We did what?! If you've been following along on our social media, you know we've been "under construction" for a bit! After living in our Grand Design Imagine 2600RB full-time for over two years, we decided to make some changes. We are by no means construction experts, but in this video we walk you through how we removed our Thomas Payne recliners and our dinette. Stay tuned for our upcoming video, where we show you what we put in their place!

Great video Mike and Steph! We have thought about renovating our table and couch area too, next trailer. We are jealous that you have an outlet at your table, that would be great for plugging in the laptops, for schooling and video editing.

It has taken us 2 years to decide to do it! Having the outlet in the dinette has been so nice! We plan to keep it and just move it over for the new area. Thanks so much Kurt and Jen!!

lifererouted I like how comfortable the couch is and the fact that it reclines and the fact that it has cup holders for days, but yeah it’s kinda big and brown and not very cute 🤣🤦🏻♀️
Yes! I'm no decorator by any means but I think changing them out is going to make it feel a lot more like a home 🥰 but we will miss those cup holders!

Do you find that removing the original articles created any compromise to the integrity of the slide out? Do you think the articles you removed stabilized the slide out in any way.
Good question! We haven't noticed a difference in the slide out integrity/stability at all since removing the original stuff.

What did you do w the dinnette? I need one
We kept it together the best we could, but some of the wood was pulled apart. I think we're keeping it for now in case we decide to put it back in. You could try to see if anyone has theirs in the Grand Design Facebook group! There's also a group on their dedicated to parts etc. for our models.
