Night Landing at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (VABB/BOM). One of the Single runway operation busy airport in the world! Enjoy it! #aviation #pilot #airbus #a320 #india #mumbai #landing
It's the first time I have watched video on how the Indian Atc communicates, thanks for the video brother. The quality and clarity is awesome keep up brother 🙏
Hello Sir, I work at VABB Tower. Loved your video and recognised the voices as well. Keep the great work. VABB is very much busy and thus tough to work on. Great to know perspective from cockpit.
Best cockpit view video ever. You are the only crew who shares each and every information which is required for a pilot to land, even with ATC communications. Nice work. Keep it Up.
I am a student pilot just started with my cross cntry flights and this video helped me a lot in understanding how to communicate with radar...currently matching that speed while communicating is tough
keep going! like everything on life, its practice practice practice, we all pass trough the same, for me what also helped me, was listening ATC live app on different countries Live ATC airports, helps a lot!
Please bring more such videos. These RT calls are so helpful for learning. ❤❤❤ Btw a small correction it is VABB not VOMM in the description. VOMM is Chennai. VABB is Mumbai
brooooo this is the first time I'm seeing such an aero video of landing!!! the clarity of the commands nd ofc the video quality. for sure this is the first time I've ever seen a video where charts and vector diagram nd even facts are displayed!! keep on posting such videos⛽
This is fantastic! I just had my first ever flight last month and I am obsessed with everyting flying. Love the aestheics in the video too. Please do keep them coming!
Love the video! I remember growing up I saw many similar videos specially from guys over at HighPressureAviationFilms. But first time seeing such good quality of operation at an Indian aerodrome. Please make more, it's lovely to see.
Thank you for posting, really cool to hear the ATC in this. I try to listen in from at home with a radio, but the signal is abysmal and I can barely pick out anything. Also, at 4:46 you can see ghatkopar railway station in the bottom left, and ghatkopar metro station jutting out perpendicular to it. I've often watched planes passing overhead for landing from there, it's really cool to see the cockpit POV of the same!
Lord! That was a long taxi ride to the gate; almost half the video was just taxiing. Imagine all the passengers queuing up in the alley and waiting to get off. And BTW, once you cross the hill, I live somewhere on the right side of the plane's path. I always see planes coming inbound to the airport.
Thank you. As seafarers, anchored off various seaports keeping watch, we would often see aircraft on descent/take-off and wonder what they were doing to not get distracted by background lights whilst also staying busy on R/T and controls. Focus vision, peripheral vision, audio inputs, weather, traffic, and more.
This is such an amazing video. I pass by the Eastern express highway every day and always wondered why every flight passed by a very specific location(Godrej buildings at Vikhroli). Now it makes sense seeing the aerial view as its literally a straight route towards the runway in Andheri
I am quite interested to know about how you set up cameras because you have good sense of lighting and angle. I know some things might be enhanced in post-production but still the angle and the editing is top-notch.
Thank you!! Your words means a lot, yes angles where planned after many attempts, and filming, planing and editing is something I was doing 5 years ago with other videos non aviation related, so that helped a lot, every day we learn something new. Happy new year!
Shivaji maharaj or maharaja i think in the west a is added perhaps mistakenly to many sanskrit words giving wrong meaning for example yoga when it should be yog but correct me if I am wrong a maharaj is immortal and a maharaja is just a mortal king.?
They were at F speed in Flaps 2 which will cause a high pitch angle. When F3/FULL was extended, it greatly reduced that pitch angle from about 5° to 1°. It was not the GS capture since GS* was not indicated on the PFD, meaning that the GS had already been previously captured. The flap-extension pitch effect is a bit more exaggerated on the A321 than the 319/320 due to the double-slotted flaps, which helps prevent tail strikes during the flare. Only the A321 has that flap type.
@ It wasn't a nose-dive lol, but the pitch down definitely started after flaps 3 was selected. Watch the vid again. The Vertical speed stayed the same, but the angle of attack was greatly reduced. If it was a dive or glideslope capture, the vertical speed would have changed rapidly. Also, in an Airbus, you cannot "capture" the glideslope without the aircraft being in GS* mode. It was not in GS* mode when the pitch down started in this video.
Felt so nice seeing Eastern express Highway from cockpit..It it Dubai Mumbai or Abu Dhabi Mumbai vistara.. Would love to see more take off and landings checklist how mechanisms function with in cockpit be it pre take off or minutes before landing .All the best and do continue posting such beautiful night arrival/ departure videos from /to T2 Mumbai
Considering you can hear the callsign “Red Knight” which was Air Asia’s callsign back in the day, I would say this video is about 4yrs+ old. And the pilot who was flying Bajaj’s GLEX has been with another company for about 5yrs, so I’d say this video is about 4yrs to 5yrs old.
.-- --- .-- bravo gives you a perspective from the pointers . I wonder what fort is on that hill obstacle. A silk landing 🛬 wish you safe flying always.bombay as a jewel 💎 box.

Does Indian Aviation allow cameras to be put inside the cabin? I can see one on the left side of the front mirror ( Captain Side )
Im not regulated by indian aviation, so I don’t know it
I have a question...is that all jeppesen charts shown in video ?vor the eAIP ?
I believe its the busiest and delhi comes after mumbai
No. Delhi is the busiest...both National and International.

why sudden nose down at 3:35? Is it because you got captured by ils?
Glide slope captured
