Little advice to anyone doing this, when re installing valve cover with new gasket make sure the gasket hasn’t slipped out of place it could happen and won’t seal right :D
I have a leak in the same place in the 2008. Scion TC. But there’s a heck of a lot of positive crankcase pressure. When you take off the oil cap sounds like the exhaust is coming out of it. I think mine is being caused by crank case pressure. ? But my oil leak is in the exact same spot you’re pointing to. Did a compression check. With engine warm , 3 cyl have 170 psi one has 180 psi. So that’s the confusion on low bye. Any experience on this? Also did a piston soak with Berrymans B12 a few months ago and it really worked on cutting down the dreaded oil consumption on these 2AZ FE enginesThanks
Great video. Previous owner stripped one bolt in the center and when I open up to change I realized it was missing a center bolt.. After opening everything up, I can see the bolt that was strip. Any idea how to remove Roy? Thanks.
A couple things. You should never use a metal screw driver to lift the cover off, it can damage the surface. You can also leave the hoses on, if you disconnect from the plastic (the other side). Great video though.

Hello Roy! Please provide a list of parts that you use in this video.
Good video man can u make one on the same car for the rubber circle seals that go inside the spark plugs
If I get a job that requires it, I’ll be sure to make a video on it! Thanks for watching 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽

When you buy a new valve cover can I remove my old pcv valve and put it on my new one ?

Ntn gonna happen when you’re a pro it’s okay
Tapping with a rubber mallet helpful in breaking valve cover grip instead of risking potential damage trying to pry it
My car is leak oil in the valve gasket and the spark plugs are oil.
Please ,can you ride the names of the piezas.thank you so much.
Maybe not scrape the bits of gasket down into the engine and a torque wrench will help to make sure your bolts wont work loose.
What is wrong with the old cover?
Front of valve cover splitting open. Oil leaking. Common problem.
