Is there still competitive play. I've played against brutal Ais for years and always wanted to compete against real players. I'd certainly be able to hang with these guys.

I have always been a turtle when it comes to games such as C&C. I like to spend all of my money(game wise) on defenses then once I know my base is fully loaded with weaponry I then start rounding up units. But that's just the way I've been playing

Hey guys, could someone explain what happened to Technique? Why does he not play anymore?
He finds it is too boring to keep playing C&C3, he plays other strategy games instead.

In my opinion, the biggest difference between Bike and Masterleaf is mentality. While I still think that Leaf is a more diverse and accomplished player with the deepest understanding of the strategy of this game; Bike has ice running through his veins. Bike with all of his attention to detials, great micro, and the best pressure in the game is able to get the best out of his tools, although the ones he using might be just a tiny bit worse of those of Masterleaf. Bike is still - understending wise - is just a smidge behind Masterleaf. The problem with Leaf is that he gets tilted so easely and even the slightest of discomfort or inconvinience(inside or outside of the game) is most of the time enough for Leaf to throw away the whole series eaither intentionaly or unintentionaly. I truly believe, that if Leaf was at peace with himself, he would've won these series or at least would've shown a way better play in those last three games.
P.S. Not taking away anything from Bike, strong mentality is also a part of any game, and Bike is defenately one of the best in KW and TW.

After seeing much of Leaf's fvods, I can definately agree that once the favour goes away from him, he just starts to show signs of discomfort and annoyance
It's the opposite actually. Bike tends to choke in the big events. Leaf has beaten him in the KWWC and Decade Cup. In fact, in the decade Cup, Leaf 4-0 ed bike in the most dominant performance ever. His micro and macro was insane and he did not even get caught by surprise, not even once.
@@JohnSmith-kj3jy bruh... I was talking about the emotional side of things, and Bike is way harder to be tilted than Leaf, that was my point. Like I said, if we are talking pure skill and tactics, imo Leaf beats Bike, although that remains to be seen.

Two most entertaining players, one of the best caster casting one of the best yet underrated game, what could be better than this!
The odds of a random-mirror and a double-random-mirror are both 11% (assuming 9 factions). It's like how (in a 50/50 population)(assuming 2 sexes) if you pick two random people from a population, they have a 50% chance of being the same sex, and picking a specific sex person and a random person has the same odds of turning out to be the same sex, 50%.

Oh Unleashed and Technique... those were the days. I do missed them all, but thankfully we still have BikeRush, MasterLeaf, etc. still playing C&C.
Vindies vs Dimon, Bikerush vs Masterleaf, those matches are always bangers.

I am going to be honest here, I have played StarCraft for a big part of my life and I am starting to play C&C 3 campaign to get to know the mechanics of this game; and frankly I am still kinda new to this game despite watching the multiplayer matches to get a better understanding of the units and such
The units are certainly different. But I find the two changes that took longest for me to get comfortable with after going from SC to C&C are the buildings (waiting for them to build before laying them down), and the terrain. Maps are almost always much more open, and it's harder to create choke points and turtle up in C&C.
@@mattjohnson8585 my biggest issue is the movment, since units are no longer selected after so many 'left clicks' for microing

Honestly with how Esports games are actually like, it’s probably for the better that C&C was never turned into an Esports. Starcraft 2 in particular became a mess when it became more focus on Epsorts.
I really enjoy SC2 and SC2 esports.
@@OneSybert I enjoy Starcraft 2 also and do like to watch tournament matches, but damn is the game very hard to get into now. Far more focus on micro abilities along with adding and removing units (at least during the expansion periods).

bike is just maybe the best player period in the game but leaf usually stays more cool headed than other players and rarely gets tilted.
No... Leaf tilts easy (i am on masterleaf side, but he is easily tilted if you watch his vids)

The C&C series in general has always been well-loved and fun to play. Some titles more than others, of course, but that’s the main reason why we stick around to watch and play them. These games were made with love, even if the publishers shat all over them and left them to rot because they were too niche and didn’t bring enough money.
I grew up on Red Alert 2 myself and I have a soft spot for that game to this day which has grown into a love for much of the C&C franchise. I may suck absolute ass at anything from the main series, but I still love watching it being played.
C&C is still the king of RTS
bike rush seems like he's consistently on another level compared to other c&c players.
To the point where it gets boring. I'm at the point where if I see his name, I just skip the game. respect for his high level play, but I wanna either watch him lose a few matches or not watch him at all.

I know Masterleaf has been busy with his mod, so he's been keeping up with casual games to play test it. It's pretty impressive that it's working with other versions of KW without serious issues so far.
That was a hell of a way to start this series of matches. Good on Masterleaf not getting tilted and recognizing he had everything he needed.

Steel Talon vs Steel Talon is pure joy to watch. No stealth, no sneaky raids, ambush or 1 click shenanigans. Pure armor and firepower duking it out.
i cant understand what's going on in the game im confusing all the time , how you play this c&c. i can only play c&c 1 camera angle
I have no clue who these guys are but man it´s was a blast to watch I would not last 1 min but hell I would not even last 1 min against majority of RTS players.
But what surprised me the most is that the C&C 3 still has a huge competitive scene even today I for some reason got this video as a recommendation.

Nope, not a mod. I am using Masterleaf's 4K texture pack, but honestly the base game just still looks good 13 years later.
