleshooting steps in various articles, save time, there is nothing new here..
Thank you soooo much for vid!🙏method 3 worked for me
I found this video helpful and I think 02:26 this solution helped me
On mine there isn t power managment window

@@Morcego538I'm really sorry I may have missed your comment.
If you got the solution it's great but If you still haven't, plz lemme know I'll help you. Obviously for free 😅
OMG thank you so much! it was the number 5 for me!
The fix if none worked: Anyone here in the future looking and couldn't find anything out after all this time of searching. Do me a favor. First go to your adapter and see if it's 2.0 or 3.0 and see if the place it's plugged in matches, because mines didn't match and until I put mines in a usb 2.0 slot. It would just disconnect at random. Your welcome.
can you please tell me more about it can't find weather its 2.0 or 3.0
What adapter what are you talking about
@@someone7773 I caught this fast. let me bless you. Like the actual bluetooth adapter. Your PC has some USB 2.0s and 3.0s. If you plug the adapter into a 3.0 if it's 2.0. it bugs out. I think it happened that way for me which is why I left the comment. I simply had my adapter in a 3.0 so it wouldn't work since the adapter is usb 2.0. I put it into a usb 2.0 and it's worked ever since.
@@MentallyUnhappy I’m saying how did you get to it
Wherever you plugged your bluetooth adapter you bought into your pc or laptop. Unplug it, make sure it's in the right one if it's 3.0 it works in either, but if it's 2.0 put it in a usb 2.0 slot. They are the non blue ones. Also plus it into other slots, that one where you have it plugged in rn might not work at all for that adapter. if your bluetooth is built in. Simply buy a blue tooth adapter and save yourself the waste of time. there 10$ max. That will solve your problems. @@someone7773
