I must try and go there hopefully this year. I went there years ago to have a look at there fire service/ station so way before they extended there line for main line connection etc
Your wife will forever be known as "The Lady in Red"! Seriously, the dining car is breathtakingly lovely and the Menu would suit me just fine as well. Thank you for sharing.
I just booked this summer and am really looking forward to it, but I was wondering. As I was only shown 1 option for each course, how did you get to have more options to choose from? Really loved your video :)
Wonderful! But I must admit that I'm a bit shocked Sir! I thought you had to wear evening gowns and tuxedos to dine in such a posh train! I'm joking of course :) And I'm grateful that you let me travel in such a luxury pullman coach with such a nice lady with me at the table. I must confess that I had some problems reaching for the wine though. Anders PS Now I need to get some Pullman coaches for my 00 railway
+Frobard It really was a memorable experience! I am glad they weren't too posh or I wouldn't have been able to go! With such a filling meal I wasn't able to finish my large glass of wine! The nice lady thanks you for your kind comments!
+canvids1 I know on our local preserved railway most of the people who serve you are volunteers and they too do a fine job. These people at Bluebelle are so very good at what they do I wonder if they are professional.
+ASIF VIRK It was a rewarding experience! Previously that weekend we experienced what it is like to travel on crowded trains around and under London. Such a contrast!

It is certainly well worth a visit. I do hope they can get into operation again soon after the virus.

Brilliant video looks like a nice railway line looks very posh in that carriage...Kai
+Braunton 34046 It really made us feel like we were rich!
My word all very posh,,,, must be quite a logistical nightmare to get everyone catered for and served...
+Alan Plumb Those doing the waiting were so well skilled and efficient at doing it.

It was several years ago we had that experience. It could be that nowadays the choice is smaller.

A dinning experience to remember (no doubt the bank balance will ) but worth it
+David Howarth it was very enjoyable. The first time I ever experienced such an event was on your local line the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.
Your wife I bet was in second heaven being on that train.
Lots of servers, food and wine you both must have had a great day along with the train ride.
