I show in this video how to make clips for the Zebra Billy Cans. These clips will work on all of the billy can range from 16 cm to 10 cm. They will hold the lids on the 16 cm and 14 cm cans and hold the bail arms up on all of them.
    I used 2 mm rods

Should be able to get those rods at your local welding store. They usually come in 30" lengths. Very nice video. Thanks-

This may or may not be of any use - but I just finished a couple of clips made from old spokes from a bicycle wheel. They may be just shy of 2mm and I suspect that the metal is a little softer than what is being used here. But they seem to fit and hold the pot handle and the lid in place. Still - clearly this solution needs road testing. Anyway - it was faster and cheaper just scrounging those parts to get going (just received my 14cm one today) ...

Yeah - thanks for the content. It was a good resource for getting the shape right. I guess I'll just have to wait and see how those spokes hold up ... not even really sure what they're made of ...

    • @PaulBissekerBushcraft

My vision being what it is, it would be difficult for me to make something that small. Would it be possible for you to make a set for a 16 CM Zebra Billy pot and send them to me? I like my new pot, just the plastic clips are useless.
