Even though Arne Villumsen is schooled in Bournonville, I thought that Gregory Dean’s dancing was so much neater and his lines much more pleasing. They are of course different generations so it might not be an enitrely fair comparison. Many people revere Arne V here in DK, but I think many of the non-Danish dancers at the Royal Danish Ballet dance Bournonville beautifully.
